If you’re looking for above and beyond service, look no further. Current electric was on time (a first for me out of all the contractors I’ve ever used!) friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and kind.

They went out of their way to make everything perfect, and made sure they knew exactly how we wanted everything done. I actually feel a huge sense of relief because with any future lighting projects, I know exactly who I’ll be calling. I couldn’t have a higher opinion of them.

And seriously, when they say they’ll be there at 8am, they’ll ACTUALLY BE THERE AT 8am!! What a treat.

Current Electric’s customer service, punctuality, honesty and knowledge are unmatched. We just finished 3+ months of renovations on our home and dealt with all manner of unsavory construction tactics — contractors and vendors who quote one price only to increase it later, double charging for the same work, etc. Current Electric is the exception — they arrive when they say they will, charge what they quote even if it takes more elbow grease (or something unexpected comes up, and, if we are being honest, when doesn’t something unexpected come up in construction and home repair?), are kind and honest about the nature of the problem and give effective solutions. We worked specifically with Dylan who braved 25 degree cold for over 2.5 hours to diagnose and resolve some outdoor electrical issues. Dylan also fixed an indoor lighting issue in about 5 minutes that our contractor’s electrician couldn’t figure out after 2 visits. If you are looking for an electrician you can absolutely trust, Current Electric is the answer.

The electrician came on time, looked over the circuit board, fixed the burned out one, tightened all the loose ones and was done in 30 minutes. Very satisfied.

I am having kitchen renovations done and called Current for help with some electrical issues. Eric came out and realized there were some logistical matters that needed addressing before he could do his work. He and Bob were totally accommodating and so helpful about rescheduling around our counter installers on another day this week. They made it so easy and I felt so relieved by their kindness and professionalism during a very stressful week! Highest praise for Current Electrical! Thank you!!!

I don't normally write reviews, but I definitely recommend this contractor. We needed a 240 line run quickly to replace a failing water heater, and they were available within 1 hour of our HVAC contractor's request to do the work. We reviewed the scope and, thinking they would be back in a couple of days, Andy came in with his tools and got to work fishing wire and rewiring breakers, finishing the job in under an hour and a half. On his way out he installed a GFI outlet in the kitchen for me in about 8 minutes. We'll have them back to do some additional work - I rarely have a contractor like that - immediately jump in, know exactly what was needed, and just get it done at a reasonable price. No nonsense, professional, fast, and knowledgeable.

Tom did an amazing job. He got our old outlets working again. He even took on a last minute addition with the same level of professionalism as the rest of the project. I would highly recommend Current Electrical and definitely Tom!

I'm happy to share a five-star review for Current Electric. They sent Ovi to assist us with a light switch issue at our home. What stood out was the company's clear and timely communication ahead the visit. Scheduling was a breeze. Ovi was right on time, and his approach was both effective and friendly. He swiftly identified and resolved the issue while explaining the problem and its solution in easy-to-understand terms. Overall, we're extremely pleased with the service provided by Current Electric and Ovi.

Current sent a very professional knowledgeable electrician that showed up exactly on time. He not only did the job very efficiently, but was very pleasant to deal with and put tarps down, and brought his own broom and dustpan and cleaned up perfectly. I really like this company and will always call them. I would recommend them to anybody.

I don't do many reviews but these guys were great! My AC died last week. A really hot week! I called them and they came the next day and fixed the issue in my main electric panel, cleaned up, and charged me what they quoted me! I would totally recommend these guys.

I had a large job, needed to upgrade from original 1958 panel to 2023 standards. I talked with 3 electrical contractors. Current was the most knowledgeable about what to do, they handled every aspect from permits to install and inspection. Very professional, experienced, respectful, on time, prepped and cleaned up.

As an interior designer, I place great importance in quality service, professionalism and attention to detail. I have worked with Current Electric for over 10 years and trust them and value them as one of our go to vendors. We are very happy with Current Electical! They have been servicing our electrical needs in both our home and my office. They are always very timely, stay within the estimate, and work neat and clean to where you can't even tell they did work in your place. Arrived on time and were very professional. Paul replaced a thermostat for a heated floor and tested/reset heater for steam shower. He confirmed everything was working properly before he left. Making the appointment was easy and office staff were friendly. The confirmation emails/texts were helpful. Would definitely use Current Electric in the future.

Highly recommend Current Electrical Contractors. Added a secondary service panel, meter, an EV charger and rewired the garage. All work done on time and per their quote. Explained the process and followed the project from start to finish - needed multiple approvals and had to coordinate with ComEd. Able to troubleshoot and deal with issues as they arose - a special thank you to Arek who was most helpful throughout. Would use them again for any project - they have the know how and do things the correct way.

One of the best experiences with a contractor I can remember.

Eric walked me through the Tesla wall charger and the scope of work, warning the pipe would have to be painted/covered to look good, and I agreed.

I was quoted a couple weeks out, and a fair price compared to what other Tesla owners were charged by other contractors

Their installers Movie and Even, came out on time, warned me about the cosmetic pipe issue a 2nd time, and finished earlier than promised.

Dylan and Ryan were very professional and the install looks great! They were very accommodating when we realized we wanted an install that was a bit more complicated than the one we originally had in mind. I would definitely recommend Current for anyone looking to install a home EV charger.

Current Electric handled all of the electric when we built our home 12+ years ago. They did a great job. Since we moved in we have had many occasions to use Current for new projects and improvements we have made. New lights, hanging fixtures, adding outlets and many other small and large projects. Every one we work with is very nice and professional. Electricians we worked with 12 years ago are still with the firm. Their staff is well trained, trustworthy and very competent. They are quick to respond to an e-mail or call. Every appointment they have been on-time and cleaned up extremely well.

We used Current Electrical quite a few years ago for another lighting project, and we were pleased with their work, but today's experience was amazing! We needed a dimmer put in, and Mike Storino was at our house completing the task 15 minutes after we placed the call!!! He was friendly, courteous, and obviously knew exactly what to do because he got the work done quickly and successfully! What a lovely guy! That's what I call great service!!!
