Maxson Heating and AC installed a new TRANE condensor and evaporator, along with a humidity control unit in our house. Their technicians were competent, respectful and thorough. We highly recommend Maxson for your HVAC needs. You will be glad you did.

Got a new furnace and AC unit back in 2020 from Maxson Heating & Air and already had to replace the gas valve on my furnace.
Not the best time of the year to be without heat but I have to say they were pretty prompt on coming out the same day I called.
Luckily enough the part was covered under warranty but the service charge/insulation fees were more than I expected.
I got the owner on the phone and asked him to work with me with the cost and he did.

We had an excellent experience with Maxson when they replaced our aging furnace/ac system with a hybrid system based on a cold-climate heat pump and 97% efficient furnace. The install went smoothly and we're quite happy with the Daikin equipment they installed. Pricing was reasonable, lower than competing quotes including traditional equipment with inferior performance specs. Everyone at Maxson was helpful and informative, from the office manager to the installers to the owner. Based on our experience so far, I would recommend Maxson without reservation.

We have been using Maxson for years. Installation of air conditioner and furnace. Also using for annual maintenance and a repair for an issue caused by failure of Commonwealth Edison equipment. Always responsive and they do great work.

Maxson is great! Steve and team went above and beyond, literally going the extra mile; driving an hour to pick up a new motor for my struggling AC unit. Since the motor swap, our house has been cooling efficiently. Amazing service!

I can’t say enough good things about Maxson heating and air conditioning. I had an issue and it was resolved very quickly. I totally trust them to do everything for my home! I also had my water heater installed with them. All their staff is always friendly and very efficient.

Our AC went out just before the 4th of July when temperatures were in the upper 90s. Maxson loaned us two portable AC units until after the holiday when they could install the new furnace and AC. Everyone was very friendly and professional.

Steve and the team did a nice job replacing two HVAC systems in our house with heat pumps and at a reasonable price. Would recommend.

I was referred to Maxson from the firm (Pivotal Home Solutions) I have used for many years to service my furnaces because they were too busy. One of my two furnaces, Pivotal had serviced 3 weeks previously, wasn't heating properly. Steve, from Maxson showed up just a few hours after I had contacted Pivotal. Steve told me he was the owner of the business. He was professional, kind and most of all--knew what he was doing and explained the issues to me in plain English--in short, the furnace had not been serviced properly as there was debris in the furnace PVC intake pipe as well as the trap--something I have been paying Pivotal for years to do. Steve also identified a crack in the heat exchanger that means the furnace should be replaced fairly soon. In addition, Steve discovered the humidifier on my other furnace was not working--something Pivotal should have tested and advised me of the appropriate repair--unless it failed in the 3 weeks since they serviced it--in my mind, highly unlikely.

I will be likely replacing both of my furnaces and related air conditioners in the Spring and Maxson will be high on my list to perform this job and using Pivotal will be a thing of the past. Pivotal did follow up with me on the above described issue but only offered to reimburse me about 50% of the repair cost I paid Maxson. I promptly said no—I want 100% of my repair cost paid for. Steve had to perform the service all over again and identified important issues that Pivotal should have alerted me to.

In July 2025, Maxson installed a new HVAC system to replace my almost 30 year old system. I found their offer to be the best value, in today's market, for name brand product. Working with Steve, the owner, was easy with personal on site attention to my specific application. The installers, Dave & Jose, were great and did a very professional job. I highly recommend Maxon! You owe it to yourself to check them out.

I highly recommend MAXSON for all HVAC repairs, maintenance, and replacement of older equipment. I’ve had my A/C Unit replaced with updated equipment, and get Winter and Summer preventative maintenance for my heating and cooling. They are clean, timely, and reliable.

Maxson was really helpful when I was replacing an old furnace. Their price came back the best and Steve just seemed like a genuine guy you want to do business with.

My furnace went out on a very cold day in December. I actually did not have to pay anything extra. I have a service plan that I pay monthly. I did not have to pay any extra money for Steve to come out to my home twice in one day. Steve had to come out twice because he didn’t have the part for my furnace. My home is not very convenient to their usual area of coverage, so I appreciate that my furnace was fixed by 2:30 that day. I’m sure the travel took a lot of time that day. I also appreciate the office staff. I was able to talk to someone on the phone multiple times. Thank you!
