Finally had our lights installed and they look amazing! Very happy for this investment as all of our holidays can now be fully lit!

Customer service for repairs or problems with the TrimLights is terrible. I requested on 9/22/25 a service call the controller isn’t working - I was told service was 2 weeks out but would get a call. I followed up with an email 9/26 & 10/2. Just keep getting the same answer someone will call. On 10/6 I received a call saying they could come 10/31. So I went from 2 weeks out to 6 weeks waiting. This is unacceptable - you can sell the product but can’t service in a timely manner and this is the second controller to go bad.

AN UPDATE TO MY SERVICE PROBLEM

I received a call from Patrick who owns the company - he was very concerned that it had taken so long to get someone to confirm a service time and apologized it had taken this long to get on the schedule. Pat arranged to have someone come out the day he called and replace my controller. I appreciate him getting involved and it showed me TrimLight Chicago dies care about their customers.

UDATE: 2 years later and we used Revive again for a whole house landscape. I absolutely love how it turned out! The design is exactly how I imaged and unique. The crew was helpful, hard working, and made the adjustments to certain plant locations as I asked. They finished the work in two days and the yard was spotless when they left. Very pleased!

We recently had sod work done and could not be happier with the results. The team was friendly and properly prepped the yard. They made sure not to hit our cable lines in the prep process. The edges of the sod are tight and the grass is high quality. We will be using them again for all of our landscape needs!

I had the trim lights installed on my home. Dominic was an excellent salesperson and explained everything very well. Monika and Irma were extremely helpful in getting everything finalized. I met with Ana who gave me a tutorial on the app. She explained everything in detail and offered ways that I can get help with the app should I have questions in the future. This was an easy process and I would highly recommend Revive Your Lawn & Trimlight to neighbors and family. Thank you for a flawless experience.

The sales rep, Ricardo, was awesome to work with. Very flexible and responsive to our needs. The installers did a very professional job. They cleaned up every little piece when they were finished. Looked immaculate. The lights are the talk of our neighborhood. Everyone is in awe when they see them.

(UPDATED after reply below) While the sales experience was good, and management understands what makes up a good french drain, the install process had several mistakes. The install team used materials and methods that were not in the approved sales contact and not suitable for french drains. These were corrected in the field when I pointed out the contract requirements to the install team. It did take extra time on both sides to resolve.

After being contacted by the owner and explaining what happened, the contract issues were acknowledged and resolved.

I am very happy with Trimlight Chicago. I love that I can program the display not only the colors I want but how they are displayed and when they start and when they turn off.
It is such a relief to no longer be up on ladder and dealing with cold weather. Now we can display for all the holidays not just Christmas. And you can't see them in the daylight.

I had permanent light installation from Trimlight. Every step of the process from the proposal to installation and walkthrough of the app were done in a timely and professional manner. Very nice and helpful staffs. Highly recommend.

July 2024 Update

The drain line was blocked by a root build up from nearby evergreens. I contacted the office, and they cleaned it out 2 days later. Also, recommended adding additional catch basins for easier clean-out in the future, which I did.

Very pleased with the work done, and the fast response.

Our experience with Revive Your Lawn & Trimlight Chicago has been very positive. They installed a drainage line for our sump pump into the city storm sewer, and connected drains from low spots in the yard and from 2 downspouts. The work is done professionally, and ground repairs are done well.

They also installed 4 Chanticleer Pear trees in our backyard, with surrounding finely ground brown mulch ground cover, and landscape lighting. Absolutely beautiful! They seeded necessary places in front of the landscaped areas, and even in other areas of the lawn where they noticed it was needed.

We had a couple of issues with how some of the work was done, so we contacted them, and they were very responsive in coming back out and making the corrections we requested.

Overall, we are very pleased with the work Revive Your Lawn & Trim Light Chicago has completed for us. Their salesman, Mitch Burns, was great to work with for planning the project, and their operations staff did a great job keeping us informed about when the work was being done. It took about 3-4 weeks after signing the contract for them to start. The work team was very nice and responsive to all of our requests. One of them told my wife that they want to make sure the customer is pleased, and that's all that matters. They definitely earn the 5 Star rating!

I love my new Trimlights. Connor was very helpful in explaining everything to me before I purchased. The install team were very nice and neat. Everything was cleaned up when they were done. The lights look great!

We had an appointment with Dominic from Trimlight on Monday, September 29, 2025, and the experience was outstanding. Dominic was not only very informative and professional, but also incredibly relatable—a true family guy who made us feel comfortable right away. He answered every question thoroughly and presented everything in a fun, engaging way.

Within just 30 minutes, Dominic had taken all the necessary measurements and provided us with a clear cost estimate. Thanks to his efficiency and knowledge, we were able to make a confident decision and move forward with putting down our deposit.

Our installation was completed that same week on Friday, October 3, 2025, which was impressive! The process from start to finish has been seamless, simple, and stress-free. We’re especially excited to meet with the Trimlight rep who will personally walk us through the app and help us start creating the light shows of a lifetime.

We had our permanent lighting system installed about one week ago. It was one of the best experiences we have had. From the first phone call we were met with professional caring people. The office people, thank you to Ms. Monika Whitley listen and provided my requests. I do not like high pressured salespeople and they sent my perfect match in Ricardo. He met us on time, explained the product perfectly, measured our home and set the wheels in motion for the installation team. No high-pressured conversations. The installation team came on time, did a perfect installation job, cleaned the area and after the installation and set up the app my phone. Unbelievable, Ricardo did a follow up call to be sure we were pleased with the product and the procedure. The system is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, we have received numerous compliments. IF I could, I would give 10 stars, starting with the office personnel. If you are "thinking" of installing this system stop thinking and just do it. You will be very happy you did. I worked with Ricardo for my Trimlight install and he was amazing from start to finish. He walked me through different lighting options, was super patient with all my requests, and really brought my vision to life. He even came back out after the install to help with zoning and make sure everything was perfect. We’re already adding more lights because we love how it turned out. Highly recommend, he’s your go to guy!
