They showed up promptly, worked efficiently, and left a clean finish - all at an affordable rate.

Besides top-notch furnace repairs, they're also brutally honest - that's why I'll never go anywhere else for heating services.

The guys from Northlake Heating and Cooling really stood out. When our furnace crashed, they delivered a new one pronto. They were top-notch pros who treated our home with respect. It's a big change from other companies we'd used, but these guys have nailed it – they're the real deal!

Terrible experience with this company. The service is unreliable, with guys showing up late or not at all. I've had it with blaming a filter for their lack of punctuality. Thankfully, FRICOLD stepped in and fixed the problem on the same day we called them. Save your time and money, avoid this business altogether - it's just not worth it.

I've waited years to write this review, hoping to confirm my suspicions about the reliability of other companies' reports. Unfortunately, my experience with Northlake Heating has left me thoroughly dissatisfied.
The installation of a rooftop unit at my 1200 sq ft house was supposed to be for a standard 2 ton, 55K BTU unit, but what I got was a 4 ton, 100K BTU unit, typically used in homes larger than mine. Jamie assured me that the factory was out of stock on the original unit and upgraded to a bigger one at no extra cost. However, this change has caused a multitude of problems from the start.
Despite my repeated questions about these issues, Jamie consistently told me that nothing was wrong with the unit – a technically correct statement, but one that ignored the fundamental flaw in its design for my specific home. The root problem lies in the oversized unit's inability to effectively cool or heat my house due to inadequate ductwork.
Jamie always had a convenient explanation ready when I pressed him about these issues. He'd say something like "all houses tend to get overheated in the summer" as an excuse, even though this wasn't true for my previous system. When I pointed out that the unit would shut off if it got too cold outside due to overheating, he claimed the issue only arose when it was extremely cold – a claim he later proved false by not experiencing the problem during our inspection.
I chose Northlake Heating based on their local presence, hoping for honest service. Instead, being "local" turned out to be no benefit. The warranty period was already cut in half due to COVID, and now I'm facing an even shorter service window.
My subsequent conversations with other companies have revealed that I may need a new unit and upgraded ductwork if I want my HVAC system to function properly – a costly and unnecessary repair if not for the subpar installation I received from Northlake Heating. -
I'm thoroughly impressed with my new AC installation. The team, led by Jamie, did an excellent job, taking only two days to complete the work in my hot attic. Their professionalism and courtesy were outstanding - not a single complaint was raised during or after the service. Jamie even set up the new unit so I don't need to access the attic for filter changes. I'm extremely pleased with this company; their staff are courteous, professional, and get it right.

Jaime and his team did an excellent job with our HVAC installation. Four years later, when our capacitor failed on a Saturday night, Jaime returned on Sunday morning to fix it, ensuring we had air conditioning again before the next heatwave. Their prompt service and reliability are truly impressive.

We were impressed with Jamie and his team's service. Our AC broke down but they arrived within a day to fix it. Pricing seemed fair too. Overall, a great experience that left us happy with their company.

Jaime from NLH did some work on my place in June. At first, it seemed like a simple fix - just get air flowing through the mechanical dampers where I was getting none upstairs. His team worked hard to make it happen, especially during an extremely hot month. But when they finished, we found out that there was still a problem: the duct work was never closed off properly in the first place and was actually leaking into the frame instead of going to the top. That's some unfinished business from the previous owners' contractor. I'm impressed that Jaime took responsibility for it and fixed it too. Now my whole house is cooling and heating just fine, which is a huge relief. What really stands out about NLH, though, is that they don't just slap together a quick fix - they take care of things properly so it lasts.

I recently had a great experience with Northlake Heating and Cooling after my air conditioning system failed on me. A big chain company initially checked it out, but it wasn't until the temperature was sweltering that they realized something was seriously wrong. I called Northlake and Jaime arrived within hours, diagnosing the issue in under 30 minutes. The problem was with the condenser - a unit nearing its 20-year mark. He presented me with two options: replace the faulty part or get a new system installed. The price for the new system was reasonable, so I went with that. Two days later, Jaime and his team showed up to install the new AC and furnace, demonstrating professionalism and respect throughout the process. It took them about 8 hours in total to complete the job. They even relocated the electrical box for easier maintenance access. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with their service and would highly recommend Northlake to anyone needing air conditioning work done.
