Tim was incredible. His employees work very hard to make your trees look good and keep them healthy. When purchasing firewood as I have for over a decade, the quality is out of this world. Lots of hardwoods and long burning pieces. I will continue to use Paul Bunyon for all my tree trimming and firewood needs. You can’t go wrong having the tallest man cut your trees. If you are lucky Tim will tell you stories about his incredible family. That’s how I knew i had the right man. You can’t go wrong here!

I had a large tree branch that was scraping against my siding and roof when winds got high. Paul Bunyon & Sons came to the rescue. They were fast, reliable, and did a great job!

Tim and his crew came out to my dads house with a fleet of professional and new equipment and trimmed/ pruned my parents trees in a timely manner. They cleaned up the property as it should. We are extremely happy with the service. We would highly recommend them.

Tim and his coworker were great. A job earlier in the day ran longer than planned but they still delivered a cord of firewood and stacked it neatly behind my garage in the dark. They also provided a quote for a large tree removal which was cheaper than 3 previous quotes received. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional.

We have ordered our firewood from Tim every year for the last 9 years, and I am happy to use wood that has already been downed. They are super responsive and they do a good job of stacking the wood for a fair price. I have recommended them to many fireplace owners.

Negative Experience with Tim and Non-Recommendation

Based on my personal experience working with Tim, I would not recommend him to anyone. The following are the reasons for my dissatisfaction:

- On the day he was supposed to complete the job at my house, he stopped working to take on a job from one of my neighbors, which was very opportunistic and unprofessional. When I confronted the workers, they claimed that the job was already done.
- Despite my immediate call to Tim and his promise to evaluate the situation, he did not show up. It was a nightmare for me to get the job done, as he repeatedly (on four occasions in total) failed to show up or communicate with me.
- Finally, he completed the job one month later, which was an unacceptable delay.
- Overall, Tim's lack of reliability, and communication skills made my experience with him very negative.

We just had Tim & his guys out to trim and thin out a couple trees. These guys are amazing. They do a great job of balancing your wants with making sure to keep your trees healthy. Knowledgeable and efficient, and they do a fantastic job of keeping the yard clean of debris. I've got more trees on my property and will definitely be calling these guys back when needed.

We hired Paul Bunyon to trim 5 trees overhanging our 3 townhouses and garages. Tim spent a lot of time with us to make sure that he was meeting our needs and doing what would best serve the health of the trees long term. It was a complicated job - one tree was half dead and two were partially on our neighbors' properties. They were professional and careful and went over & above to make sure we got the best results. Highly recommend them!

During the heavy windstorm in August my large maple tree in the backyard had fallen on my house & onto the corner of my neighbors house. I had just had a new fence installed 3 days prior, & was concerned it was going to fall on my fence. I had called another tree service I had used several years ago, they did not answer. I called Paul Bunyon & Tim answered the phone immediately, I couldn’t believe it. He said they were on the way to another job but were close by and would be here in 15 minutes to take a look at it. They arrived as promised. He and his crew were fantastic! They secured the tree from falling onto my fence and removed the section from my neighbors home. Tim said they would be back in the morning to finish the job. I couldn’t believe it, 7:00 am they were here to finish the job. They left my yard spotless. If it weren’t for my missing tree, that had great sentimental value to me, I would have never known anything had happened. I gave him a down payment and he was very patient & understanding waiting for my insurance adjuster to get here, & for my balance to be paid. I highly recommend Paul Bunyon & sons! I will be calling them to do work on some large blue spruce trees in the front of my house, & to plant a suitable tree to replace the one that I lost. Thank you Tim & your crew for the great job!

Best tree service I've ever had the experience of dealing with.
Storms knocked a tree down onto my house. They were here the very next day and removed the tree. Very professional, knowledgeable, cleaned up all debris. I would recommend this service to anyone that needs tree removal.
Prices were very affordable. Tim is a great buy. I couldn't have dealt with anyone better.

Tim came to take a look at some trees for me. Showed up when they said they would and gave me a great price. They left the wood for me so I could split it and burn it over the winter! Will definitely be calling them for my tree/wood needs! Have used them twice and they never let me down!

We called Paul Bunyon and Sons and had gotten an estimate from them as well as two other companies we were happy that they responded fast. Since they gave me a great price and seemed very professional we went with them. We needed a lot of tree's and large bushes / brush removed from our yard so that we could build a garage. They also trimmed some very large trees in the back that were hanging over into the alley. Tim and his staff responded fast and worked for over 6 hours at my home they were also very polite. They even gave my Dad a senior discount. I recommend Paul Bunyon and Sons for doing a great job with a fair price on somewhat short notice. I would work with this company again. Thanks!

Tim knows trees! Extremely knowledgeable and generous with it. They’ve done several jobs for us. Very professional, friendly. Prices are more than reasonable. They leave the yard in great shape as well. They had to dismantle my firepit for the last job. I fully expected to have to put it back together myself but when I got home they had already done it. Highly recommended.

I had Paul Bunyan tree service come out to check out a large tree in my backyard that was dying. Tim came out quickly estimated the job and explained how the process would happen. Tim and his crew came out as promised and removed the tree and ground the stump all in one day and stayed until the job was completed which was over 10 hours. He also removed some additional limbs from another tree in my yard at no additional cost. I have used Paul Bunyan since and as expected I was never disappointed. I have recommended Tim to my friends as well.
