Reviews of local pros in Oswego, Illinois

Arne’s was wonderful to work with! First, Sonia created beautiful computer generated designs for us to view. She was patient in getting the design exactly right! Next, the landscapers were hard working, honest, dependable, and followed up every step of the way. Their work is incredible. We appreciate everything. Definitely recommend!

Arne’s did a phenomenal job and exceeded all expectations. They designed, renovated and installed our hardscaping and landscaping. They were timely, patient and have great attention to detail. Thank you Sonia, Israel, Carlos and crew for all your hardwork! Our dream backyard and patio won’t be possible without you!

Arne's is a family run business. Sonia and Israel helped us develop a design that incorporated everything we had envisioned and more. The quality of the work is superior. My advice is don't short-cut your project, listen to the experts. If you can dream it, Arne's can build it!

Arne's Paving was really incredible to work with! We wanted to replace our front walkway because the base of our pavers washed out and the side supports failed. Bad installation from the previous homeowners and a different contractor.
Got a few estimates. All of them came close to the same cost. What sold us on Arne's was the quality of their work and their responsiveness even before we signed the contract with them. They came to our house to talk through options. After researching a bit about high-quality installations, we were happy to hear their installation matched what we learned about base materials and side supports. After our meeting they sent us really great renderings of the finished project with our chosen pavers. They made a few adjustments at our request, and then we had a really nice visual of the finished project. We ultimately decided to contract with them because of their excellent reviews and the professionalism we experienced with them.
And we are very happy with the final result! This family-owned business is excellent and we will definitely use them again if we have paving or landscape needs.

Arne’s paving & landscaping did an outstanding job on my patio. We are beyond happy with our new patio. The guys were so kind and extremely knowledgeable in their field. I LOVE their work and plan to use Arne’s for future work. I HIGHLY recommend going with this company for any patio work.

Arne's completed a major project for us in the fall of 2025, including a paver horseshoe driveway, steps and porcelain tile at the front door, steps to the pool deck in the rear, and extensive retaining walls. We couldn't be more pleased with their work and the final results. They were prompt, courteous, and professional during every phase of the project, including providing helpful suggestions along the way. And their pricing was very competitive. Two big thumbs up for this family business.

We absolutely love our patio and the job that Arne’s team did. Israel and Sonia were very knowledgeable and great to work with! Their team was fast, tidy and very professional. They were able to fit us in 4 weeks ahead of our scheduled start date which was amazing. We had one minor issue with one of the bricks after install and Arne’s team had it fixed a couple of days later. We were recommend Arne’s by our neighbors and we are so glad we went with them. We plan to keep recommending them to other neighbors.

We hired Arne’s to expand our deck and build a patio. They were extremely easy to deal with in getting us our estimate and agreeing to the cost of the project. Once they started, they were very diligent in having their crews at our home on a daily basis. They were very considerate of our lawn as they used various pieces of heavy equipment during their work and covered all areas with boards or tarps. Their workmanship was very professional and very meticulous. They paid great attention to every detail. The end result was a wonderful and beautiful patio and deck. We would highly recommend Arne’s to anyone who wants/needs a similar project…they were great and easy to deal with!

I would highly recommend Arne's Paving and Landscape for your hardscape project. The team demoed a twenty five year old paver patio and installed a beautiful patio and retaining wall in its place. Their quote was competitive and the quality of work and attention to detail was very impressive. The team was very receptive to our suggestions and changes, and worked with us along the way to make sure we were happy. They were very skilled, hard working and cleaned up the site thoroughly after completion. Excellent work.

This company is amazing! I shopped several quotes and from the very beginning I was impressed. We were having out old wood deck ripped out and adding hardscaping and a pergola.

They took the time to listen, offered suggestions and were a pleasure to work with. The quoting process was great with many options you can add or delete (they even assembled and installed the pergola I bought elsewhere). Sonia did an awesome job giving me multiple cad drawings to choose from based on different options.

They offered a ton of value and used the phrase "we want to make sure you are happy with the work", several times. This was obvious from beginning to end.

They were on time, respectful of our property (and neighbor's property) and are VERY meticulous with their work!

I had several neighbors compliment how precise they were. They also made sure to fully cleanup every day (front and backyard as well as the street).

I really cannot recommend Arne's Paving enough. Sonia in the front office and Israel and his team were a pleasure to work with and we will be calling them again for future business.

We wanted a patio put in this summer and went with Arne’s on the recommendation from a neighbor.
We were SO pleased with the results - it looks beautiful and we’ve already received so many compliments. Our new patio furniture arrived yesterday and it’s the finishing touch on this beautiful patio.
The process from start to finish was a true collaboration and the agreed upon design was perfect!
Also I must mention the work ethic of this crew. We had many of our neighbors comment on how fast it was done, how they cleaned up EVERY DAY after they left and how committed they were to the finished product. Would definitely use them again and would definitely recommend!

Here’s to all the summers enjoying our outdoor space!

Elli and his M & M crew were great! Always responsive and professional. We just needed a spring cleanup and some new mulch, and it looks fantastic! They got the exact mulch I wanted and they were very efficient! We might even use them for a replacement pergola for our patio. Job well done, would highly recommend!

Very good crew to have on your project. Whatever it may be.

Quick response, good communication, great value, patient and attentive to our concerns, owner and crew went above and beyond. Patio and yard look amazing. A pleasure.

They did a lovely job edging and mulching our yard and also trimming the shrubs. We will definitely use them again.

Great job sprucing up our patio. Showed up when expected and left the place clean. Would recommend.

M&M did a wonderful job grading sodding & removing planting bed & adding new pavers. They are curteous h hard working

As a member of Big Life Community Church in Oswego, they plow our parking lot. We had quite a few snow events on weekends this past winter and they were responsive, professional and very affordable for a small Church. We are grateful for them and would highly recommend their services.

Elie and crew came through big. We had a tight timeline and they knocked it out of the park. Very responsive, professional work all around. I would recommend them over and over.

I can’t say enough about them, they came out to view what we needed and quoted us that same night and gave us a completion date and actually was earlier than expected. Being a first time customer, I will certainly use them again!

Also the guys that came to do the job were very polite and did a GREAT job!! Perfect!

Highly recommend to all friends & family! A +

Received quick response on my project needs and was able to have the work done in a reasonable amount of time. The work is professional and I am very happy with the results.
