The Kitchen Master

I have worked with Jennifer at The Kitchen Master on three projects over the past 18 years: full set of kitchen cabinets for a remodel, cabinet doors for a bathroom update, cabinets for a basement remodel. I know I'm getting better quality cabinets than what I could buy at a big box store. More important, the expertise of the designers at The Kitchen Master helps me avoid mistakes. I like to do some of the remodeling work myself, but I need help in picking out cabinets that will look good and meet our needs. Kitchen Master has been a perfect fit for us.

Last summer, upon deciding to remodel the kitchen and the bathrooms and after interviewing five companies, I went with The Kitchen Master and have never regretted the choice.
First, they have an impressive showroom, which not only features different designs and implementations, but, also, has a large selection of materials and hardware you can look at up-close.
Secondly, my first appointment was with the founder and the owner of the company, who has demonstrated sheer professional knowledge and the expertise. An extremely knowledgeable designer has been assigned to the project to help me navigate through all the phases of the remodeling and through all kinds of the available choices. All the prep work, which included taking the measurements, design, and work planning, has been done meticulously and in very thorough manner. Multiple craftsmen had stopped by to evaluate, clarify, and confirm the scope and the feasibility of the project details before the start of the work. The project manager assigned to oversee and coordinate the work at my house, on multiple occasions, has also demonstrated the highest level of knowledge of the construction/house remodeling business and expertise.
I have never had to leave a voicemail because there is always a person, who answers the phone. The project manager, the designer and the owner are always available. Also, the office is opened six days a week, which helps a lot when you need or want to discuss your project face-to-face. By the way, all the personnel are friendly, very helpful and, most importantly, are very patient explaining the intrinsic details of the work being done.
The company maintains a website for communicating the project's progress. That includes, but is not limited to, schedules, documents, financial information and just messages customers may want to send to the management. In my experience, the response has almost always been instantaneous.
All the people involved in the project demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and the expertise.
I cannot stress enough how happy I am knowing that my remodeling dreams are coming through. Although the work is still going, I want to give a happy customer's shout to this great company.

04/21/2023 UPDATE: A BIG shout out to the company again. The first phase of the project (a complete kitchen, laundry room an the powder room remodeling) has been completed on time despite some extra requests from the owner:) (Kudos to the project manager Tom M.) Phase No2 includes replacing the trim all over the house and a lot of painting. So, stay tuned for another update from the happy customer:)

We selected Kitchen Master after considering 2 other candidates. What stood out to us in making that decision is how their designer (Anna) took the time to navigate an unfamiliar area for us. The knowledge offered and time spent pre-decision was very very impressive.

Once the decision was made, we had heard from others about how the project timelines get extended [in this industry] and “get ready.” With Kitchen Master, nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, they had to expedite us! Their project manager (Tom) clearly communicates the dates and provided a schedule that he and his team adhered to the entire project duration (multiple weeks, involving multiple disciplines, subcontractors, city departments).

The project manager’s team, starting with Anthony, was very professional and quite patient with our incessant questions / curiosity. The team’s attention to detail and commitment to high quality and cleanliness were quite impressive.

We felt the support of the designer and project manager throughout the project. If we had any concerns - they made it easy to voice any hesitation / trepidation one might have with such an extensive undertaking.

Post project - we are absolutely delighted in what we have - a beautiful new kitchen, master bathroom, etc. that we thought would only be a dream.
