Home Services reviews in Plainfield, Illinois

Worst snow removal EVER. They are contracted by our HOA and they only remove snow after it stops snowing. So if there is a heavy snowfall spanning several hours, you are out of luck. You will be stuck in your garage indefinitely. Also, they don't complete their contracted services. I still do not have a shoveled walkway 4 days after snowfall.
AWFUL company! -
This is the worst landscaping company ever. I pay exorbitant HOA fees for lawn maintenance and do the trimming edging myself and fertilizer myself. The lawn cutting is hit and miss. They consistently miss areas and rows of lawn every week. I know residents that cut their own grass AFTER it is cut by Yellowstone. The fertilizer is worthless. Many of us apply fertilizer on top of theirs. I have complained to the rep every week for 2 years and nothing changes.

For a couple of months this company is taking care of landscaping around our condo apartments.
Almost every time they come to remove the leaves they just transform them into dust and spread the dust along the building walls.
This is a very efficient method to get rid of them without physical take the leaves away in a container and remove them properly.
The amount of dust created through this process (puting the leaves in a pile and going over and over with the blades over the pile ) is HUGE!
Sometimes the cloud of dust is taller than the building itself.
I cannot describe to you how the cars in the parking lot look after they leave.
Please make yourself a big service and don’t hire them.
They might be cheap but they don’t do the job right -
Ignorant employee left truck 1137 parked at gas pump at a gas station having repairs done so less than 50% of pumps were available. I pulled up waited my turn then filled up and left and truck was still sitting at the pump. Employee was probably at the slot machine in the station. Extremely rude. That says a lot about their character, I would never call them or even recommend them.

The worst. I hate that our HOA switched to this company! From day one we’ve had problems with them. We live in a duplex community and the very first day they cut cable/internet lines of 5 or 6 units, ours included. None of the lines were above ground at the time. However, once our line was replaced and waiting for the cable company to come back to bury, Yellowstone cut the line AGAIN! Their manager or supervisor says it’s not their fault though, either time. Interesting, I guess the cable line just jumped out the ground into the way of the weed wacker on its own, go figure. They definitely don’t do nearly as much maintenance and lawn care as the previous company. And my mom had a friend put some plants down for her, they cut them. This company is a joke.

Our subdivision is contracted with Yellowstone for snow removal, and the service has been unacceptable. They didn’t begin clearing snow from a major storm until two days later and even then arrived midday. Several driveways were skipped, the work was poorly done, and snow was piled against fire hydrants, which is unsafe.
I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS COMPANY! -
company is COMPLETE garbage. my association uses them to do snow removal. well this past snow a couple weeks ago they decided to completely drive over and plow over 6 - 3' tall christmas tree decorations that was up between driveways. mind you these trees are $40 a piece. mind you i also had the orange reflector sticks up to make the sides of my driveways just so the company knows. well this tear they took them down as well. i went to my association and they of course said it was the plowing companys fauly. took a week to hear from you guys and all your answer was it nope we arent covering the damage. went back to the association and they also were like nope not going to cover them since the plow company didnt. way to just completely take out somones chritmas dispay and not do anything about it...i am not dont i will spread this word everywhere i possibly can about your company and the HOA..

Our community hired Yellowstone for lawncare and plowing, thankfully they were not rehired when the contract ran out. We had damage to our home in two separate places from their careless trimming. They also damaged a decorative peace pole in one of our planting beds. They used a huge mower between houses and dug up the yard that we needed to reseed more than once. They drove so fast when putting down fertilizer, that it was very ineffective. Our lawns were full of weeds. I would put out a cooler of Gatorade and waters on hot days for them, only to find a few of the empty bottles in iur green space. Snow plowing was no better. There was little snow last year and they refused to come out when it was barely under the 2" limit. Terrible service, I would not recommend

EXCELLENT work. I cannot recommend working with Yellowstone Landscape enough. When my husband and I were getting quotes, we interviewed quite a few companies to get quotes. A few ghosted us, and a few others gave quick quotes while looking at our yard quickly.
Yellowstone was profoundly professional from the first touch. Noah came out right on time, did thorough measurements and asked plenty of questions to make sure he gave us an accurate estimate. We approved the quote and they put us on the schedule within the same week.
When the crew arrived to do the work, they were on time and very respectful of our property. Not only did they work tirelessly, they did so with incredible craftsmanship. I had no worries the whole day and was very confident that they knew what they were doing. The pictures speak for themselves too.
Job well done! Could not be happier with the experience from start to finish. -

I was having problems with my last Landscape company and decided to drive around our area and look for another company. After driving for about 10 min I saw a R&M truck and guys cutting a lawn and it looked good so I went over to one of them and it happened to be Ryan so we talked and he came over the next day to give me a quote.
We hired him on the spot as he was ver professional and he did good work.
Since then he has been cutting our lawn and his crew has done a really good job, in fact people are commenting on how nice our lawn looks.
I am glad I found R & M and I am sure they will be with us for a long time. Their snow removal is just as good.
Thanks Ryan for your quick responses even though you are busy. You always try to accommodate our schedule and you are always honest, which I really appreciate!
I usually do not write reviews but in this case I will make and exception!
