I decided to try Lowe’s in Indiana for my cleaning this year because overall the company had good reviews online and i listened to testimonials and the customer ratings and generally seemed good. They also had a promotion which i thought if they are as good then the sale is worth it. I had looked up several places and with their sale they were lower than most. Somethings to highlight: I called on Saturday and got an appointment for the following day Sunday so for availability it was a good turnaround. When he got to the home he took off his shoes without me even asking which was nice of him because sometimes people don’t ask and on snow days out you can tell everywhere they step when have a white tiles and cream carpet. I am generally a detailed oriented person so when i looked up the company they have testimonials and pictures of customers being shown the before and after videos video. I am not actually sure that the they actually have the equipment because i never saw it. When i inquired about it three different times i was dismissed. He reported the camera is in the car each time and would then say “but there is no point of using it as i will just take pictures with my phone and it’s good enough”. This is false advertising and i cannot tell you if the guy actually had the equipment or not. I told him at the start of the job i wanted to see the live view on video and he just went ahead and started work like i hadn’t even said anything. To give him benefit of the doubt i asked a second and a third time and he would just tell me there is no point seeing anything because just a picture from my phone is good enough. I can put my cell in the vent and just see the upper part and nothing beyond that hence why i ask to see the video view. The third time started to piss me off because if the equipment actually exists it really wouldn’t take that long to set up. In the pictures and videos they show you also taking time to address the air circulation vents which i never saw him touch any. When i inquired about it, he said he would just blow everything to the main line and the vacuum will catch it. I have several vents in my bedrooms upstairs which i know he cannot access without a ladder or step stool so again something i asked three times and he would dismiss or tell me he got it yet i know the only way to reach it is on a step stool and for his height there is no way he could get to it. I was sitting by the door as he was bringing tools in so i would have clearly witnessed him walking up the stairs with a step stool. The times i moved was to walk to the person cleaning during the job so i know what i saw and i also asked him as well. I know for a fact there are several vents he didn’t even touch in different rooms Just an FYI the ordorizer you smell it when first sprayed by the furnace. He had reported you would then smell it around the home even after through other rooms post turning the furnace on. Not quite after it dissipates first 10 mins or so you don’t smell anything later at all. I even went outside and walk back in the home to see if i could tell the difference and there isn’t . Also beware you may get the nudges to be told to add other things not in the package you ordered. It was hard to say if it’s just a sales pitch when you cannot even be shown on a camera when you make a request. He was a nice guy, i just wanted to him to honor my requests being i wasn’t asking for something the company had not advertised as part of the job and i didn’t appreciate just getting dismissed when requested for it. Interesting that the customer support says they don’t have the camera which means the tech was lieing to me each time i asked the question. Why not train your technicians to just be honest??? It would have gone a long way than being lied to & being dismissed. For customer service definitely room for improvement!! Just because you have the procedures doesn’t necessarily mean the jobs are always done right. And this review is for myself not posting on behalf of anyone.

After doing a lot research, I decided on using Lowes. I made sure to ask the nice fellow who came over if the price they quoted on the phone was the price he would be charging me today. Not once did he try upselling me. from what I've gathered, a lot of these companies will immediately try to upsell you, and provide services that you really don't need. This is what happened to my sister with another company, ended up paying almost $800! fellow came over, I showed him where all of the vents were, he covered them, then I showed him where the furnace was and he immediately got started. on top of the duct cleaning, he used a hospital-grade sanitizer and deodorizer. Our house smells fantastic, we have pets and allergies, so cleaning the air ducts with something that was LONG overdue. totally worth it. We'll definitely do business again. I am also recommending this company to anybody who is looking for an upfront honest business! Thanks!

Lowe's cleaned my air ducts and the technician Stefan was very thorough and explained the process. I asked around with several other quotes, but Lowes offers quality and superior work to back their services. I would definitely use them because of their quick and efficient service.
