I paid $95 to John to diagnosis my sewer gas smell in my house which can be hazardous. He did not provide a diagnosis for what my issue was, mainly gave me a bunch of “maybe it’s this” or “maybe it’s this” or your house is just old and your going to have to replace the whole main pipe through the house resolve the issue. This was all in a span of 15 min and I gave $95 for this service call, so basically was left with more questions than answers. I even started to question my career choice, and thought about going into plumbing business and tell 9 out of 10 people what he said and make a quick $95 in 15 min. On the contrary, with Kennedy Plumbing located in Alsip, they were able to come in and find out what was going on and why I was getting the smell. They found out it was the P trap in the ground and gave a few options and how I can contain the smell until I’m ready to do the repair. Again, I highly recommend Kennedy plumbing!

we had a water heater leak and called the plumbers who installed it before. turns out, it wasn't the water heater but a pressure reducer that failed. chris handled the job, checked everything carefully, and figured out the real problem. then he replaced the pressure reducer, which saved us from a bigger plumbing mess. chris explained what he was doing the whole time, and really knew his stuff. i highly recommend these plumbers.

The plumber from the unnamed company was fantastic. He made it to the Oak Lawn location promptly and carried an air of friendliness, expertise, and integrity. He successfully fixed a blocked shower drain and a dripping pipe in my residence. He ensured my bathroom was immaculate after unclogging the drain, and diligently confirmed that the pipe leak was completely repaired. I was under a bit of a tight schedule, but his efficiency was such that I could still make it to my girls' lacrosse game on time. The plumber was highly professional and diligent. He could have billed me for unnecessary repairs, but instead, he honestly informed me that my pipes were fine, just a faulty adapter that I could change myself. Later that same day, I encountered an unrelated leak and the scheduler immediately had a plumber return my call to guide me on how to temporarily handle the problem until they could arrive in Oak Lawn. i want to recommend and say a huge thank you to the plumbers who helped us out. we had a small gas leak in our laundry room that my pregnant wife smelled in the morning. after the gas company checked, they found the leak at an elbow joint inside the wall and had to shut off the gas to our home. with a child at home, we needed hot water and gas working again fast. after seeing good reviews, i called the plumbing company first. a very nice lady answered, and even though they were busy, she said she would try to help. she called back soon and said someone was on the way. chris arrived and fixed the leak right away. it was a great experience—the plumbers are friendly, did solid work, and the price was very fair! if you need a plumber in oak lawn, i highly recommend them.

We had a plumber come to our church in Oak Lawn to clear a stubborn sewer drain, but their equipment could only reach about 150 feet and didn’t clear the blockage. After calling around to several plumbing companies, we found that most weren’t able to handle longer commercial drains. Thankfully, when we called another plumber, they sent out a professional named . He worked really hard, explained the whole process to us, and was able to run his drain cable about 250 feet to finally clear the clog. Thanks to his effort, the drain was working perfectly just in time for our church service. If we ever have another plumbing issue, I’ll definitely ask for again.

one of the plumbers came to our house in oak lawn the same day i called, which was great. he remembered working here before since it's an older place with some tricky plumbing. he took the time to check under the yard about 5 inches deep, looking for the safest spot to snake the drain so he wouldn’t risk damaging the fragile pvc pipes in the kitchen and basement. he was very professional and polite the whole time. the office staff was also friendly and helpful when scheduling the appointment. i'll definitely call them again when we need to update the old sewer pipes. five stars for great plumbing service!
