I requested a lighting quote for our church, I had waited for almost two weeks, when I called them they said the company who make the light need to comes and look it our building to make sure it can hold it. If I don’t ask, they won’t call me or respond and I will be waiting them forever. If you are work with them, be prepared to wait their responses forever.

Front Counter staff is great. But every time I send an order In advance there are items missing that weren’t out of stock. And it’s pretty evenly spread between being the warehouse staffs fault and the person who entered the order. Perpetually short staffed. I’ve waited half an hour just to get to the will call counter to pick up an order.

This is a large supplier primarily for commercial and business customers but they are open to the public, you can buy supplies in bulk here for electronic projects.

Farrar has integrity in their work.
I hired a contractor to do a kitchen remodel who subcontracted the electrical to Farrar but never paid them.
Even though they didn't get paid for the job, they still stand behind their work and provide a warranty. They came back and corrected an issue at no charge to me. The employees who came to my house were professional and clean.

Tommy was excellent. He was out the same day and quickly diagnosed my voltage problem and made the quick repair. I would recommend Farrar to anybody and everybody.

We have had TJ Farrar Electrical do work for us on three different occasions. If I could, I'd leave them 10 stars. Friendly & courteous, competent, very knowledgeable, great work ethics, did not hesitate to answer any questions. We have been very happy with everything they have done for us. Very highly recommend.

Bottom line: TJ Farrar is excellent!
My ceiling fan would not run, so I tried to find the breaker to deenergize the fan so I could work on it. I turned off each breaker in my electrical panel, but none deenergized the fan. [I think the capacitor in the fan isn't working]
Then, I found that my disposal and dishwasher would not work, and they are on the same breaker. It was time to get professional help.
About a year and a half ago, I needed electric run to a new fireplace insert, and someone recommended TJ Farrar. They did a great job! So, I called TJ Farrar on a Thursday, and they put me on the schedule for Friday at 9am. The guys showed up at around 8:45am - Excellent!
I explained the issues to them, and they were able to resolve them by around 9:20am! [Solution 1: I have a solar system, and there are three circuits that have their breakers in a separate breaker box outside, and one of the breakers is for the circuit that includes the ceiling fan. Solution 2: The breaker in the electrical panel for the dishwasher and disposal was not working, so they replaced it.]
The two gentlemen from TJ Farrar were professional, personable, and courteous - great guys! And they know their stuff!
What I was charged for the work was very reasonable as well!

TJ Farrar Electrical was fantastic to work with. They corrected all the issues we had, got the permit for basement finishing project, and did an amazing job. Kris was great to coordinate everything with and answer any questions I had. And the guys they had working on our basement were great. I would 100% recommend for your residential electric needs. Recently, I used them for the second time (at different residences) and they came out the same day to provide an estimate and finished the work the next day. Not only was I appreciative of their punctuality, they were very honest and have competitive pricing. They did not try to sell me on other items I "needed" to get my house back up and running and simply solved all my needs. I found them very helpful when informing me of the situation regarding my breakers with what the problem was and how it needed to be solved. I will definitely reach out to them in the future for all my electric needs.
