Reviews of local pros in Oswego, Illinois

This company was awesome from start to finish. Kal came when he said he would, on time and professional, gave me a quote for roof and gutters. Great follow up, scheduled my roof and got it done in a day and a half then gutters half day more. Really smooth process, very professional, resonable price I would recommend them to anyone. Really a great experience.

We had a great experience from start to finish. The team was professional and knowledgeable. They answered all our questions, and helped us choose the best windows for our needs and budget.

Installation day went smoothly—the crew arrived on time and worked efficiently. The new windows look fantastic and have already made a noticeable difference in comfort/temperature control. We’re very happy with the quality of the product and the customer service we received. Highly recommend this company to anyone considering window replacement!

We have nothing but great things to say about Carmody and all their staff!!
Starting with Sr project consultant Phil Quill, he was very patient and knowledgeable like having a “dad“ at your disposal.
he walked us through options, explained all the steps and provided a written quote within hours of our meeting. When we made changes to our choices - those were incorporated just as quickly. We had three other quotes from other contractors, but they were each either too expensive or lacking knowledge. So we did our homework.

Once our windows / siding delivered we felt like we were their only project! A top priority.
Carmody’s skilled laborers hit the ground running working tirelessly for 5 straight days!
They took care around my interior finishings and even my exterior plantings. They were so mindful that the birds nesting in my hanging pots kept access to their eggs and we now have a brood of 6 baby chicks thriving.

Everything looks excellent, and we are already noticing the sound difference from outside noises and the air conditioning is finally keeping up now that the widows are solid and properly installed and UV coated plus the layer of new insulation under the siding.

Upgrading widows and siding from the 20 year old cheap builder grade is like getting a whole new house!! Imagine having three inch aluminum trim around each window vs a 1” plastic strip. From disposable looking to solid construction in one week. I could go on and on.

Note : When we did noticed a few little issues on some missing caulk and a tiny scratch on a window lock and even just to center our window well cover, they were out immediately to remedy the situation.
I know Carmody will stand behind their work for years to come.

I had my roof and siding replaced by Carmody. They are first class 5 star all the way from the first point of sale to project completion and beyond. I especially want to recognize my project manager Brad Petzold. He treated me with the utmost respect and made me feel that as the customer I came first. I highly recommend Carmody for all your roofing and siding needs!

Carmody Construction did an outstanding job from start to finish! Their pricing was very fair, and the quality of work exceeded expectations. The customer service team was fantastic—always friendly, responsive, and professional throughout the entire process. The project was completed on time, exactly as promised, with excellent attention to detail. I couldn’t be happier with the results and would absolutely recommend Carmody Construction to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality work at a great price!

Our patio slider needed to be replaced so we reached out to Carmody via their website and they responded immediately. Their customer service is seriously top notch. Chris in sales was so knowledgeable and kind and, most importantly, put zero pressure on us to make a purchase. Brad was awesome, stopping by prior to installation to doublecheck measurements and then again post installation to be sure that we were pleased with the results. And Katrina! Every company should have a Katrina - she was on top of EVERYTHING from start to finish. From making each and every appointment, to filing the permit with the city, she did it all. She was truly a delight to work with! Highly, highly recommend Carmody!

Recently had our kitchen bow window replaced by Carmody. Phil was our point man! During our consultation, we walked through various options knowing this was a unique window replacement. Phil was willing to be flexible and vet out what the best option was for us.

What I was very impressed with was their organization. The office kept me informed on when various contractors were arriving and held each team accountable to ensure we stayed on schedule. Throughout the project, Phil answered all of our questions and fixed a minor issue we had with trim very quickly.

Overall - I’d recommend Carmody to be considered for a project!

I was amazed at the level of professionalism with the employees at Carmody Construction. Starting with Colin who did the sales and quote. He was knowledgeable, personable, patient and spot on responsive for my needs. Then Steven , project manager and crew, on time, focused, explained the process and products used on my roof to my understanding—. Couldn’t ask for better support from a company. Completed in less than a day. Katrina was great to connect all the resources to make it happen efficiently! Colin picked a great color to blend with my “ looking new” home. I will pass your name on to anyone looking for a construction company. Gutter guards added also ! Great team there!

We have had Carmody do three projects for us over the past couple of years. When our patio door started failing we didn't hesitate to call Carmody. The team was very professional, the price was lower than expected and the quality is great.

Thank you for the new beautiful roof. Your workers were prompt efficient and did excellent work. Will definitely be referring you guys.

Top Tech was great . They did great work with high quality materials for a great price

Easy process from estimate, scheduling, delivery of materials, and installation. Crew did a great job on clean up too!

Top Tech is wonderful to work with. Answered all my questions and concerns. Respectful of my property. Pretty sure left my property cleaner then before work. Unlike so many other companies they actually returned all my phone calls same day I called with any questions. Did great work. I would highly recommend

Working with Top Tech Construction was a wonderful experience and they did an amazing job on my home. I was in desperate need of new gutters when my old metal gutters were rusted through and causing leaks in the basement.  I had a lot of issues with even getting a quote from other companies when a friend referred me to Top Tech Construction.  They worked around my schedule and came out later that day for the inspection.  We walked around the house together to discuss the different option with what work I wanted and needed done.  They addressed all my concerns and answered all my questions.  I got the quote the next day, the work started the following week, it only took a day to be completed and the best part no leaky basement any more.  I have an old farm house so I will defiantly be contacting Top Tech Construction again soon for my next project, maybe some new siding to go with the new gutters.

I have been in the Home Improvement industry for over 40 years. In that time I have roofed/re-roofed well over 100 homes, 27 of them on the same street as my residence. Two years ago and approaching my 60th B-day, I contracted what has become my last roof. Simply getting too old. Shortly thereafter, I was working in a neighborhood installing new windows, a house in the same neighborhood was getting a new roof. A crew from Top Tech Construction was doing the job. As an experienced roofer, I began to critique their actions. I was very impressed with the way they worked together. Every member of the crew knew what had to be done and they completed the job promptly. Quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. Since then, when I have a customer inquire about a roofing job, I refer them to TTC. Top Tech Const. has done roofing and gutters now for some of my prior clients and also 1 of my co-workers. No complaints.
I strongly recommend that You contact Top Tech Construction if You are considering a new roof, gutters, etc...

I'm so happy that a friend referred this company! The crew was fast and efficient, as I had a leak in my roof, it was in need of a quick face lift to say the least! Mike responded promptly from my home advisory Inquiry. He even dealt with the adjuster to get my insurance to approve my roof with a reasonable quote. If you're looking for a company that has values, shows compassion, and punctuality. I highly recommend this company! Thank you guys for taking care of my family and I!

One of the best experiences I have ever encountered with home repair. Mike was great, he came out the same day I made contact. Gave me a reasonable quote. The workers were extremely fast and courteous. You won't regret it if you go with Top Tech!!! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for any roofing job.

It's hard to find a roofing company who is responsive and didn't want to charge for an estimate. Mike from top tech construction was very personable and responded immediately to my request for an estimate. Top Tech did a great job of communicating throughout the process. We had skylights that needed replaced but their size was not carried anymore by any manufacturer. Mike offered a creative solution that saved us a lot of money both now and in the future if they ever need replaced again. Supplies arrived on time and the crew was out the next day to do the roof replacement. Thank you, Top Tech Construction!

Top Tech did our roof. From start to finish it has been a pleasure to work with them. Brian is our go to guy and I also spoke with Mike and they are very upfront and polite. They returned our calls and texts in a timely manner and took the time to explain everything. They even came out quicker than the scheduled time and day. The crew they sent out to actually do the roof was polite and respectful of our property. They also cleaned our gutters after they were done which was most appreciative. I have recommended them to others and will continue to do so.

TCC did a great job on my roof. Every aspect was done with clarity and attention to detail. They cleaned up thoroughly after and were flexible to work with. I would call them right away next time I need a job done.

Mike contractor, and his crew did a fantastic job on my roof, they are hard workers and have great workmanship from start to finish, I would definitely recommend top tech construction to anyone looking for a roofing job ,thanks Mike and your crew
