Landscaping reviews in Indianapolis, Indiana

This place is very big lots of back greenhouse. Not really much of a "house plant" selection but they have tons of outdoor flowers, trees, bushes, landscaping rocks, mulch various other yard stuff. The house plant selection was minimal and prices are a little high. This place is definitely a must when they open the back greenhouses in May or April walking down the greenhouse isles there is so much color and it's truly beautiful. Lots of outdoor decor. Wish they had more selection with play sprays and fertilizers. They have a good selection of pots bigger variety of terricotta wish they had more variety of medium to larger pots. They even have some statues.

Always great to stop by Dammann’s! Great prices for their excellent selection, and walking through is a consistently gorgeous experience.

Had no idea they would have so many house plants. Got a pretty big orchid cactus for $12.99.

Great place for plant, top soil, bedding materials, and repotting supplies.
Could do a better job opening gate before opening, so people could get off the busy street. -
Everyone was so friendly here today! There were alot of employee's getting ready for spring but not many customers. All of the employees were greeting me, "We heard you drove from Anderson, thanks for coming to visit, and oh your baby is so cute" 😁 I went to look for cacti I left with two, check it out you won't be disappointed!

I really enjoy shopping at the neighborhood store, most of the staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable during my last few trips to the store, which makes it a great place to learn and explore gardening. However, I recently spoke with one employee over the phone who was noticeably impatient and dismissive when I asked some beginner-level questions on April 12 at around 9:15 am. As gardening can have a steep learning curve, it’s especially important for nursery staff to be approachable and patient with customers who are just starting out. A more supportive attitude would go a long way in helping build confidence and trust in new gardeners.

Loved the variety and their prices aren't bad. Some flowers seemed unhealthy but for the most part, it's great!

Dammann's Garden Center & Greenhouse is a lovely spot to shop for plants and gardening supplies in Indianapolis. They have a wide selection of flowers, shrubs, and indoor plants, and everything looked healthy and well cared for. I especially enjoyed browsing the seasonal displays. They make it easy to find something for any occasion or home décor style.
The staff was knowledgeable and helpful when I had questions about plant care and recommendations, which made the shopping experience much easier. Prices are reasonable for the quality, though some specialty plants can be a bit pricey. The greenhouse is spacious and organized, but it can get a little crowded during weekends. Parking is easy to find, and the location is convenient.
Overall, a great place to get gardening essentials and find inspiration for your yard or home plants. I’ll definitely return for future plant shopping! -
Love this place! It’s got the most healthy plants! Very cute pots too! Stopped by on Memorial Day and scored these beauties for just $16. each. The quality is always high and the selection is great!

This place is amazing! Right now they have all different types of house plants and in a couple weeks the spring and summer outdoor plants will start being sold also. If you’re a plant lover or know a plant lover check out the 2 green house rooms that have house plants you won’t be disappointed. Very reasonable prices as well you’ll be paying twice as much at nurseries on the north side.

I normally frequent the one in Beech Grove but I stopped in on my lunch break at this location and I was wildly impressed by the selection and amount they had. I will definitely get all my plants between these 2 locations

I had tried for many years to get the weeds in my yard under control and to thicken up the grass. Went through a lot of products not to mention investing a lot of time and effort into studying lawn care as well as applying the products. I could never get it quite to where I thought it should be and spent too much time doing it. At the recommendation of a friend I signed up for SG and wow, what a difference. The applications started last fall and within the year I am 95% weed free except some spots around the edges and near flower beds but that's to be expected. Also the lawn is MUCH thicker and greener. Rodney does a great job and I have my time back!

Company was hired to fertilize lawn of my mother’s home. She has meticulously care for her lawn but started to become to hard, heavy etc. Screaming Tree came and used zero turn equip that torn ruts in the yard, they over weed killed (now there is huge brown spots). The lawn went from green to dry and brown. The owners response was that apparently she was confused and the lawn would recover “eventually”. He was condescending, loud and unapologetic, would not recommend

Benchmark Property Services maintains the grounds at my rental property, and I recently had a disappointing experience following their most recent visit. There was a gap in service for about a week, which I understand may have been impacted by wet weather, so I do appreciate that scheduling can sometimes be affected by conditions outside anyone’s control.
That said, when the work was completed, there was a noticeable amount of grass clippings left behind across my yard. Given the delay in mowing, I’d hoped for more attention to detail in the cleanup. Even just a few extra minutes spent tidying or addressing the excess clippings could have made a noticeable difference.
I also recognize the challenges that come with working around weather and tight schedules, but based on past experience and understanding some of the steps that can be taken in situations like this, it would have been appreciated if a bit more time could have been spent to leave the yard in a more presentable condition. -
Nothing but good things to say about this company!

Chase and his team did a great job on our down spouts and taking out a mulch bed. I would recommend Benchmark to anyone in the Indy area.

We’ve used their weed & feed service for several years. It completely transformed our yard of weeds into a lovely dark green lawn. We highly recommend their reliable, excellent ,knowledgeable, reasonably priced service. Anna & Dave

I live in Clary Crossing in Greenwood, Benchmark is the company that maintains the grounds here. I couldn't help but notice that the guys are done pretty quick for as big as the complex is. I also know from experience in working for landscape/mowing crews that part of the job is picking up trash. I get it guys don't have time to pick up every little piece of trash they encounter. I do however feel like they have plenty of time to pause for a moment and pick up a glass vodka bottle someone threw out. I noticed this while walking my dog, it was pretty obvious that it's been mowed over a few times by now. What would of happened if the employees of benchmark ran this over and it hit the blades and was sent flying across the lawn and hit someone's kid, pet, or anyone for that matter?! I know the employees didn't put the trash there, nor are they the only ones responsible for cleaning up trash during their journey mowing, but it is definitely negligent on their part to be driving lawnmowers over glass bottles. It's an accident just waiting to happen. Might need to translate for the guys mowing here. Better safe than sorry. Would hate to see the company lose their contract because of laziness.
