Tree reviews in Westmont, Illinois

I needed a local service quickly to remove (2) dead trees that had insect damage. They are 2 blocks away, and I was excited to get the chance to use them. Tom & Max (Tomax), get-it, are salt of the Earth Gentlemen. They fit me in their schedule, and Max took care of a small evergreen extra, while he was here. The crew was polite as well. Great service, good prices and fast. Call them first, especially if your local. Remember the insurance companies know your trees need trimming, and their not afraid to drop your coverage, if you tend to neglect this hazard.

Highly recommend. We have used them on 2 jobs now dealing with rental properties. Tenants at both properties were extremely pleased with the work that was done and the clean up as well. Fast service. Great communication and VERY reasonable prices.

We had a great experience with Tomax. The team is very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They provided tree trimming and stump grinding for us and both processes were seamless and turned out great. We highly recommend them.

I hired Tomax on the basis of recommendations made on Nextdoor and am glad I did. Tom is a real professional who asked me to get him all the drawings for my backyard so that they could remove the tree and stump without harming any irrigation or electrical lines. Tom also had the utility service come out to mark all lines. The tree was taken down by Tom and his crew professionally and cleanly, and then the stump was expertly and carefully removed by Joe, who also cleaned up afterwards. Tomax is the best!

Always a great job by Tom and the team for regular maintenance, trimming and after big storms for emergency cleanup. Years of friendly, reliable and excellent service!

I asked for quotes from 6 different services in my area. I received 3. The first was from Tom from Tomax and it ended up being the best. They were flexible on timing, on time for the service, and cleaned up nicely after they were done. I am very satisfied with their work and will be calling them first in the future when I need more tree work done. 5 stars, do not hesitate to call!

Tom and the team have helped take down multiple trees/branches for us (on very old very tall trees!!) and always do a great job. They are very professional, clean up after, and the price is fair!

I can’t say enough good things about this company! Fast, reliable, excellent work and fair pricing. They answered their phone when I was frantically calling around on a Saturday morning, trying to find someone to help me get a fallen tree off of my and my neighbor’s lawn. Not only did they answer the phone on the first call, they were at my front door within 30 minutes and had the tree cleared within an hour. Even with what must have been a busy night and a busy morning, Tom still patiently answered my questions and assessed the rest of the trees on my property while was there. He then had a crew out within a few days to remove the other trees likely to fall soon. Highly recommend!!

Tomax is great. They were reasonably priced, responsive, tidy, and efficient. The team communicated when he would be by to do the work, they arrived on time and with both visits left the space cleaner than it was when they started. I would highly recommend Tomax for any tree service needs.

Tom and his crew did an excellent job removing a 30 year old tree and stump from our yard. We highly recommend Tomax!

I’ve been using these guys since I moved into Clarendon Hills in 2020. They have removed almost all the trees from my property and now they trim all the new trees I have planted. Great service, always reliable, and good prices. I recommend them to all my friends and family, can’t go wrong here.

We had a great experience with Tomax! We heard about them from our neighbor when we were talking about removing large trees and bushes on our property. Tom is very accommodating and was able to come out for a quote the same day I called, and the job was completed within a week! He’s also very thorough, explained the process to me and my husband, making sure we knew they would be careful around the existing sprinkler system. They were quick and efficient - and my kids loved watching them work! They offered a price well below other quotes and made the everything seamless. I highly recommend using Tomax tree removal services - everything was done perfectly!

I highly recommend Tomax Tree Services. Tom was my contact and he answered all of my questions, discussed the work to be performed, showed up when I was told they would, and came in exactly or just below the original quote. Tom worked well with my neighbors as a lift truck had to be used to reach a tree and the crew cleaned up the area so well that you didn’t even know any limbs had been taken down!
I have used Tomax Tree Services twice now and will absolutely contact Tom/Tomax again for future tree-care needs.

Great service. Professional and knowledgeable. Very responsive when we called.

After getting 3 estimates, Tomax beat the competition by a TON, plus my brother-in-law had recommended them. Tom promised the clean up would be immaculate and he was spot on. Not only are they reasonably priced, but the quality of work is outstanding and you can’t even tell we had trees taken down the cleanup was done so well. They’re our new go-to tree guys. Hands down.

Would not use any other tree service in my area. Fair pricing (not the cheapest), great service, excellent clean up, prompt response.

Tom from Tomax Tree Service and his entire team were fantastic to work with. His pricing is very fair and his crew did an amazing job. We had him out for two separate tree removals and both times they did a great job without any surprises. I highly recommend TOMAX to anyone who needs tree removal or Tree limbs removed/cut down.

Tomax was amazing. They came out promptly and gave me a really fair quote. Day of service was great - expertise trimming of our trees and the clean up was outstanding. As if they were never here. I would highly recommend Tom and Tomax Tree Service!

Tomas tree service did a wonderful job for us. Called them at the last minute to clean up branches left from a storm. I would definitely use them again for future tree service needs. Crew was awesome and friendly.

Highly recommend! The only tree service that we will use. Thank you Tom and crew for another great job!

Tom and his team were excellent to work with. Access to the tree to be removed was tight but Tom was willing to troubleshoot and work around the challenge. I was extremely impressed with the professionalism of the job once complete. I would absolutely work with them or recommend.
