I called and ask for information and did not help answer questions at all, he said he was going to email some information and open house and no email.
Good way to run the business. Next builder please.

I can’t say they are good or bad but I called to get some prices on building a home and three days later still no call back? I wouldn’t want to work with a Builder who can’t take a few minutes and respond! I was told they would get back to Me!

Their work has been very good. Very professional crews. They built a custom home and garage for us. In 2016 and 2021.

Great people to work with from start to finish. Will continue to earn my business. Greg and Pam have been supportive and helpful throughout, and continue to be great resources for us as newbies to Fort Wayne.

Purchased a QCH home a year ago and have been delighted. Great floor plan with open spaces and a 3-car garage. Excellent workmanship. No maintenance repairs required thus far. I would definitely buy again.

Quality Crafted Homes is an incredibly professional company that does beautiful, quality work. Their staff is always quick to respond, friendly, and helpful with any questions. I would recommend them to anyone!

You see a company's true colors after the sale and Quality Crafted Homes has been very good in that regard. We had some issues with our new house, which is to be expected, but they have taken care of them in a professional way. It's rare that you get what you pay for these days. I always try to leave a review when a company meets or exceed my expectations. We are very happy that we purchased from them.

We have relocated many times for work, and this home by far is the most quality home we have purchased. You can feel the quality difference when you walk in. Design and detail are quite apparent. Large closets and lots of storage. The carpentry is excellent. So proud to own a Quality Crafted Home!!

Overall, we are fairly pleased with our Quality Crafted home. I wanted to wait a few years to write this review to allow time for us to settle into our new home. We built in 2019 with the previous owners who were very kind, but we feel they did not walk us through the build process thoroughly enough. There are many design decisions we would have done differently, as I'm sure many first-time home builders would have. However, there are a few things we wish we would've taken the time to research and inspect rather than just trust that they would be done correctly by such a reputable builder. One example - many of the fixtures QCH installed feel like they were the cheapest available at Menards and we will likely replace them at some point, including the doorknobs, hinges, and sink faucets (the faucet choices presented to us were either chrome or stainless and we had to pay extra to get stainless).

From a construction standpoint, we've discovered there were many corners cut, most of which can be attributed to the contractors/subs instead of QCH themselves. I noticed several things that needed fixed during the build process, including ductwork that had holes in it (would not recommend Korte btw). We paid an inspector to come after the build (should've hired him multiple times during the build in hindsight) and he found a gas leak in the furnace vent, again attributable to Korte, along with garage stairs that weren't up to code by not having a railing (he saved my step mother from a bad fall!), roofing repairs that were needed, and a gas line that was not properly supported in the attic which could've led to a leak. Also, a couple years after the build was completed I discovered a gas leak near the meter and called the gas company immediately to get it fixed, just one day prior to some contractors working near it as they were smoking cigarettes...that could've been deadly and disastrous.

Some minor things that have cropped up since the build include a couple squeaky floor areas that were remedied, drywall screw pops, west-facing garage doors that blow inward enough to blow the interior garage door open, and a few ethernet jacks that don't work. Our master bedroom is always the hottest room in the house, and we wish we would've sprung for a zoned air handler unit. From a plumbing standpoint, the toilet flanges were bolted through the flooring rather than directly to the floor, the Mansfield toilets are very difficult to clean (I would opt for American Standard), the whole-house recirculation circuit is not insulated at all, leading to a tremendous amount of heat wasted when the pump is running, and we've since had to install a second water heater because we ran out of hot water after about 7 minutes in the shower with laundry running. I consider these minor in the grand scheme of home building but wanted to mention them for prospective new home builders.

We understand things happen, and we're all human and make mistakes including contractors. QCH themselves have been very responsive when I do reach out for help, and most things from our punch out list have been addressed. The house is gorgeous, we like it a lot, and we love the area we built in. Despite being built on the lowest lot on our street, our yard was graded incredibly well and our sump pump has never run of its own accord, even in heavy storms. We love the built-ins and living room ceiling design, and structurally it seems to be holding up very well at 4.5 years old at the time of this writing. Most of the grievances we have with the house have either been fixed or can be fixed in the future, and the actual build process with QCH was very smooth. The house was completed in very good time (estimated ~6 months, it took 7 with some unpredictable weather delays!). Greg and Jed were incredible to work with as they helped address most of the punch out concerns. Since it's been a few years since our build, my hope is that QCH has been able to be more selective with their contractors and have a higher standard for quality moving forward!

Quality Crafted Homes is exactly what its name implies. QCH just finished our beautiful villa, and we couldn't be happier. The workmanship is impeccable, and the staff is top notch. We love our new home.

Quality Crafted Homes is the best builder in Northeast Indiana. I have been through many new construction homes and their product is truly like none other. They also are a family owned company with several generations and I think that is really special too. Building a home with them is an amazing experience. They are professional, organized & the customer service is top notch.

We built a new home with Quality Crafted and they were great to work with. As with any build, there are always a few issues that pop up but they handled them timely and to our satisfaction. We have told many people about our experience with them and give them high reviews! We are very happy with our new home thanks to the Quality Crafted team.

We absolutely love the build we did with Quality Crafted Homes. The finish is high quality resulting in a beautiful home.

The only reason not giving five stars is due to some challenges mid build with change of personnel resulting in some delays and poor communication from the replacement, but it was sorted pretty quickly once the issue was raised. Shout out to Scott for sorting things out!

Overall, we are VERY happy with the outcome and would build with them again.

Like craftsman tools, They are riding their old name with a crap new product. The quality craft of the past is no more. don’t be fooled by there reviews of old. They are not the same company. They are now a very unorganized rude company. They don’t care about you. They will string you along and never follow up. We have been in our house since January and they still aren’t done. Work is subpar. I see no difference in quality between our granite ridge home we built 8 years ago and this home quality crafted built. Only difference is the 2x6 walls and the massive price tag quality crafted has. Save your self 100’s of thousands of dollars. Our issue started in the beginning. I wanted both lots and owner went back and forth for month on if he would sell me both. He finally decided to sell both to us, but raised price on lots because he wouldn’t be building another house on lot 3. He signed a agreement with me stating I was able to buy both lots at a set amount with my septic to be on lot 3 which they said was approved by Allen County ( I have documents)so I could do whatever I wanted with the rest of land in the future. Allen county said I couldn’t put septic on lot 3 , they moved it back to lot 2 and now I can never sell any of the land cause of the lay out. They never were able to sell or build on lot 3 and took full advantage of me with lies. From there the whole build process was a nightmare. Different stories from everyone that works there when asked questions. Never answers questions or follow up with anything. They don’t care. We started to call contractors ourselves cause you couldn’t believe what they told us. See pics for many of the issues we faced. Backing up barn drain still not fixed, sinking deck, see deck picture they thought that was finished. flickering lights, bad cabinets, stained concrete, tile touching, open area for birds, cracked grout. Carpet seems showing, scratched windows, cracked basement floor, crooked beam, 2 different color stain, and much much more. This is just a example of the issues. Yes they have fixed some of them but all after we have moved in meaning many missed days of work and pay to be home for them to fix . This cost me money every time to be home for their mistakes with no compensation for my lost wages. This isn’t a smear, simply our experience and true issues we had. If you do decide to build with them, make sure you get everything that is in your contract. Before you sign to build with this over priced company, ask your self this .. if they are using the same contractors (electrician plumper hvac home lumber) as a builder that is much less , is a quality crafted home built home any better to justify price if it is same person doing the work? You can pick all the same finishes from the other builder and same person is installing it at a much lower price and less headaches.

Our home building experience with Quality Crafted Homes started by touring some of their model homes. It was during one of these tours that we saw a large hidden pantry which started our journey down the home building path. That hidden pantry and a nice size storage room became two elements that were paramount in our custom design of a ranch home without stairs. Quality Crafted Homes individuals who led us through the design and building process were flawless with their desire to help us build a home that would meet our needs. We cannot say enough about the quality of work from all contractors. We would absolutely recommend Quality Crafted Homes to anyone interested in making their dreams of a new home a reality!

We have been so happy with our Quality Crafted home since we moved in, September 2020. We love our pond lot and the view we have of trees around the pond. We built during Covid so some of our building supplies were difficult to find, but Quality Crafted builders continued to work to finish our home on time. The building process was very easy, we enjoyed watching the changes day to day. The quality of the contractors who built cabinets, the island in the kitchen, electrical, plumbing, painters, ceramic floors and shower, bricklayers and finishing work were all very skilled and did an excellent job for us. We would definitely build with Quality Crafted again. However, we love our home so much we have no plans to ever leave.

What a blessing it was to choose Quality Crafted Homes to build our new home…. From our first contact with Scott, to having Greg as our designer, and Sarah and Rachel to assist with décor decisions, and timing – we couldn’t have hoped for a better, more conscientious team. From design ideas to how our home is “tilted” on our lot, they were always attentive to our questions, concerns, and whims… They kept us “in the loop” every step along the way. We appreciate the relationship each of them builds with their customers.
The many “touches” they added were well thought-out, and Greg’s knack for design really made for the “Wow factor… We are still in wonder of the whole process…. Everyone at QCH helped to make it a most pleasurable experience…. Even in the midst of so many choices, and decisions…
Thank You, Quality Crafted Homes…. :)
