I called Mr Electric after calling a few companies in the area to get an EV charger installed. They were able to beat price from the competition. They were very professional, on time and their customer service skills were excellent. I will highly recommend them.

Scott Patterson did an outstanding job. My EV charger outlet was heating up, and Scott quickly identified and resolved the issue by installing a proper outlet specifically designed for EV chargers, something the previous installers had neglected to do. He handled everything with great professionalism. I was initially skeptical due to a less-than-great experience with Mr. Electric of Naperville in the past, but Scott exceeded my expectations. He was knowledgeable, professional, and very helpful throughout the process. Highly recommended!

I called them to have a ceiling fan installed. They were able to come out the same day and provided the cost to install the fan. They were very courteous when coming in they covered their shoes and vacuumed all the debris. I would definitely recommend this company for anybody looking for electrical needs.

I had a transfer switch installed so I can power my home via a generator during an outage. Scott initially quoted the job and returned with Sergio to install at a later date. They were both very professional, respectful, yet very approachable and easy to work with. Overall the experience was great. I will definitely use Mr. Electric for my future electrical needs.

Mr. Electric had to work on our quad building, working for my neighbor, but needing access to my garage unit. I was so impressed with Scott and his knowledge that I kept his info. Scott did a great job of installing our Govee lights. He worked in the cold and into the darkness trying to finish them. Our electrician Ivan, with Mr. Electric did an amazing job installing new fire alarms and bathroom fan. He was very thorough and worked in a timely manner. Angel, was great about calling and letting us know when Ivan was going to arrive. I will definitely be using this company again.

Mr. Electric was responsive, easy to work with, and offered a reasonable price. Ivan, the electrician assigned to our project, was courteous and took time to listen to and investigate our concerns. He and his team did a nice job replacing our older panel and breakers and installing an electric vehicle charger.

I had a good experience with Mr. Electric, and the technician, Sergio, was very pleasant and professional! He came in, completed the installations, and left the areas clean and neat when he finished!

The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because I had one appointment scheduled a week earlier, but they called the same day of the appointment to find out if I could move my time up and when I could not, they rescheduled the appointment all together. Unfortunately, I had already rearranged my personal schedule to accommodate the original appointment time — which resulted in an unnecessary inconvenience.

Ivan and his team did an excellent job installing my EV charger! He came out on a Wednesday for a quote and installed it the next Monday. They had to cut some drywall in the basement (which I knew had to be done) but it was all done seamlessly and no mess. I would recommend Ivan @ Mr Electric to anyone wanting to get an EV charger installed. Competitive pricing and excellent service!

Erik (tech) kept us informed on each step in the process. Showed us pictures of every step and explained everything in detail. Very friendly and easy to communicate with. Very punctual with replies. Scott Patterson was wonderful. He came out and focused on making my electrical issues safe again. Had some burnt up wires and outlets, along with some faulty wiring. He took into consideration the power i was pulling and replaced my breakers with appropriate ones for my usage. I have other jobs that I will be calling them back to help me with, no question. I knew I could trust him right away based on all the insight he had on my issues and solutions for my problems almost immediately. He takes pride in what he does and I can appreciate that.

Scott p. Originally came to give a quote to fix a code violation from a previous election from a different company and was extremely knowledgeable and polite . Amidst my frustration with an ongoing issue he completely gave me confidence in trusting again . We had the BEST experience. First off- our work was emergent. They came the next day, assessed, gave us a great price and we scheduled it ASAP. We had water coming out of our main electrical breaker ( scary and dangerous), and they fixed it all and replaced what needed to be replaced. Sergio, Scott , Carlos, and Bob were all amazing. Scott specifically explained things to us in a manner that we could understand as this is all very stressful. Sergio was there both days and was so knowledgeable. They were all so kind and great. Thank you all so much!

After meeting with a couple of different electricians to get estimates on upgrading our breaker panel to 200A and installing a 60A EV charger, we decided to go with Mr. Electric and couldn’t have been happier.

Throughout all phases of the project (consultation, planning, implementation) our master electrician Scott was patient with all of our questions and more importantly honest - never tried to upsell anything but instead talked us through where we could save costs and pros and cons of a particular option.

His crew (Matt and Carlos) were detail oriented and asked questions to make sure they were installing things the way I wanted.

5 star experience top to bottom. Had Mr. Electric out to run a 240v line to the garage and install an EV charger. Went perfectly and I’m super happy with the experience. From setting the initial appointment to the actual install (shout out to Ivan C who was awesome), everything went smoothly and professionally.

They’ll be my go-to electricians if I ever need one again.
