Electrical reviews in Oak Brook, Illinois

Excellent high quality work. Had a new Tesla Charger installed in the garage. Ron took care of the permit and follow up inspection, which passed with high marks. Ron discussed all aspects of the install before work commenced. Highly recommended.

Ron and everyone at RJ Electric is amazing. I had a charger installed on the wall of my garage for my wife’s Mustang Mach-E and Ron came to do the quote and work. He’s amazing and his team was fast and clean. Ron was accessible for questions and never hard to work with. He was even nice to my dog! Would give 10 stars if I could. Thanks guys!

Quality of work was great and pricing was very reasonable.
The whole process from quote to permits to installation to invoicing etc was very easy and did not require any follow ups from me.

They are really good and professional. After the installation they explained to us the warranty, replacement, setup, scheduling charging, and the universal charging way.

In addition they make sure that they clean, vacuum the panel and the garage. I highly recommend them. Thank you.

Installed a Tesla charger in our garage. Was very helpful with me getting the rebate from Com Ed. Was very clean, efficient and timely. Would definitely use them again.

RJ is very knowledgeable and discussed my EV charger installation plan in detail. He came up with innovative solutions to enable installation of two EV charges with a load management system on a new subpanel. He then arranged permits, ordered parts and worked with my schedule. Once installation started, he was on time, kept the place clean and was respectful of our property. The install is complete and inspection has passed. I would heartily recommend RJ for any electrical work.

Was thrilled with the experience at RJ Electric Service Co. from my initial outreach to the bid process and the ultimate execution of the project. Prompt, responsive, organized, and easy to work with remotely and in person - the business’s customer service is not just excellent but advanced in my experience. Ron demonstrated experience at every turn of the project (a Tesla charger install), was personable, and shared his knowledge throughout making it easy. Megan was amazingly efficient with all the behind the scenes blocking and tackling. Price was fair, turnaround was quick, and I’ll definitely seek out this company for my next project. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I highly recommended RJ electric services. they are very knowledgable, clean, professional, responsive & estimate spot on. We are very Happy with their work thats why they are Tesla preferred electrician. Thank you Ron for doing great work & being very responsive.

Quick, clean and professional (coming from a picky person). Ron was very easy to get a hold of, provided an accurate quote quickly, got permits accepted very quickly, scheduled an install time to work around my schedule, showed up on time, respected our property and did a very clean install. He even taught me a couple things while we chatted. Highly recommend Ron for EV charger install! Very happy we went with this company.

Excellence in electrical work! This is the only company that took an extra step to insure this Tesla charger was installed optimally considering our 40 year old electrical panel’s needs. The city inspector complimented our choice saying they love when a permit request comes from RJ Electric b/c they know the job will be done per best practices.

Ron did a great job installing the wall charger. On time, well-organized and reasonable price. Also helped with resolving issues with the village inspection.

Ron from RJ Electric was very professional and did a great job start to finish with my EV charger installation. He also scheduled the pre and post inspections which was very helpful. I would definitely recommend him and his company.

RJ Electric Service deserves more than five stars.
They installed a Tesla wall charger in my garage. They’re Tesla and ICC certified. They handled the permitting and did an excellent job on the installation. Their communication is first rate and their pricing is the best I found.
They also installed a couple of lights and a switch inside the house, again a great job.
I won’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone and use them again.

I’ve worked with RJ Electric twice in recent years and liked the process and professionalism in providing needful EV charger installation. The process part is about applying for city permit and getting approval, then installation and finally an inspection from city which usually takes time. When as customer we know this rest is all taken care of by RJ Electric really well. Ron as electritian and RJ electric as company are surely go to for any electric work. It’s definitely seamless and smooth experience overall due to their experience in the field. Never had any problems.

Ron explained everything beforehand and offered suggestions on where to locate the wall mounted charger in our garage. The city inspector we had review and approve the work complimented Ron as everything was installed and ran correctly to pass the inspection. Overall, I would check with them on any future electrical updates or changes we may need in the future.

RJ Electric installed my Tesla Wall Connector flawlessly. On time, clear on options, neat and fully code-compliant work, permit taken care, and everything left spotless. Pricing was transparent and communication excellent. Best part: they even helped with the reimbursement paperwork with my electrical provider and followed up until it cleared. Ron and his support staff were super nice and thoughtful—stayed until city inspector and answer questions. Truly outstanding service—highly recommended!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Ron from RJ Electric for the purchase, installation, and inspection of a Level 2 EV charger at my home—and I couldn’t be more impressed. From start to finish, Ron was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly easy to work with.

He helped me select the right unit for my needs, explained the installation process clearly, and handled all the permitting and inspection requirements seamlessly. The installation itself was done with precision and care, and everything was up and running faster than I expected. Ron even took the time to walk me through how to use the charger and answered all my questions with patience and clarity.

It’s rare to find someone who combines technical expertise with such a strong commitment to customer service. If you're considering an EV charger installation, I highly recommend Ron and the team at RJ Electric. They made the entire process smooth, stress-free, and genuinely enjoyable.
