We accepted an offer on our home in Forest Park. The inspection found a serious issue with the sewer line from the house that we were unaware of. We engaged Franzen to diagnose the problem and do the repair. It was urgent as the issue arose just a few weeks until closing on the sale and was a condition of the sale going through. Franzen was the right choice for many reasons: they responded immediately, identified the problem, and were on site in days to do the repair, which involved moving the water heater, cutting into the cement basement floor to access the stack connection to the sewer pipe, replacing the junction of the two pipes, and installing an access to the line inside the house for future maintenance. Franzen is family owned and when I called the office, I dealt with the owners and received warm and friendly service. I was also in contact with the team they sent out to do the work. They arrived promptly, worked efficiently, explained fully the work they were doing, and shared pictures of the work in progress. Their work was done and the repair site in the basement looks great. Video of the line showed no blockage. They provided a detailed report which we shared with the buyer’s agent and attorney and the sale closed on time to everyone’s satisfaction. Another benefit is that Franzen has worked closely with the Village and was able to take the lead on getting the required permit.

A lot could be said about a company and how their employees drive. I was on the highway and a frozen vehicle was cutting in and out of lanes skipping lanes and driving on the shoulder to get in front of everybody if this is a reflection of their employees I would never want them at my house. I have video of this employee on my dash cam be glad to put it on YouTube for everyone to see
