The service needed was more complex than we originally thought and even though it was at the end of the day Val was determined to get us up and running. After lots of up and down stairs/ladders- we had cool air before we went to bed. Super appreciative and we highly recommend.

Special shout out to Roman for doing an exceptional job! It all started with a project as simple as replacing the bathroom exhaust fan. I bought a new exhaust fan but had trouble detaching the old one, so I had to call for help. I contacted Astera via Yelp message and got a response within a few minutes, even though it was a Sunday! They had a straightforward labor fee for replacing the fan, so I set an appointment for the next day. But when I went up the attic, I found that there were some modifications that needed to be done with how the exhaust fan was connected to the roof vent. I also wanted to completely remove another broken exhaust fan from the second bathroom. I got a message from Astera company the next day saying that they would be able to come earlier than the scheduled time. I was happy to hear it since I had another plan that evening. Roman arrived at the expected time, and I explained the complexity of the project. He understood and knew exactly what to do. When I asked him if he did drywalls, he said he did! He also had experience with electrical projects, so he accepted my request to replace the light switch for the exhaust fan. Although each additional request cost more on top of the initial labor fee, the price was competitive, and I could trust Roman, seeing his quality of work and speed. I later canceled the switch replacement, but again, his skills and quality of work were above and beyond my expectations. It took him about 1.5 hours to complete everything. After he was done, he took photos and video of his work on the attic, which was super convenient. He also cleaned up very nicely after he was done with his work. I would give him six stars if that were an option! I recommend Astera to those looking to replace bathroom exhaust fans, any electrical parts in the home, or any other house projects!

We had Alex today to do a tune-up for our Furnace and Air conditioner. He was very pleasant to work with, and he took time to clean up our air conditioner and furnace. We did notice that sometimes our air condisioner would run but no cool air coming out of the vents lately, and Alex found that it's caused by the compressor and had it replaced.
