We are very pleased with the work they performed - everything was done very efficiently. We had a roof leak at a very complicated junction. The repair was effective, and looks great. We had a significant rainstorm the very next day, and the leak was gone!

We reached out to Spandikow to have a series of shingles replaced after heavy winds. They came right out and did a quote that was reasonable and then were out the next day to fix it. I was happy with the work.

We called Spandikow & Son to help us with the ice dams we had. We were getting some leaks into our home from the ice dams. They were able to come out the same day and remove snow/ice near our gutters and apply salt in them to help with the melting. Thank you for being so helpful and quick!

Heavy rains and water pouring through the ceiling. Called Spandikows. Next day came over tore the old roof off and put a new one on the next day. Cleaned every thing up. Did a great job! Following day 4 in of rain. Not a drop in my house. THANKS!

Spandikow & Son replaced the deteriorating concrete crown on our fireplace chimney. Also power-washed black mold off and tuck-pointed as needed on both of our brick chimneys. They responded quickly to my answer questions and resolved a couple of issues I raised. Chimneys both look dramatically better. We were totally satisfied with their work.

submitted an online estimate on Feb 27, Rich came to check the roof leaks from kitchen vent and chimney & received quote in email on Mar 1, paid deposit online on Mar 6 (convenient) after I had all my questions answered by phone (did not respond to questions on my email), then repair was done on Mar 12. It seemed like the kitchen vent was bad, and flashing tins had to be reset by chimney. glad that no water damage on plywood.

That day, I had to go to the hospital to visit my brother. When I got back, it was completely finished, even more than originally discussed. Steve promptly replied, investigated the problem, and offered a comparable quote. A service date was quickly set up, his crew was helpful in further explaining the issue, and clean-up was great. Spandico and Sons fixed a long-standing roof leak that other contractors that worked on our house either missed or made worse. They also resealed the miters on our gutters that were newly installed several years ago and definitely should not have needed servicing. I regret not hiring Spandico back then when I had the roof and gutters replaced. Thank you for finally getting to the bottom of a very frustrating issue.

We've used Spandikow & Sons for jobs both big and small. They replaced our roof about 12 years ago and fixed the ventilation problem in our attic crawspace. The cost was competitive, the work was completed quickly, the workmanship excellent, and cleanup thorough. More recently, they repaired the crumbling mortar and top on both our fireplace and utility chimney, and again we were happy with the quality of work. Recommended.

Spandikow comes highly recommended here in Glen Ellyn, so when we needed a new roof and gutters we turned to them. Their phone response time was extremely prompt, they came immediately for an estimate, and returned to do the work well within the promised time frame. On demo day I was really impressed with the detail with which they performed clean up at the end of the day. Demo is messy, but when they left you would not have known anyone was here working. Two day job done very much to our satisfaction.

Spandikow did an excellent job on our flat roof repair. They communicate clearly using email which was very convenient. It saved me from having to leave work multiple times to get involved. They quoted a very fair price and did the work in a very timely fashion. We are very happy with the results and would use them again if ever needed.

I found Mark Carpet Cleaning through a nextdoor post from someone in Lombard, wasnt even sure they'd come out to our area but they did no problem. we have three bedrooms all carpeted and the hallway runner, everything needed it bad. moved into this house about two years ago and never had the carpets professionally done, just rented one of those grocery store machines once which honestly made things worse somehow. anyway i called on a tuesday and they had availability that same week which was great because my in-laws were visiting the following monday. the two guys who showed up were quick, moved our bedroom furniture around without us even asking which saved me from throwing my back out again. the hallway runner was the worst spot, like years of foot traffic ground in, and it came out looking way better than i expected. my mother in law actually complimented the floors which has literally never happened before so theres that

My sister had her carpets done by Mark Carpet Cleaning last spring and kept telling me to book them, and I kept putting it off because I figured it wasn't that bad. Finally looked at the carpet in direct sunlight one morning and yeah it was that bad. I texted the number my sister sent me and they got back to me really fast. Scheduled for the following week. The guy focused a lot on the high traffic path between the kitchen and living room which was the worst part. It dried overnight and the texture feels different now, softer.

Had them clean the air ducts throughout the house. There was a lot of buildup in there apparently - they showed me some of it before they started and it was pretty gross. After the cleaning the airflow from the vents felt stronger, which makes sense if all that stuff was blocking things up. The house just feels like it breathes better now. Our place in Glen Ellyn is older so it had probably been a while since anyone touched the ductwork. Really glad we got it taken care of.

The tech actually took his shoes off before coming in which was a nice touch. Carpets came out looking way better than I expected for how stained they were. Dried up pretty fast too, by the next morning everything felt normal again.
