We had a 7 year old dishwasher that was running very loud, shockingly loud. The technician came out and determined the motor was bad, and then advised it was under warranty. I didn't even realize it might have a warranty as it was already in the house when we bought it. He took the time to call the company for us, deal with their warranty department, and get it taken care of. Saved us $350 on a new motor. Very appreciative, our dishwasher is so quiet now, I can't believe it. It apparently has not been working right since we moved in because it was never this quiet!
