Landscaping reviews in Indianapolis, Indiana

Purchased some amazing starter plants (non-toxic to my cats) and pots. While the staff were repotting the plants into their new pots (for free!) they noticed one plant didn't have a healthy root system and had me to choose another instead of just selling me the damaged plant. 10/10 for integrity and service.

Great selection of indoor plants, and the prices were reasonable. I will definitely be back soon!

We picked out two trees to replace our fallen arborvitae and old Bradford pear last summer. We picked out a beautiful red maple and new arborvitae and they were planted last fall. Boy! They are doing so well this spring, the maple has many leaves already and both look incredibly healthy. Customer service was fantastic and would recommend!

They are very popular for great quality. And they have some really cool stuff. I personally loved the big red truck!!!

Excellent variety- all the plants looked so good that it was hard to pick! I interacted with several staff members and all were friendly and helpful. I’ll be back!

Oh Sheila was just absolutely amazing and so knowledgeable. She had great energy and clearly loves her job, which means the company values her too!
Definitely buying all of my future plants from them -
Love Dammanns, I have been shopping there for many many years, Going to plant cooler plants this year for the first time and that's the first place I thought about going to get my starter plants.

Very nice and well stocked garden center. The service and support always exceeds my expectations.

Their plants on shelves and in nursery stock are in great condition.
Healthy foliage, branches and roots.
I got 2 pots of juniper there.
I just googled and found Dammann's garden company during my business trip, and this worth a lot. Much beyond the word.
I will drive back home with these trees to Detroit, MI in few days. -
I just started my journey with having indoor plants and wow, am I glad I met Kyle today at this store!! He is a plant GENIUS! I was blown away by how knowledgeable and helpful he was! On top of that, he is so friendly and engaging! His passion for all things plants poured out as he was answering all my questions in great, helpful detail! Amazing little shop on the Southside. Erica in the houseplants department really knows her stuff. Not only does she suggest the best soil for your plants, but she helped repot some that I got from my mother‘s funeral to help me keep them looking their best. She even suggested a perfect new pot for one of them, as it had been planted in a pot that was much too small for what it should have been. Great and friendly service!

The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The atmosphere of the store is very beautiful and calming. I was very excited to get my new beautiful garden flag. I'm sure you will find that perfect thing that will make you happy also

I love this place! Beautiful flower arrangements to hang and put out every year prices are the same as everywhere else but they have a much better selection.

Hello.
I’m Brandon M. I looked for a nursery near home and noticed Dammann’s Garden Center & Greenhouse, Inc..
A #7 Yew Hicksii caught my eyes attention.
It’s beautiful and neat! -
I enjoyed shopping here, but will not be returning whoever answered the phone at 1pm today absolutely is not fit for employment.

Very helpful young man showed me right to the species of pine I was looking for. And assisted me with picking out another evergreen that would go nicely beside it.
They also have a ton of Japanese maples (I have never seen so many in 1 place before). -
They have a large selection of trees! Including lime, orange, and lemon 🍋 I would light recommend stopping in, even if it’s just to look around.

First time to this place and I love the variety of plants, trees, gifts, etc. We'll definitely be back.
Update June 30, 2024 We got some top soil and I must say we love it! -
edit :They made it right!
SMH.The houseplants section is always nice, nice variety. Unfortunately, this last time, I bought a bag of happy frog soil, I was told to drive around back, and someone loaded it, I would not have chosen this bag otherwise. The corner of the bag is completely ripped, like it was dragged on the ground on that corner. You all just put a clear tap over it well there's rolly polly bugs around the tape. I'm not sure if I wanna use the soil on my houseplants now. The tape job isn't even good it busted open when I moved it, and it made a mess in my vehicle. I don't have a receipt, and I just now noticed it after I had had it for a week. This will be the last time I buy soil from you guys, considering it was taped and then left outside on the pallet for more bugs to crawl into it. The only reason it's getting a 3 star rating instead of a 1 is because of their nice selection of houseplants, and they are reasonably priced. It was over an hour drive to get soil like smh. -
Dammann's is moderate to expensive in pricing. Under the saying, "you get what you pay for" the items I consider expensive are definitely worth it. If you're looking for unusual or uncommon plants Dammann's may have it that is definitely high quality and worth it to get a specific cultivar you may want for your Garden. This location is open year round now. Lots of houseplants, beautiful pottery, seeds, bird food supplies, and nearly everything needed for yards and gardens whether you knew it or not. Small house plants through large trees for the yard available. Perennials, trees, shrubs, annuals, garden plants, hanging baskets. Located about a block south of Thompson Road on the east side of Emerson. It can be easy to miss since the center actually sits off the road quite a bit but the entrance and sign are between two other businesses on either side. Definitely a quality business with high quality product.
