Nick and Carlos did a wonderful job on our flooring project, and we were so lucky to find them for the job.

- Nick is super responsive via all forms of communication channels, and the entire team is super efficient that gets the job DONE with quality and speed. Very punctual and experienced team which made the entire project a seamless process.
- Their experience is no joke - in and out within 7hrs for a 1000sqf carpet removal -> flooring project. I've spoken to many contractors who quoted me 2-3 days. The pricing is super reasonable as well.
- They're one of a few contractors who had insurance policies that fulfilled our building's stick policy. We're super lucky that they've already done 6 units in our building so they know the building well, which makes transporting materials via freight elevators way easier than I imaged.

I have worked with many contractors over the years and find most of them to over promise and under deliver. I had the opportunity to with Nick and his team on two projects over the last year and had an exceptional experience.

Nick is incredibly professional with his approach to estimating the job and scheduling. His quote was very competitive.

Horrible customer service. I made an appointment for an estimate to get new floors installed. After the phone call, I texted Nick with the address and an agreed time for the estimate. I even went to their store in Park Ridge to look at floor samples, and the manager was aware of our appointment. On the day of the appointment, Nick didn’t show up, and I didn’t even receive a call or text as to why it was a no-show. I took off work for this estimate, and my time was wasted. Don’t waste your money on these people. If this is how they act now, imagine how they’ll act if you have an issue with their service after the work is done.

Great experience from start to finish. Nick was super quick to respond along every step in the process & gave us great guidance as we were selecting the best flooring materials for our condo. They were prompt, quick and efficient on the day of install and our new vinyl wood floors look great. Followed up after for a minor adjustment we needed that was promptly handled- very professional and good people! Reasonably priced and did all our heavy furniture moving for us!

These guys are great and very professional about how fast and accommodating they are about my place. I was worried about the uneven floors but they fixed it without transitions.

I just had luxury vinyl flooring put in my 2bedroom 2 bath condo and am in love with how it came out! . I worked mainly with Nick and have to brag about his professionalism, transparent communication and fast work. His estimate was spot on and competitive with other companies. Both myself and my boyfriend got quotes and every other company always asked to speak with my boyfriend even though I was paying for the flooring. Nick on the other hand was extremely professional and wasn't dismissive or chauvinistic like the rest. ( Any woman can tell you that this is a big deal! ) Lastly, what won me over was Nick's calm demeanor and explanations throughout the entire process as I have never had flooring put in . He was able to provide me with documentation about the flooring to petition my HOA and get the job done smoothly and efficiently.

Did a perfect job with my flooring installation several years ago and the flooring is still looking perfect.

Nick and Pablo did such a great job on my flooring project. I had ~300sqft of flooring removed (carpet in a bedroom and LVP in the kitchen) and replaced with new LVP I purchased myself.

Communication with Nick was seamless. He texted me his ETA and was in and out for the initial measure in all of 5-10 minutes. He sent a quote a couple days later, provided a certificate of insurance for my HOA, and answered all the questions I had over text. On install day, Pablo got the entire project done about 6 hours and hauled away the old flooring for me. He was very polite and professional.

These guys were amazing. Very knowledgeable and professional. Best quote i had on the work laying all new floors in 3 bedrooms, a hallway and stairs. They finished even faster than promised and it looks lovely. I would definitely recommend using this company and will call on them again myself!

Phenomenal customer service, affordable prices, and quality workmanship set this flooring company a cut above the rest. I had luxury vinyl plank flooring installed in the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and on the staircase. Nick was always approachable, and ready to answer any questions that I had. I was amazed at how quickly and efficiently his crew completed the task. Would I rehire them? In a heartbeat. This is one company that truly goes the extra mile to make sure the customer is satisfied. I would give Nick and his crew a six star rating if I could. They are that good.

They were efficient and helpful with ordering samples that I could look at at home with the different lighting and were very patient since many times I could not make up my mind as we talked about the different shades and padding. We were so pleased with the carpeting, that we ordered a new vinyl floor for our kitchen that was impeccably installed. after looking at 10 companies ended up choosing between Empire Today which keep popping up on all my social media and saw they have a massive discounts and Chicago Flooring which i found on thumbtack both companies have very good reviews after they visited my house for free estimates i have found both of them to be on the same highest level of professionalism both representstives are knowledgeable of everything about floor installations for all price range options of woods and carpets. head to head Chicago Flooring wins in the value for money department, after Empire Today gave me their best LAST price Chicago Flooring still countered with about 30% better price and..... wait for it!......... BETTER QUALITY CARPET than we initially agreed!
at the back of my head i hear the devil whispering to me this deal is too good to be true but i still moved forward with Chicago Flooring knowing that they have stellar reviews on thumbtack. then installation day 2 of his employees came and installed the new carpet they were fast but precise and they are very respectful of my property walked in and out with huge rolls of carpets and big tools with care not a single time they hit anything! there was a process where they need to clean the plywood before installing the padding and they rightaway closed the door of the room so dust wont come out to my living room. they really earned my respect so i went to panda express and bought them both 3 entree meals and large drinks 😂😂😂 when all is done it was Perfect! the transition from carpet to wood was impeccable! im a cheap person :) 😂😂😂 but cant help myself to give them $20 tip each.
