Reviews of local pros in Morris, Illinois

Thank you SKV Tree Service for your excellent work cutting down our old & very tall dying Choke Cherry tree! SKV Tree Service was very friendly, efficient, conscientious, safe, provided excellent communication, and reasonably priced! We really appreciate all your work! Very impressive & we highly recommend SKV Tree Service!

SKV did a great job of safely removing a large Ash tree dying in our front yard next to our driveway. They were professional and very quick. Left the yard and driveway so clean you would never know they were there. Would definitely use again and recommend for any or your tree/shrub needs. Thanks guys, great work!

SKV Tree Service did a really great job coming out and removing a couple very large branches that were hanging over our 4 season room. With the right equipment and knowledge they got the job done in a couple of hours. Everything was totally cleaned up and chipped and blown off. It’s almost like they weren’t here. I’ll recommended them to any in need of tree removal. Thanks guys!

Cole and Seth (and pops too lol) were great! Very, very professional. They did a great efficient job cutting trimming and shaping my trees at a couple different locations I own.
I’m pretty familiar with. Booms, buckets, loaders, etc. And the mess they can make. They limited there “footprint”, no damage to any grass, cleaned up and blowed all debris away. I have a few other properties that I’m going to have them tidy up.
There backyard machine (lift) is state of the art! I’m an old lineman and boy I wished we had this equipment 40 years ago!

I reached out to SKV Tree Service by means of their website. I filled out some info and the got back to me quickly. We scheduled an on site visit so they could look at the 3 apple trees we wanted removed. I got the quote the next day and agreed to their very reasonable pricing (1/2 the price of the one other quote we got. My in-laws used SKV & were happy with them so they referred them to me.) They told me what day they’d be out and the appointment was set. They did have to reschedule once, for 4 days later than the original appointment but I had no problem with that at all. They estimated it would take them about 2 hours and they were done within 1 1/2 to 2 hours! I was totally impressed by their efficiency and the clean up! These were 3 Apple trees, in August! Full of hundreds of apples! The clean up was so impressive! We also had them grind all 3 stumps down. I just keep using the words efficient and impressive because that’s what they are! And very nice, easy to work with guys. I will definitely recommend them to others and if we need any more tree work, they will absolutely get the job! Thanks for a job well done SKV!

I had 5 trees pruned on my lot. SkV did an awesome job on my trees, they look great!!! The crew did an excellent job cleaning up the site as well. Everyone was very professional and the job was completed as promised at a great price.
I would highly recommend SKV tree service.

SKV Tree Service did an incredible job! A large tree fell across our backyard, hitting our fence and kids’ playset. SKV showed up with a full crew, multiple trucks, heavy equipment, and a chipper — and within two hours, the tree was gone, everything was cleaned up, and the site was safe again.

It was genuinely impressive to watch. Their team worked together seamlessly — no confusion, no wasted time, just a group of professionals who clearly knew what they were doing. They were quick, efficient, and careful every step of the way.

Highly recommend SKV Tree Service. The price was more than fair, and the quality of work speaks for itself. Posting pictures with this review so you can see the difference they made!

SKV is an amazing business to have remove trees from your property. I called, they came out to see what I needed done, sent me a quote and it was very reasonable. The work they do is completely professional and bring the equipment with them they need to use. Two of my trees were very close to my house, and while getting the branches off the trees, not one branch even hit the house. Once the three trees were down, two of the trees had the stumps removed as requested. These guys cleaned up my yard better than it was before they arrived. Great business, great guys, and would definitely call them again when I need other trees taken care of. They know their business 100%. Very Highly Recommended. 👍

good people to deal with

Great group of people at UCP.

Great staff very good service

They do a lot of innovation. Great members of the community.

They should put signs where trucks need to go, this lady said go all the way str8, lmao, I barely made the turn after, its simple just put signs 🤦‍♂️

First time here picking up with my Flatbed…. Check in went fine but after that everything about this place is a joke….. i followed instructions to wait by stop sign…. After 20 mins a guy in a pickup truck escorted me over to where I was supposed to load…. Sat there for 2 hours twiddling my thumbs…. Lots of non English speaking characters on forklifts running around there and nobody seemed to know who was supposed to load me…. Needless to say enough was enough and I wasn’t wasting anymore time….. got a load around the corner from Northfield Block where I’ve loaded at many times before and actually that load took me closer to my next load. Will not return to UCP ever again.
