I contacted Hy -Tech to get new patio pavers, and I was very fortunate to have Steve K come to my home for the estimate .He was very professional and knowledgeable about the products and gave me his expertise in the paver and color choice...and also suggested the design. That really helped me make my decision . I knew I chose the right company to do the job.👍

I had a great experience with Steve, the Project Manager/Landscape Architect and the Pavebrite crew. Not only did they schedule my jobs earlier than I expected, they did an excellent job with extreme attention to detail. Steve kept me informed every step of the way, and the workers were polite, meticulous and friendly. They finished earlier than I expected, and did a nice clean-up before they left. The pavers look beautiful and really enhance my landscape.

Loving our new patio! Steve was great to work with, designing a great looking patio that works well with our house. Juan and his crew were very professional and knowledgeable. When they were finished the area was cleaned up and ready to use. We look forward to enjoying the space for years to come.

Steve and his team from Hy Tech made an amazing job last October 2024 on a paver brick patio project. We will hire them again this year for some more landscaping.

Hy-Tech Landscaping really went above and beyond on my front yard landscaping project. Steve (owner) was in regular communication with me on a daily basis keeping me well informed about the planned activities for the day and even the next day. Steve did an outstanding job supervising the project and was onsite daily and sometimes twice per day. It is very clear that Steve cares about making the customer happy and gives 110% and really cares about his business and his passion shines through.

Heather (Steve’s wife) was also on site twice supervising the electric and making sure everything was completed properly.

Steve was very receptive to my short punch list (and even added more than what I listed). Steve strives for perfection, has been in business for decades and if you are looking for a landscaping company for any sized project, I really struggle on how you would find someone that works as tirelessly as Steve and will work as hard for you to make sure you are satisfied.

At the end of the day, when you are spending tens of thousands of dollars, you want (1) the project done correctly (on time and on budget) and (2) you want the project to look nice and be worth your hard earned money. Steve and Heather and their teams really knocked it out of the park!

And I was not asked to do a review but felt compelled to share one because of the truly unique experience!

Highly recommend Hy-Tech Landscaping. We worked with Steve and used this company for many things on a large project. Stamped concrete removal complete with new paver patio and stairs, fence removal, rock removal with sod, drainage issues and some additional landscaping. Very easy to work with as modifications were made as we went. Steve provided valuable recommendations and design along the way. Very happy with the outcome. They were able to finish the protect in a timely manner for us at a competitive price.

I contracted Hytech Landscaping last year to improve the look of my current patio, have a wall, and also put in a fireplace. Steve was fantastic to work with throughout the process. He helped design and make changes to meet my needs. He also helped coordinate getting some under lighting for the wall to help elevate the look. The crew worked 12 hour days to get the job done, even when the temperature was quite hot. The crew cares about the work they were doing and kept me updated throughout the process. I needed some maintenance the year with the pavers and Steve came by & got a crew out the next day to achieve the repairs. Looking forward to getting the patio sealed and the continued relationship.

Steve from Hy-Tech Landscaping is awesome. I removed my 24 foot round pool, and Steve designed a great looking patio in the space. The patio with fire pit turnout great! Steve is great to work with, listened to what I was looking for, and put my thoughts in action. The crew was very pleasant to talk to, and very respectful of my neighbors and my property. Would definitely recommend Hy-Tech! Also would like to add the crew cleaned up very nicely, you would have never known they were there except for the beautiful patio. Neighbors were very impressed by the work, I would not be surprised if you got calls for work next spring.

Extremely satisfied with the paver installation they did. Very responsive and completed the job on time even with weather challenges. My backyard has never looked better! I would highly recommend Hy-Tech Landscaping. Steve is the best!

Hy-Tech Landscaping did an outstanding job on my retaining wall. They worked through a storm and made sure everything was completed in just one day without compromising quality. The wall looks fantastic, and the entire process was smooth. I appreciated the design phase with the project manager, who was also present on-site during installation. I had a 5/5 star experience with Steve from HyTech landscaping. In July we made a last minute decision we wanted to get a nice paver patio put in before a large family gathering we were having. Steve had such a prompt response time! He was out asap to give me a quote. His expertise helped to figure out the best design for the patio based on the slope of our backyard. We were so impressed with the work and how fast it was done. Highly recommend Steve for all your landscape needs!

Steve and his staff did an amazing job with our landscaping project! We had a new concrete patio installed and we needed grading, sodding, mulching, and planting done. After receiving a couple of quotes from other landscaping companies with no follow up or call-backs, Steve came out, examined what we would need done, and was very professional! He told us step by step what we would need done and how he and his crew would do it. Steve and his office staff constantly followed up with us and communicated with us via text and e-mail the estimate and estimated time of when they would begin. Once the job began, Steve was on-site for the project and overlooked the entire process! He and his crew made sure our expectations weren’t just met, but exceeded! I HIGHLY recommend Steve and the rest of the Hy-Tech Landscaping team for any landscape project that needs to be completed! Pictures are from the day the project was completed!

Steve was extremely knowledgeable and responsive. Time frame provided matched identical to what was estimated and new patio looks fabulous. I’d say you pay for what you get and what we got was excellent. Not the cheapest quote but worth the price.

Had a great experience with Hy-Tech Landscaping. Steve was very informative, had excellent suggestions for my project, very hands on and communicated with me each day what the goals of the team each day where, what was needed from me to move the project forward and what was happening with deliveries, etc.

Communication and great customer service goes a long way with me and Steve did an excellent job with that. Steve took ownership of the project, was on site each day (weather permitting) checking the previous days work and setting the crew up for that days goals.

All of the crew are hard working individuals who only stopped to take a lunch. They worked well together, knew their responsibilities and left each day with the job site cleaned up as much as possible.

My project consisted of removing an old deck, a shed and a tree. The deck was replaced with a brick paver patio, the shed and tree were replaced with a circular natural gas fire pit. The final piece of the project was a 80+ foot walkway from the front of the house tied to the patio and a few other small projects. Hy-Tech Landscaping completely redesigned my yard and I could not be happier with the look.

My only regret was not starting the project sooner so I could have enjoyed the outdoors more this year. Looking forward to spring to enjoy my yard for the first time since purchasing this home.

With so many landscaping companies out there to choose from we are extremely pleased that we went with Hy-Tech Landscaping located in New Lenox, Illinois. It was a pleasure working with Steve. He has many years of experience and was receptive to what I invisioned for our patio. We loved his recommendations. Steve was on site everyday, walking us through the process regularly. The crew was wonderful. Always on time, professional, friendly and hard-working. Our new patio is even more beautiful then what I invisioned.

Steve was excellent to work with. Very responsive to question and open to discuss our ideas. He was on site everyday to check in with crew and ensure things were remaining on time and project was moving foward. Crew on site was great, lead for the crew was there each day though some of the labors changed out depending on need.

We had a great experience with Hy-Tech landscaping for our backyard project. Steve was amazing with his suggestions for our patio, grading and retaining wall project. He was very helpful from start to finish throughout the entire process.

Hy-tech did an outstanding job in both my front and backyard with landscape and hardscape. Steve did an excellent job at design and plant choices as I am new to this growing area. Juan and his crew knocked it out of the park with execution! My front yard is gorgeous, my fire pit area is inviting, my raised beds are in place and ready to be planted, and my patio is a perfect gathering place. I will be using Hy-Tech again for Fall landscape project.
