All reviews for Thoma's Tree Service

Thomas crew did a professional, skillful and safe job downing a 40+yrs old very tall tree, in a tight space, with a reasonable price. The cleaning afterward was very thorough.

The team is fast, efficient and does a great job. They were careful with our yard and cleaned up well. They worked with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Incredible service and very affordable.

Thoma and his crew were very polite, efficient, organized and fast. They took down three trees and grinded the stumps all in 2.5 hours. They undeniably are the experts in this field. Their low price is unbeatable, literally. They cleaned the yard afterwards and closed up all loose ends as if nothing had happened at the end. They did an incredible job! Will use their service again. They are highly recommended!

Thoma is extremely knowledgeable and his crew did an amazing job. Plus the pricing was very reasonable. They took down two very large evergreens, trimmed several trees on my lot, removed all debris (except for a few logs for the fire pit) all in one afternoon. Came back the next day to take care of the stumps. Meticulous!! Very pleased with both quality and value. Highly recommended!!

Thoma's has the experience to take down your tree safely and quickly. The first tree they took down for me was in 1994 and they have continued to do great work. You will be pleased with their work, don't hesitate to call them to come out and look at what you would like to have done.

We've used Thoma for tree trimming and tree removal. His team is professional, efficient, and affordable. Both jobs were related to storm damage and he was able to come perform the work within 24 hours. I would highly recommend.

Have used Thoma’s twice in the past few years. I find them to be responsive, fairly priced and conscientious in their work. Both times the work was completed while I was actually at work and no one was home. They do what they say will do and clean up nicely. I would recommend them to anyone who needs trees removed or trimmed and I will definitely use them again next time I’m in need. Thoma actually answered his phone when I called even though he was on vacation in Greece and had his son return my call, give me an estimate and schedule and do the work. That’s service! Thoma’s rocks!!!

We’ve used Thoma for a few tree trimming projects and a couple of complete removals and their work is second to none! Great crew, fair prices too! Crew always cleans up after themselves. Responsible and I would highly recommend using them!

Toma and his crew were able to give a quote and do the work the next day! They were knowledgable, fast, efficient and did the job very well! Would absolutely recommend him!

My cat got out and was stuck in a tree overnight. It was Sunday and was so hard to find someone to help. My daughter contacted them and they showed up in 20 minutes. He had my cat out of the tree in a half hour. I’m am so beyond grateful to them and how wonderful they are. Highly recommend them for any service!

Thoma and crew helped me with a large tree removal and even larger tree pruning. Not only was it a great price, but I was blown away by how fast, efficient and effective the crew worked through the job. It was a nice bonus that they literally left the yard cleaner than it was before they got here. Highly recommend and will 100% be calling them again when needed.

Thoma and his experienced crew have worked with us for the past 5 years and have always given us professional high quality service at a fair price. His climbers and support crew are very knowledgable, safe, and courteous. Jobs well done!

Highly recommend Thoma's Tree Service! They promptly came out and provided an estimate for some tree trimming we wanted to have done. The morning of the trimming both the owners came out and supervised the entire process. I also ended up getting an entire tree cut down and two of my neighbors also decided to get trees cut down by them on the same day. I also felt their price was very fair. Everything was neatly cleaned up afterwards and the owner even helped me transfer mulch from the pine stump that was ground to my wheelbarrow so I could spread it around my garden.

So very, very happy with Thoma's Tree Service. I had them remove a silver maple in my yard that was rotted out. I got 4 quotes and Thoma beat them all. They removed the maple, ground the stump down about 12 inches, and asked if I wanted the wood chips removed. Fortunately for me, I had a need for more mulch in my flower beds.
They were fast, efficient, and neat.
Thoma and his crew do all the work. His wife does the office work. They gave me a quote same day I called. I waited for the other quotes to come in. Once I decided on Thoma, they were here the next day. Can't say that always happens. He beat the highest quote by $900.
He is extremely easy to work with.
I've read all the other reviews here on Google. The negative reviews were nothing like what I saw and worked with.
Highly recommend this group. They are very close to the Wheaton area, if not in it (I don't remember).
Very Very Happy.

Thoma and his crew were incredibly hard working, efficient, and considerate in doing some tree removal and trimming on my property. He has earned my loyalty as a customer and I won't hesitate to give him a call the next time I need help.

Thoma’s tree service removed a huge dead pine tree from our backyard. They were amazing! They were timely, efficient, reasonably priced and incredibly skilled. we have already referred them to neighbors and will 100% use them again for any future tree needs. Highly recommend!

Thoma"s Tree Service is a FANTASTIC Tree Removal Company!
We can not recommend this tree service enough.
I received my initial quote for tree removal within a day of contacting them. They were able to work with my short timeline of being home while they did the work. They called the utilitiy company and took care of everything! Thoma kept me up informed throughout the project.
We had an enormous tree (too close to our house) that we have been "dealing with" and cutting $$$$ back for over ten years.
They removed it safely and covered the roof and windows for extra precaution. After removal they cleaned up our area and our neighbor's bed on the other side of the fence from where the tree was removed!
Thoma was present and made sure all was done to my satisfaction. Following removal they returned to remove the over 5 foot circumference stump.
Efficient, professional, knowledgeable and fair pricing.
They are now in my contacts on my phone.
Thank you Thoma Tree Services

They were the best price of two estimates for removing a tree from the front yard and grinding the stump. They were fast and cleaned up well. I will use again when needed.

Fast, efficient, and affordable. They cut down an absolute behemoth of a tree in my back yard, was surprised at how quickly they were able to get it done (~6 hours). Thoma stayed after to spray down the dirty areas of my driveway and clean up the yard. Will definitely use them again.

I should of wrote a review so long ago. This company is amazing. Low price best crew and they actually care. You will not be disappointed at all. We found them after we used a local company who ruined our lawn. So please give them a shot you will not be disappointed

Thoma and his team are awesome. This is the second job they’ve done for us. They took care of our tree that fell from the storm, came next day, and had quick and efficient service with good clean up. We highly recommend them to anyone!
