FoxRiver Landscaper

Had a big dead spot in the yard that kept coming back no matter what we tried. Foxriver checked it out and said the soil was compacted bad underneath. They aerated the whole area, brought in some topsoil and reseeded it. Been about two months now itsfilled in pretty much completely. Wish we'd called sooner

our yard had a serious erosion problem on one side where water was running off toward the neighbors property every time it rained. the soil was washing away and taking mulch and plants with it. tried fixing it ourselves with some edging and extra dirt but it didnt hold. finally looked into actual landscaping companies in Glen Ellyn and went with FoxRiver Landscaper. they came out assessed the slope and said we needed a small retaining wall plus some regrading to redirect the water flow. also added some ground cover plants to hold the soil in place long term. its been through a handful of heavy rains since then and the water goes where its supposed to now. no more mud running down into the neighbors yard. the plants are starting to spread too which should help even more next season

Started talking to FoxRiver Landscaper about a patio back in October. They came by, looked at the yard, and gave us a pretty clear picture of what made sense without trying to upsell a bunch of extras. We finalized everything before the holidays and they got going in early spring once the ground thawed. The patio itself turned out really solid - the stone pattern looks better than what I was picturing from the samples. Glad we didn't try to rush it and just let the process play out naturally.
