Tree reviews in McCook, Illinois

I can't express what a good company Sinnott Tres Service is. Nicole came out to give me an estimate on trimming up a couple of over grown birch trees and arborvitaes I have in the backyard. She was honest, fair and the nicest person. She was a recommendation from my neighbor and I would highly recommend them as well.
Nicole I can't thank you enough. I wish you all the best. I will definitely call you for future work!

Mack was very professional and knowledgeable when he came out to give an estimate. Once we accepted his offer, he had scheduled to come out in 2 days. Safety is his biggest priority and his crew is very timely and cautious. In 5 hours, they had 7 trees down, chipped, and debris removed. Both properties were unharmed and they did a phenomenal job! A rain storm didn't even stop them. Great price for amazing work! I'm so happy we chose Sinnott for this big job!

Had a pine tree fall over during this recent cold snap. In my AND my neighbor's yards. Many other removal services came out, but Nicole of Sinnott came out that night, gave me an estimate, suggested I might save $$ by contacting the power, cable and phone companies since their wires could be involved. Unfortunately, all 3 utilities passed on removing the tree. Since their bid was reasonable and she suggested a cost savings, I gave the job to Sinnott. Once warmer, Nicole and crew came out and quickly and carefully removed the tree and branches. Great job!

Outstanding work, true professionals! Nicole and her team did a wonderful job! Clean, safe, respectful of neighbors, and very knowledgeable! Highly recommend to everyone!! Look no further, call Nicole!

I highly recommend speaking with Mack and his team when considering any tree services.

Sinnott Tree Services removed three trees on a newly purchased property in 60154. Mack, the owner promptly visited the property to provide the free estimate to remove the Silver Maple, Willow and Bucktorn trees in our backyard. He explained his safety policies and provided his proof of insurance. He scheduled his team in less than a week of initial contact. The Sinnott Tree Service team were friendly and worked well together.

I recently used their services, and I am extremely satisfied with their work. The team was professional, skilled, and efficient in removing a large tree from my property. They took great precautions to ensure the safety of everyone involved and carefully executed the removal without causing any damage. The cleanup was thorough, and they left my yard looking clean and tidy. I highly recommend them for their expertise, professionalism, and exceptional customer service. They made a potentially daunting task seem effortless as it took them less than 3 hours to do! I am grateful for their top-notch service and will definitely seek them out again. I just had a great experience with using this company for a tree removal in our back yard. Nicole came out and explained how everything would go. On the day of tree removal everything went as explained. Their team was very professional and cleaned up the work site when they were done. I would highly recommend them to anyone without a doubt!

Very pleased with Mack and his crew. Their price was reasonable and their work professional. We have a small back yard that involved having to work from the neighbors property. He took the time, before getting the job, to speak with the neighbors and address their concerns. Fantastic job removing all the debris and cleaning up. Would definitely recommend Sinnott Tree Service.

We have a Mulberry weed tree in our backyard that is massive and needed trimming because it was starting to take over our neighbors garage and was resting on their power lines. Nicole came out to give us an estimate with great recommendations on how they would trim it and gave us a competitive quote. They had an available slot to trim it the same day so we booked it and they did a fantastic job! The whole crew did such a good job trimming it and cleaning up you couldn't even tell they were there. We were super happy with their services and will use them again for sure! Thanks Nicole and team!

Sinnott is the best. Outstanding, conscientious crew that go the extra mile to make sure they are doing the work that's best for your valuable trees and landscape. We've been a Sinnott customer for years now. Always enjoy working with crew chief Nicole, she is very efficient and knowledgeable

From start to finish, Sinnott Tree Services was a dream to work with. They came out as soon as I called them for an estimate. I didn't have to chase them down like some other companies. Their pricing was competitive with four other quotes I received. Mack was responsive and easy to communicate with. The day of the job they showed up with a huge crew and were able to take two very old (150 years old) Oak trees out in a clean and efficient manner - no trace of either tree left behind. One of the Oak trees was in a precarious place between two houses, so I want a professional service to remove it and Sinnott Tree Services did a great job. I would highly recommend them!

Amazing work! If you’re looking for reliable, professional, and efficient tree care, look no further. From the moment I reached out to them, their team was incredibly responsive and knowledgeable. They came out for an estimate promptly and provided a clear breakdown of the work required, making the entire process stress-free.
The crew was punctual, well-equipped, and worked great together to tackle the job. I was truly impressed by their attention to detail and the quality of their work.
They’ve earned my trust, and I’ll definitely be calling them again in the future!

I had a tree removal and a new one planted. Nicole, from estimate to job completion and follow up visit, was professional, prompt, and friendly. Her level of care for the task was evident in all of her actions toward the goal of serving us well.
The new tree seems to be doing well and she promised to come back again just to check on it. I highly recommend them.

Nicole was exceptional in providing a very competitive quote. Her and her crew did a wonderful job removing a tree in our side yard. To my wife's delight keeping me from trying to do it myself. Removed tree, stump and did a great job cleaning up after. Would highly recommend for any project in the future that would require the services they provide.

Sinnott was great. Fair price for sure. We had another company provide an estimate (higher than Sinnott) and telling us our fence would have to come down in order to remove the tree (this is a more well-known company in the area). Sinnott did NOT need to take the fence down - they had all the professional large equipment and were amazing. Made quick work of our large pine tree. Recommend them.

Recommendation for Sinnott Tree Services located in McCook This company has been around a long time.

We had three large dead trees in our backyard. Being prudent, we shopped around since we knew this would not be a cheap project.. The bids were across the board, from $2300 to $9000.

Finally, my husband, who is in the construction trade, told me to get an estimate from Sinnott. He has known the company for many years. Their bid was right in the middle. But the thing that really sold me was that an arborist (tree specialist) came out to do the estimate. In addition to the tree cutting, we showed them some branches we wanted cut down on other trees and were told that it would be very bad for the trees to have done now, it needs to be in the fall so as not to damage the existing tree. No one else told me that. They were just going to cut them down.

A group of 4 very polite men came to do the job. They had all of the equipment needed, including a crane and a lift. Two of the trees were very tall and none of the others had that equipment. They were going to climb the trees..

My stumps were ground and everything was cleaned up very well.

You might get someone cheaper but not as good.

That's it. Just wanted to share.

Super pleased with Sinnott. They were responsive, pleasant and cost effective (believe me I called everywhere!). Mack and his crew arrived exactly when they said they would and took down our sadly deceased 30+ ft Norway Maple in less than two hours and picked up all the little branches that came down as well. Can’t recommend enough. Make the call

Sinnott Tree Service is the best. Mack and team are the consummate professionals. For over 25 years, Sinnott has handled large and small jobs at our home. Their tree removal prices are fair and the service is exceptional. Sinnott’s massive crane allows them to make short work of all tree removal. Sinnott has also planted and replanted trees and shrubs; all of which are thriving. Our yard is spotless after each job.

This is the second time we have used Sinnott Tree Service and they do not disappoint. We bought a new house and needed many trees removed to make the yard usable. It was no problem for Sinnott, they are professional and efficient with a fair price. Do not hesitate to call Sinnott if you need their services.

Sinnott is GREAT. They were all hard working and cared about our property and their own safety. They were all excited about using their new equipment! I loved that Nicole was the one up in the bucket and was the crew leader.

They did a fantastic job with removing a tree in a difficult location and with cleaning up everything once it was completed. Nicole was great to work with and also gave us a very fair price for the removal of one tree and the pruning of the other trees around our home. I've already recommended them to several others and I'll definitely be using them in the future!
