I will give Luis and team 7 Stars. Their Quote was the most competitive amongst the 6 I got. He is very professional and responds very quickly and does the work in timely manner. Luis and his team are very professional and they know what they are doing. They cut two big trees for us without damaging our property and cleaned up everything before they left. I will definitely recommend them and hire them again in future.

We recently moved into a house with an overgrown garden and needed to remove several crowded and sickly trees and shrubs. We got a card for Buddy’s Tree Service from a local lawn service guy. We called and made an appointment for an estimate. He came out in 3 days. We discussed what needed to be removed, as well as the gas and electric lines. (REMINDER: Call JULIE before digging at 8-1-1. They normally come in 1–3 days.) He said they could come back in 3 days to do the work. They called 2 days later to say they were free a day early, if we preferred. They arrived and got right to work. I asked if they knew about the gas lines and what needed to go. They knew everything that needed to be done and even reminded me of one tree that I had forgotten about. I went to remind them to chip the pile we had bundled and it was already gone! They removed 10 large shrub stumps/roots, removed and chipped 3 diseased trees and 3 overgrown bushes, ground down the roots and stumps, cleaned up all debris, and put our patio furniture back—all in about an hour. The supervisor put a mask on to collect payment (which was probably less than the cost of the stickers we would have needed for the Village to remove everything). They were unbelievably fast, affordable, knowledgeable and professional. Several shrubs surrounded cable, gas and electric lines and they were very careful. I highly recommend Buddy’s Tree Service, they exceeded all expectations. We will definitely call them again.

Luis was quick to respond to the give us an estimate. Their pricing was very reasonable. They made a tricky job (tall tree right next to power lines) look like a piece of cake! They cleaned up the yard when they were done and were wonderful to work with. Couldn’t recommend enough!

I met with owner (and 3 other local businesses) a week ago. I chose Luis Mendoza, owner of Buddy’s Tree Service, partly because of price but mostly because of professionalism, intimate knowledge of difficult removals (close to my son’s home and power sources) and experience. As a point of reference, I’ve overseen the removal of more than 45 twenty yo established trees for our neighborhood and church so I recognize a superior company and pricing. 6 men were on our job for 5 hours - no wasted motion (see pics on their website posted 1/14/22) carefully taking down five 32 yo Silver Oaks some uncomfortably close to home or between fencing and utility boxes. A+++ to Luis (who was on-sight the entire time) and his crew!

Buddy's Tree Service has worked at my home on several occasions. Luis the owner is fair in his pricing and they do EXCELLENT WORK.

Besides tree removal they have done stump grinding, delivered wood chip mulch for my garden, and also have done some Bob-Cat work on my property.

Luis and his team work hard and do a great job cleaning up chip debris as part of their job.

Luis and his team are very professional and do an awesome job. The tree service is very reasonable and when they leave my yard is cleaned and put back together! I highly recommend this service to anyone looking for tree removal and trimming. You will not be disappointed!

We had a limb fall down that we needed removed pretty quickly since we are in the process of selling our house. Luis was out here within 4 hours to give us an estimate and they had it removed (for 1/2 the price another company quoted us) 2 days after that! Amazing service - we'll definitely be using them again for any landscaping/tree needs!!

Quick and easy service for some storm damage downed limbs. Cleaned up nicely and better price than another quote I got.

I would highly recommend Buddy's tree service. I live in Bartlett IL and had them do 3 tree in my backyard all of them were over 50ft tall. Not only did they do a awesome job trimming my trees but they clean up and did everything they promised when they came out for the quote and estimate. They also provide me a quote by email very quickly after they came out to my house along with proof of insurance. I plan on using them for all of my tree needs in the future. It nice to work with a company you can trust and that does a great job at the time they promise to do it on. thanks buddy's tree!

They did a great job cutting my tree down and for a reasonable price

Working with Buddy's tree service was excellent! Luis was very friendly and professional! I had a big willow tree that was damaged from a storm and needed most of the tree taken off
They did an excellent job on the tree and a terrific job cleaning up all the mess, my yard was spotless when they were done. Their prices are excellent compared to other tree services

If we could give a million star review, we would! Luis and his crew are absolutely amazing. With the recent storm/ tornado we were given Luis' name via a recommendation by a neighbor , we gave him a call for a quote on a massive tree we have that broke in numerous places. He came right over and gave us a very reasonable quote for what we needed done. When they came a few days later for the job, it was like watching the calvary come in heading down the street! They as a team the went into action by forming their plan on how to perform the work. We watched them in amazement, it was like watching a well choreograph dance with how they tackled this tree. When they were finished, the clean up they did was also amazing! You would never know how much they removed! We highly recommend Buddy's Tree Service!

Buddy's Tree Service was god sent. They are very professional, great quality of work and very reasonable.

Luis and his team are great to work with. I have hired them on three separate occasions. One for trimming three trees in my backyard; the second was for removal of a tree and the third was also removal of a tree. Unbeatable price for each job done. I will be hiring him again for landscaping work.

At the very least, get a quote from him, you will be surprised and the work is good quality as well as clean up. I won't use anyone else now that I found them. Love these guys!!

I highly recommend Luis and his crew. We had a large tree that needed to come down due to a storm. Luis came out to give us a quote and less than 24 hours later he and his crew were at our home to take down the tree. His price was extremely responsible, their work was fantastic, very professional and super nice.

We called Buddy's Tree Service and Luis was at our door within a couple of hours. Gave us a great price and could do the job the next day! We had 2 large ash trees removed along with an area of brush and small bushes. They guys did a great job in all aspects- speed, courtesy, and cleanup. I would highly recommend Buddy's for your tree service needs!

My husband requested a quote on a Saturday evening and Luis came out the next day. He provided the best quote out of the other 2 companies we contacted, and he took down 2 large trees and some smaller weed trees that same week. We are very happy with the professionalism, quality, timeliness, and the fair pricing Luis provided. We will be calling again sometime in the near future for the next job. Thank you!

I would highly recommend Buddy's tree service. They were very professional and reasonably priced compared to their competitors. Luis and team did a great job cutting and trimming down large trees over 50ft. They were very professional and conscious about their workspace to ensure they cleaned up very well in my yard as well as the streets and neighbors yards around me. We needed a tree to be cut down in our front yard. The crew was responsive and very efficient. They provided a competitive pricing and addressed all our questions and concerns. It was great that we were able to support a local company! Highly recommend.

I don't even remember how I got the referral to Buddy's Tree Service, but it is one of the best referrals I have ever received! I reached out to them and within 4 hours had a call back from the owner. We agreed for him to stop over and look at what our needs were the next day. He sized up the operation, gave me a quote and then later in the day sent me the quote via email, along with a certificate of insurance for his work.

I had two trees in a shared property line that had died. The owner asked that I get my neighbor to sign-off on approval to remove the two trees.

Within two days, the owner, his crew and equipment showed up for the job. It took less than four hours (and these were large trees), including full stump removal.

They are PROFESSIONALS! The professionalism and teamwork they exhibited was fantastic!!! They completely cleaned up their work and I am most pleased with the outcome.

Price was most reasonable and fair. I hope I can remember them if we ever need this type of work again, as they are wonderful people to work with!!!

This was the second time in 2 years that I had downed/damaged trees after a storm, and both times Buddy's Tree Service was outstanding. Luis is very fast to respond, stopped by first thing the next day to assess damage, provide a quote, and schedule the work. The crew was efficient and professional, and cleaned up so nicely you can hardly tell they were here (even swept up the twigs in the street). Despite the fast response and great workmanship, the pricing was still more than fair both times.

Honestly, I cannot recommend these guys enough. I've recommended them to 2 other people in the past and both have been just as satisfied with the results as I am.
