I called to have some 100+ year old oak trees trimmed so they would not hit the house. Wayne & Daniel surveyed the property and provided a lot of insight to how the trees had grown for the last 100 years. they then suggested a trimming path to protect the trees and my house. the work was done professionally and promptly.

Wayne came out and spent 1.5 hours with me and looked over the trees I am having problems with as well as the others. It was a real learning experience. I have hired his company to treat three of my trees as well as removing a large limb on another tree. I have worked with other companies but none of them demonstrated the knowledge that Wayne possesses. I am positive my problem trees will be revived.

Daniel and his team are professional and did a fantastic job caring for our tree. As soon as branches were trimmed they were removed from the yard. He oversaw the whole project and then reviewed with me. Wonderful service and highly recommend.

Daniel did an awesome job of helping me with my questions about sycamore anthracnose and their Portle needle injection treatment. He helped me locate web resources for finding a qualified arborist in Oregon.

I am working on some projects on the residence and am also prepping for a building project on the very wooded adjacent lot. I called Wayne based on the positive reviews reflected on the internet.
Wayne took an immediate interest, showed up the next day, and gave me a reasonable bid on removal of a mulberry tree. We had a very informative discussion on tree issues and solutions for the vacant lot building project. Wayne is a smart dude !

I was very satisfied with Emerald Tree Service,. They came out to my house and diagnosed the nasty things sucking the life out of my trees (scale insects). And then, for what I feel was a very fair price, applied the appropriate insecticides on the ground and to the leaves to kill the bugs and save my trees. That was back in early summer. And the trees all survived apparently bug-free into the fall and had wonderful color, instead of the lifeless branches that had seemed to be multipying without end prior to treatment. As an aside, they also applied a natural, fish-based fertilizer, at no added cost, to the trees to help them recover.

If the bugs return in Spring, I will be having Emerald Tree return as well.

Wayne is really impressive. He gave a great complimentary consult that resulted in me being able to actively eliminate a really tough weed in my yard. He was willing to chat and even researched it for me. Highly recommend Emerald and his willingness to help with an issue.

Wayne came out to look at an oak that fell in our yard and to assess the remaining oak trees. He gave us an informative assessment of the health of our trees and a plan to do a more in-depth look at two closer to our home next spring. He is very knowledgeable, we enjoyed his insights on other bushes and trees in our yard.

If you need tree care and are near Carol Stream, you are in luck. Wayne came out to my house and gave me info on when to trim my bushes, options regarding a black walnut near a veggie garden, a couple trees too close to the house, as well as a few others. I will recommend Emerald Tree Care to anyone needing tree related services because of his superior knowledge and customer service.

Emerald Tree Care does an excellent job of evaluating the condition of your trees and recommends the appropriate treatment, if needed. They are easy and fair to work with, and always provide a quote before performing any work. I have used their services to treat an Ash tree exposed to EAB with great results. They have also mitigated other problems in my landscape. Emerald Tree Care is always my first call when there are suspect things happening to my trees. I am very satisfied with their service.

We are new homeowners in Lake In The Hills. We bought a house with professionally done landscaping and multiple trees on the property. Being neophytes about tree care we became concerned when a couple of the trees began to show signs of disease. We weren't even sure what they were.
I contacted Emerald after seeing them on the web. Wayne and I exchanged texts and even though we were outside their immediate area, Wayne agreed to come the next day to evaluate and recommend solutions. That was on a Sunday! He came and spent a good deal of time educating both my wife and myself on the type and care of our trees and landscape shrubs. The good news was no major issues on our Crabapples (which we learned we own) and suggested homeowner maintenance for helping them flourish.

I have been working with Wayne, Daniel, and Brianna for four years to save a treasured 75 year old ash tree that the Emerald Ash Borer attacked. I am well outside of their service area but they have coached me on the science and some self-treating options, and also visited to inject the tree annually as well. They recently pruned the tree's damaged parts to re-energize the recovering areas. They have been patient enough to teach me about the EAB and so thorough in their professional follow ups and communications. They are the BEST!!

Daniel and team were awesome! We had them prune And cable a 50’ Elm tree in our back yard and a large tree in our front yard. We had to have the Elm pruned before 4/15 and he was able to squeeze us in with no issues. His pricing is on point and is professionalism and knowledge was impressive. He even worked on a small maple tree for us at no charge and helped out my neighbor with a tree he was having issues with and didn’t blink an eye! I will have Daniel and team back for future work! I 100% recommend them!
