Reviews of local pros in Danville, Indiana

Wow! The entire experience with Adam was top-notch. He walked me through the process, was prompt and courteous with his communication, and did an excellent job removing all 8 stumps from our landscaping bed around our pool. He even made the 1.5 hour commute to our place and squeezed us in his schedule within 48 hours of my call. Would highly recommend Bowman Boys to anyone needing stump removal.

Great customer service! They returned my call the same day . Then they came out to give me a quote at my convenience & did an amazing job! I highly recommend them.

Had a 16 inch cherry stump removed. Prompt, efficient, good value, and very professional. If I ever need another stump ground this is the only company I will call. Thanks, Tim.

Had a pine tree stump that needed removed. Left my info and needs online through their website. Very quick to respond and because they were already going to be in the area had the stump removed the next day. Thanks Adam and your team for a job well done.

Bowman Boys took down three arborvitaes at our home that were way too large for the area they were in.
Adam and his associate were professional, on time, and the clean-up was amazing!
Can't say enough good things about their work as well as communication and clarity regarding cost.
Don't hesitate to give them a call - well worth it!

We had Adam out to our house to remove several stumps, and he did a great job at a very fair price. He is very professional, a good communicator, and cleaned up the area after he was done. We would highly recommend the Bowman Boys anytime!

Did a great job, made sure the root bulb was completely out.
Very reasonably priced. I will use them in the future.
Highly recommend.

These guys saved our bacon! Our job was complicated to put it mildly, and an emergency. We had a tree stump growing around an actively leaking water meter pit and had to remove enough of the stump so we could turn off the water...without cutting the incoming water main. It is difficult to describe all of the complexities we were facing, but essentially this job was done halfway underwater. There was nothing about this straightforward or easy. Adam showed up on site and just got busy helping us. He did whatever was needed to get the problem fixed. After about 4 hours of getting closer and closer to a solution, we finally got it under control. It was a total team effort. These guys are AMAZING and will be my first and only call if we ever need stumps removed again!

Professional. On time. Stayed on job. Very pleased with result. I have used other tree trimming companies, they don't compare to Menchhofer. I highly recommend them.

Menchhofer Tree Care did an excellent job removing one entire tree, grinding the stump, and then removing part of a tree that split from wind damage. Would both use again and recommend.

Reliable & safety minded. Great service & excellent cleanup. You get what you pay for with this family owned tree service.

If you value your trees, use this company! This is my second experience with them and both times they did excellent work and my tree looked much better without looking chopped up! Steve snd his son are awesome!

Steve knows his stuff man! Professional arborist is the definition of Steve. You can really tell he means business just off of the investments he has made in his equipment etc. By the end of jobs they clean up the mess and everything looks very good and is left the way it should be and needs to be. Can't ask for anything more out of a companies service and I'll use them in any future projects I can think up.

On time, very professional, did what they were contacted to do at a reasonable price. Had the necessary, well maintained, clean, well cared for equipment to do the job. Job was trimming (dead removal) in a huge very old, very tall Oak tree. Work area cleaned and debris taken away.

I own a part time tree business, & I refer some of my clients to this very reputable company when I don't have the equipment to do a particular job. For me to recommend someone, they have to be very good, because my reputation depends on it.

Fantastic job. Very professional Father and Son team. I was very impressed! From start to finish, impressive! 100 year old silver maple 🍁 over 100'. Used bands and cables to pull it all together ❤. Thinned it and cut out the dead wood. Cleaned up. Zip Zip ✔ done! Thank you.

Had requested a quote to remove a leaning dead ash tree and guidance on newly planted ergreens as they appeared to be dying. Very professional amd honest. Gave a lot of guidance and and professional opinion, and did not charge a dime. I will be using Menchhofer Tree Care in the future.

I’m really glad I chose this operation! They have state of the art automated , robotic equipment. They were in and out, less noise, less mess, very safe operation. I took quite a few quotes and the price was competitive for a much higher quality service. They removed a huge cottonwood tree that was very close to my house. You cannot go wrong with Menchhofer Tree Service!

This is our 2nd time using this company. They do a great job and they are very knowledgeable about the care and treatment of trees. Professional and do a great job with cleanup!

Fantastic job, guys are very knowledgeable and at a fair price. They take great care in the work they are doing. I had tree and stump removed and grindings removed and my yard looks great. I will always use them for taking care of my trees in the future. Great job guys. Thankyou.

I’ve used Menchhofer several times. I had a large tree come down this week and I called to have it removed. It’s his busy season , but he got my tree removed. The whole area was cleaned up without any damage to my yard. Excellent service, you’d never know I had a large tree fall into my yard.
