ATK Home Services was outstanding. Just used their services for a water heater replacement. Extremely professional. Kept me informed through the installation process. Very knowledgeable. Both service technicians were very friendly. Highly recommend ATK Home Services.

They came out to my home to diagnose and fix a plumbing issue under my home warranty. They got the approval and scheduled a for Friday between 8am and 12pm. I called around 915am. No response. I called my warranty company and they reached out to them, still no response. It's 2:30pm and still no response. They left me with a sink with no hot water, time off missed to be here at their scheduled time, and still no response to do the work. I would not recommend them.

This company was sent, by American Home Shield Warranty, to my daughter's house for replacing broken faucet handles. The request was placed on July 14, it is now Aug 23 and still no replaced faucets. As a matter a fact, they caused more of an issue by putting in a faucet, without a mixer device, that was against City code and left my daughter with leaking pipes/faucets that they were to come back and fix. So, after having to call another plumber to stop the leaks, we are still waiting for the faucets to be fixed. They don't answer the phone nor call you when they are contacted by the Warranty Company. As it stands today, I would not recommend this company to anyone. I did not want to give them any stars.

ATK came out to fix my water heater. Contacted me on Sunday about coming by Monday to get it fixed. Called before arriving and was able to come out earlier to look at the problem.
The problem was fixed in less than 20 minutes. The technician was extremely polite, knowledgeable, and personable.

If I could give this company a zero star or even a negative star I would. Do not work this this company even with your warranty. First I called for a stoppage and their Auger got stuck in my drain. It was there for about 2-3 weeks. And I quote “ call another company and when they get our auger out call us to get it back”. They told me my sewage line was broken or cracked. It is not. They came back out to fix the sink leak they claimed to had fixed at their prior visit but instead left my sink stopped up. They came to fix it but had to go get acid to help it drain but never came back and ignores my calls and hang up on me. Do not work with this company.

Update: The response from the company is inaccurate. Why would I or the warranty cover cost that is not needed. You all wanted to go into concrete blind off of a thought. I asked for it to be scoped. It was refused. I was willing to pay out of pocket but it was refused. I don’t understand how you could do more damage than good.

What a joke and a disgusting response. This is why you carry insurance and you should own up to your mistakes. Nope you didn’t arrive at my home to a “flooded home”. I don’t know what “statement” you made/had your employees sign but it’s irrelevant because it’s fictitious. You were there for a job, to fix a toilet shut off valve that wasn’t leaking but wouldn’t shut off water flow to the toilet if required. You didn’t tighten the nut on the toilet basin after you replaced the shut off valve which then flooded my basement. The photos you have are after you came and inspected the damage, you then refused to share your insurance information with Nationwide who presently continue to chase you for this. As for your photos, I challenge you to share the originals with the time stamp of when they were taken. This will be after your “repair” visit. It’s nice to know you’re still alive and are able to communicate, so it would be nice to have a real conversation and for you to share your insurance information so our insurance companies can work it out together. Only then will I pull this negative review, negligent/deplorable behavior.

Flooded my basement in mid 2023 and refused to pass insurance information, my current insurance continues to try and get their information.

This company was sent to me by American Home Shield and what a terrible experience! The absolute WORST communication!! They don’t answer the phone, IF they Finally get around to calling you back it’s at 7am. When you miss the call and call them right back they don’t answer. They don’t respond to voicemail and texts. They don’t show up for scheduled appointments, nor call and let you know what’s going on. Ray, the owner has a lot of excuses and attitude to go with it. Needless to say, I fired them before the work was completed. Then to find out they turned in the work order to the insurance company as “job completed”. NO, it wasn’t completed, it never even got started. Why??? Because they can’t answer a phone, poor communication and customer service and can’t show up when scheduled. Would definitely NOT recommend this company!!

I recently had the pleasure of getting my hot water heater installed, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. From the outset, their team showcased professionalism and efficiency. They arrived on time, neatly dressed, and prepared with all the necessary tools. The installation process was smooth and quick, without any disruption to my daily schedule. What stood out was their attention to detail and the cleanliness of their work area after the job was done. Not only was the team friendly and respectful, but they also took the time to explain the operation and maintenance of the new unit thoroughly. Their commitment to providing excellent service was evident in every interaction. I highly recommend ATK Home Services and Plumbing Co for their outstanding service and professional team. They've certainly set a high standard for home service and plumbing needs!

It’s apparent from previous reviews and my own experience that this company, ATK Services, is not concerned about their customers who have a service request through a home warranty. We have American Home Shield and put in a service request on 10/1/2025. They stated that we would get a call from our “Service Pro” within 24 hours. Call never came, so I called them, left a voicemail on 10/2/25. Didn’t get a call back until the morning of 10/3/25, in which the owner Ray did not seem concerned about our service request and said they would try to get someone out that day but they have been “really busy” and that he can “see if his guy can come out tomorrow, but we don’t work weekends”. He also stated to me to “just turn your water on when you need to use it and turn it back off when you’re not using it”. What a joke. Their website and social media advertises that the company responds 24/7, 365, which is a lie and false advertising. You should NOT be doing business with a home warranty company if you can’t honor your 24/7 365 advertising. Customers of AMERICAN HOME SHIELD home warranty please be warned and save yourself hassle and frustration- DO NOT EXPECT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE OR PROMPT SERVICE from ATK Services. Take your business elsewhere.
