Reviews of local pros in Chesterton, Indiana

I called Justin about a small job due to positive reviews and he is located in the town I live in. I patiently waited for him to be available to do the work for 3 weeks. I understand he wanted to give his attention to bigger projects that are probably more lucrative for him. He assured me he would fit the work at my house in. But he never showed up and never informed me otherwise. This is the second time he has stood me up in 5 years. He is completely unreliable.

You said "probably next week" when I spoke to you. You never mentioned being seven weeks out. As I said, I didnt expect immediate service. You dont provide any feedback in follow calls. It would be nice to hear from you that you havent forgotten about the job. Why didnt I hear back from you regarding the first job years ago? I wish you the best. I do. But I was left hanging.

Great crew. Owner gave an estimate and the next day the work was done. They removed a large tree from a shed without causing any more damage. Also cut down additional trees in the property near the house. Crew was professional and worked very efficiently together. And friendly. Honest and professional, what more can you ask for? Highly recommend before using one of the big name companies!!!! I would definitely use them again.

Justin's cleared several large storm damaged trees from a commercial property for us, they met our need for same day service, were professional but still personable, communicative, and did great work. We will definitely use them again if the need arises. Highly recommend!

Justin’s tree service very good service, all the guys are freindly , efficient and quick. They did a wonderful job ,would not hesitate to call him again, also affordable. One of the best companies I’ve worked with . Thank you

The crew from Justin's was AWESOME! They went above and beyond to make sure that what I needed was taken care of efficiently and quickly and the price was more than fair. Response time was fast and it was less than week from initial contact to completion of the job. I will use them again!

I have used Justin's tree service twice and had an excellent experience both times. They quoted the job quickly, with a great price, and were able to do the job in a timely fashion! Very professional throughout the entire process! All my recommendations will be guided to Justin in the future. Thank you for a job well done!

Very professional and competitively priced. When Justin gave me an estimate, there was no attempt to run up the bill by recommending unnecessary work. Justin's crew spent most of a day removing my dead trees and trimming live ones. They were very focused on safety and avoiding any damage to my lawn and home. All workers were courteous and worked hard the entire time. Their cleanup at the end of the day exceeded my expectations.

I am a fan. I have used three different tree services on our 3 acres. To say Justin and his crew are great really doesn't capture how attentive they are and how absolutely devoted they are to making sure their customers are satisfied. Not just satisfied, but delighted. You will not be disappointed in their work, their attitudes or their results.

Pleasure to work with, and great results too. Trimmed our trees for a more beautiful and safe yard.

I had a very large job to do, removal of 11 very large trees, additional limbs + stumps, some of which were overhanging my home, my neighbors home and power lines. Justin and his crew arrived early, brought his whole crew, and got right to work. At any particular time, they were working on 2-3 areas and within a couple of hours it was amazing how much progress they had made. The whole job took 2 days, but that was only because of the rain we had halfway through day 1. Justin and the crew were great to work with and they did a great job getting everything down and cleaned up. The next time I need to do tree work, Justin's my go to place now. While the job was not inexpensive, I do feel I got a lot of value for my investment.

Justin's had the best price,by far, to remove two tall trees in our yard. The crew came and were, fast, efficient, professional and cleaned up nicely. They also did a tree and stump removal for my next door neighbor. We highly recommend Justin's Tree Service. Great Job!

We have called Justin's Tree Service for both emergency and non-emergency tree issues at our home. Justin is great to work with. He and his crew always do an excellent job and we will not hesitate to call them in the future. Couldn't be happier with their work and their prices!

Excellent! I had 4 large trees removed and one trimmed a bit. The price was reasonable and Justin worked with my schedule to get the job done. The crew did an awesome job and was done much quicker than I would have thought. I would recommend Justin and his crew without hesitation to anyone who needs tree work in northwest Indiana.

Highly recommended. They responded very quickly, provided an estimate the same day, and took care of the tree removal the next day. Very courteous and professional.

Justin and crew did a fantastic job trimming back trees from my roof and a great clean up job. Justin was always quick to respond when I would text him. I will absolutely use Justin’s Tree Service in the future. Great work for a fair price.

I had half of an oak tree fall on July 4th this year (2024) and after searching for availability and pricing estimates, not only was Justin's the best price, but they were literally able to come the very next day to remove the overhanging limbs that troubled me.

He said it would probably take a couple hours... it took far less. He came with a hardworking team... They raked up miscellaneous debris/leaves and left my yard spotless. They were extremely attentive to my irrigation system as well, properly marking my sprinkler heads so their crane/lift didn't drive over any of them. I also asked to keep the wood from this good oak tree and they kindly (as the sections dropped from the sky) layered it in the tree line so as not to be resting on my grass. They offered to chop it smaller, but I was grateful enough with their work that I left the limbs as is.

No only that, I was communicated to with such respect and kindness. "yes ma'am", ... Gosh you just don't hear that anymore. Every one of them were so kind-hearted. I don't think a lot of businesses realize how IMPORTANT those little things are to 'us'.

I watched them do the whole job ...I never saw how it's done and so was curious and was very impressed. It's a dangerous job. They worked hard, and not only were they the hardworking "Marlboro Men" of old... they were gentlemen...

They did a speedy, thorough, top-notch job and will be my 'go-to' for any future needs.

Thank you Justin and team for a job very well done!

Wow!!! What a great tree service Justin's Tree Service is!!! Justin came out to give the estimate as he promised and was on time. Justin always answers the phone and is able to be reached at all times. The price was reasonable and on target. The job he and his crew did was terrific! They did not destroy the yard and cleaned up their mess impeccably. They cut down 3 trees and cleaned up within several hours. The crew was courteous and did their job well!! We would recommend Justin and his tree service to anyone. What a quality guy and a terrific company he owns!!!

Excellent service. Great price. Efficient. Justin’s crew did a great job. I will definitely use their services in the future.

Justin and his crew removed four trees from our lot. One was a very large oak leaning over our home. It was safely taken down and removed from our lot. His communication was excellent, and his prices were competitive. Terry, one of his workers, was exceptionally respectful of our property. We recommend them to anyone needing tree removal. He was also fully insured and bonded, and had the credentials on file with the city.

Justin and his crew did excellent work on my two 30 year old maples. They were street side so that made it easy for the trucks and machinery to cut them down and stump grind both. They left the front yard cleaner than before they got started. I would highly recommend Justin's Tree Service!

If I could give these guys 10 stars, I would. We got several quotes from around the area and Justin's was by far the most affordable, plus he offered to tack on several smaller services (additional stump grinding and removing some old debris from our woods) for free. They are always on time, very responsive, and go above and beyond to clean up when they are done. Our yard and driveway are seriously cleaner than before they came! We will always use these guys and recommend them to everyone we know in the area. Don't hire anyone else!
