During a tile project, our tile guy accidentally cut through a line of conduit in the floor, cutting power to half the house. Called Kevin and he was onsite in less than two hours, replaced the damaged section of conduit and rewired the whole thing in less than two hours more. All for a very reasonable price and with a smile the whole time. Can’t recommend him more - very glad I ran across his ad on Google. Thanks Kevin!

I could not be more pleased with Kevin and his team at Excellent Electric. Last year, I had another "reputable" company come and try to update our 115 year old house's electric. After multiple mistakes, subpar work, and general discontent with their service, I reached out to Kevin. Kevin was at my house within a week and corrected the mistakes left behind by the other company. My wife was extremely appreciative that he fixed a short going to the fan on our front porch, while I was pleased with the other updates (installed GFCI, light, and new conduit in the basement.) Kevin took the time to explain to me exactly what needed to be done and how he was going to do it. Kevin's estimate was beyond fair for the amount of work and time he spent at my house. I will continue to use Kevin and his team for my electric needs. I fully recommend him.

I highly recommend Excellent Electric. I had two exterior outlets that were not working and I have Christmas Lights to hang. I called Kevin at Excellent Electric and told him my problem and he and his son met me at my house the same day to fix the issue. They diagnosed the problem. The two exterior outlets were set on old timers that were no longer connected. Once he connected the outlets so they would have power. Once the outlets had power he replaced them both (Upgraded)so that they were grounded outlets. I also had them put a new outlet on the exterior of my garage while they were there so I can string some exterior patio lights. The whole job was very affordable. I will be calling Kevin again to help me out with some interior electrical upgrades. Five Stars All The Way!!!

Contacted Kevin from Excellent Electric to get a quote on installing recessed lights in my living room and kitchen. Kevin quickly replied to my request and set up a time to come out and assess the work the needed to be done and provide a quote. He was on time, listened to my ideas about updating my lighting and said he would put together an estimate and email it out later that evening. I received the estimate as promised and found the estimate to be very reasonable for the amount of work needed. I have plaster ceilings which made the job a bit more difficult. I contacted Kevin, we discussed the quote and agreed on a date to start get the work started. It took 2 visits to complete all the work and I changed plans and added work after they started without any complaints or issues. Quality of the work was excellent and Kevin was great to work with. Highly recommend!

Highly recommended! When the power to our hot tub went out on a cold day, Kevin was super responsive by phone, came out to our house in Elmhurst in less than an hour (on a Sunday, of all days!), and had our hot tub working in no time. Professional, punctual, reliable, and reasonably priced. Happy to have a new go-to electrician!

I had Kev and Cody come out to install three ceiling fans. They did an excellent job and came out when they said they would. They explained the whole process and worked their schedule with the painter so it was all done in a short period of time. I would highly recommend using Excellent Electric.

I would most definitely use this business again for any electrical repair and would recommend to anyone not to hesitate to reach out for any of your electrical needs. I sent them a message as to my issue - old kitchen ceiling fan had issues - light bulb blew out and couldn't remove the other bulbs as well. It was a very old ceiling fan. I heard back a response from the owner Kevin via email within like an hour and a half already making arrangements to come out the next day around noon to replace the old ceiling fan with a new one that I purchased that next morning in preparation of him coming. Kevin was excellent with communication from the start and gave me a text follow-up also when he was in route to my house. He was so courteous and nice to work with. He was finished with the removal of my old ceiling fan/lights and new installation super timely within like an hour and 15 minutes. I feel that his fees for coming out and for my electrical job were more than fair. He was very neat while working and went over the light functions and types of bulbs best used. I wish all repairs that you needed done out there in life could have this type of experience and awesome work ethic. Definitely a reflection of the company name, "Excellent Electric".

Had an outlet that started popping then smoked. Called Kevin and he was able to come same day to investigate and replace the outlet. Great service. Will use again.

Kevin came out on short notice and gave a quote within 15 mins of calling. Then came that same weekend with Cody and knocked out a lot of work in a few hours. They did recessed lighting, outlets, and new fixtures. All quickly and efficiently while being humorous and fun. Highly recommend.

Kevin at Excellent Electric is amazing! I had called Kevin about 4 months when I was experiencing an issue and he walked me through the whole thing over the phone - at no charge. His assumption was correct, and I was able to get the issue resolved with comEd. Fast forward to yesterday when I has having similar issues, and Kevin was able to come early this morning and easily diagnose and solve the issue. Kevin is awesome, truly! I recently moved into a new house in the burbs and per our inspector, we needed some GFCI outlets installed and/or replaced. I did a simple search on Google and took a chance on Excellent Electric, and can confidently say after working with him that Kevin’s officially gonna be our guy for any future projects we need help with.

When I called, he was able to stop by within a few hours to assess what needed to be done. He was upbeat and friendly and I was comforted knowing this process would go smoothly. Afterward, he then sent me the pricing and broke it down line-by-line so I could understand what I was being charged for. I appreciated this very much!

Soon after that he came by again to fix those outlets. He showed up earlier than expected and got started right away, then afterward he showed me the work he did, which again comforted me and assured me that the work had been done right.

Before he left, I asked him to take a look at something else, a light switch that suddenly stopped working the night before he showed up. He took a quick look and determined the issue right away (the switch needed to be required), and fixed it within minutes. Very impressed!

Kevin is absolutely fantastic! My husband and I contacted Kevin to make some upgrades to an older home with several two prong outlets. He came out that same day and provided us with a detailed quote. His pricing is very fair and we were able to add on some of our “down the road” projects as well.
