Extremely professional, flexible, and knowledgeable about irrigation systems. Salinas & Sons just won over my business because they are more attentive, thorough, and less expensive than the irrigation system company I have been using for the past 24 years. They fit me into their schedule, so my issues were resolved in less than 2 days! I usually have to wait at least 2 weeks for the other company. They also worked with the back-flow valve I purchased online rather than insisting I purchase the parts from them. I highly recommend Salinas & Sons. Awesome experience!

We recently had a new sprinkler system installed by Salinas & Sons. They were easy to work with, showed up on time, very professional and respectful. They were reasonably priced - middle of the road in terms of the quotes we received, but excellent service and well worth it. They also came back out and adjusted/added a few sprinkler heads once our landscaping work was complete to ensure that all areas of our yard were properly covered. Overall, they did a great job and we would highly recommend.

We decided on Salinas and Sons based off all their positive reviews. We are very pleased with our new sprinkler system. It was a great experience working with Fabian and Ismael they were very knowledgeable, professional and took the time to answer all my questions. After the install I requested a change on my system and they came out immediately and made that change for me. They have been great to work with I would recommend them to anyone that is wanting a quality sprinkler system installed by great people!

It started with the visit from Fabian who was great at explaining everything and was patient answering my questions. When Mr. Salinas showed up with his team was the nicest man you could ever meet. His team was professional and did the work in one day with the end result being a fantastic new sprinkler system.

We decided to go with Salinas and Sons for our irrigation system because of all the good reviews they had (their quote also was the best compared with some other company we asked).
They are even more professional and efficient than I expected. Fabian is very helpful and incredibly responsive. The plumber that they send to connect the irrigation system had forgotten to seal the hole around a copper pipe that was going in the house. Not a huge problem but we needed to close it to prevent any mice from coming in the house. I asked Fabian if he can let the plumber know to come back and fix it but they came by on the same day and fixed it themselves.
Salinas and Sons are a great company we know we can count on. Highly recommended.

I hired this company to inspect a sprinkler system on our new house and to get the system up and running. The guys that came inspected everything and said we had a number of valves that needed to be replaced, however, the remaining ones didn’t have that much life left and they would give us a discount to replace them all.
We didn’t know much about sprinkler systems at the time and agreed to have them replace all valves as well as replace any broken sprinkler heads and to have the whole system working properly. We spent thousands of dollars which was a shock but at least everything was working well. Or so we thought.

We had them come out to fix a couple sprinkler heads that a landscaping company had damaged and we discovered a lot of the work we paid for was never done. We have 16 valves and only 11 were replaced. Entire zones weren’t even hooked up to the system and so many sprinkler heads were still broken. They did some work and sent me a bill for $1000 which I refused to pay.

They just sent totals for amounts and listed “valves” or “sprinkler heads” but no details on invoices. So I reached out and asked for everything itemized. I wanted all the details for everything I had paid for. I reached out a year later and asked the same thing. They never responded.

I had a different company come out who told me valves almost never need to be replaced and the ones that were never done are working fine. I feel scammed by this company and now have to pay thousands to another company to come fix the mess they left.

I have been using Salas since I bought my home in Northfield. Oscar is fantastic! Knowledgeable, expert, responsive, communicative and very fair. I highly recommend Salas Sprinkler.

Mr. Salinas' family irrigation business is outstanding! We had an irrigation system installation with 10 of the most hard working people you can find in almost 100 degree heat index conditions. They worked the entire day until 6 pm for completion of the job. If you go around to several subdivisions you will see their trucks on an installation probably. We asked several people who they recommended (4) and all said go with Salinas and Sons. Mr. Salinas and his family usually have an entire installation/day so they are very busy!! Along with these professionals in the field there also is a very friendly and knowledgeable staff taking care of numerous things that are transparent to the customer in order to help this great business take care of you. I think you'd have to look high and low in order to find a company with their decades of total experience along with the personal touch for you, the customer. Go with the best, Salinas and Sons!

I had the pleasure of working very closely on the BRAND NEW INSTALLATION of a Hunter Sprinkler System with Ismael. From the day I met Ismael for the initial estimate until the job was completed, he went above and beyond to make sure every "I" was dotted and "T" was crossed and as the customer we were satisfied. Britzy, who was my main point of contact was amazing was thorough in her communication and responded quickly to any questions quickly throughout the whole process...from signing of the contract, Village of Norridge permit, follow up after final inspection and even a follow up email to see if everything was working to our satisfaction and if there anything needed adjusted or changed. When I was gathering quotes, their quote wasn't the lowest, but it wasn't the highest, however, for the size of our corner lot I felt confident in the work they would do and their quote was fair. I also am a firm believer in supporting SMALL FAMILY BUSINESSES. They were very cooperative, answered every question I threw at them and went above and beyond when I requested a different Hunter Controller and in the end were able to meet my request. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND SALINAS AND SONS. The whole family is AWESOME to work with and the workers whether they are family are not CARE and make sure the CUSTOMER is FIRST!! THANK YOU!!

On 10/4/24 we had a lawn irrigation system installed by Salinas & Sons, and they did an outstanding job from start to finish. They were extremely thorough in explaining the work they were doing and took great care in the installation process, ensuring everything was done properly. Their attention to detail was impressive. What really stood out was their follow-up service—they sent someone out to assist with the app on my phone, making sure we were comfortable using it to control the system. Overall, their professionalism and customer service were top-notch. Highly recommend!

Wanted to wait a year of installation and services before a review...and we are extremely pleased with Salinas and Sons.
Our heavily landscaped yard needed a lot of watering (such a time commitment) and was showing signs of diminishment. We researched a few of the options in our area and Salinas came out on top with installation, quality of equipment, fair pricing, and continued servicing, and that research has proven to come to reality after a year with their system.
Installation went very well. Every area is covered perfectly with the right heads. Salinas walked me through my App to manage the system and had me program and test varying aspects while they were there.
The system has worked perfectly and has restored our yard and grass. Staff for shut down and start up are professional and very friendly.
Finally, I feel their prices, for the quality we received, were quite fair and competitive. We highly recommend Salinas and Sons for irrigation needs!

Salinas & Sons are a very professional company. They gave us the best estimate of all the companies we contacted. They worked with us to provide what we needed for HOA approval, even over the weekend. The day of installation was very rainy and cool. They worked almost nonstop. We needed a couple of adjustments and they responded quickly. The office staff is also excellent. They responded quickly to any questions we had and followed up to assure we were satisfied.

I contracted with Salinas and sons after getting 5 bids. Family run company with very dedicated , customer service friendly people. They were very competitive from a price standpoint and guided me the entire way on the install. Day of install went very well and took 1.5 days. Afterwards they walked me through the zones, trained me on the timer and override feature and even replaced my 30yo water main shut off value with a modern day ball joint value. I would highly recommend them for your sprinkler installation project and plan to contract with them for annual maintenance.
