Ray did an excellent job rodding a tough situation, back to back lavs feeding an offset cross. First company out was not able to, but was willing to carve a hole in a brick wall and have apprentices cut into the system without a plumber on site for 5 times the fee. Best thing we did was send them home and call someone with experience. Thanks again Ray!

They provide high quality service. They were able to help me out immediately . Their prices were great. They worked with my schedule. All employees were friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. The placed tarps down to keep my floorsclean They cleaned up when they were done . I had a very positive experience with Downing plumbing. I would highly recommended them to anyone. I will definitely use them for any of my future plumbing needs.

I totally recommend this company for big projects! My house is located in Chicago Heights. They are very organized and professional. They are knowledgeable and attentive. I received a professional proposal with detailed scope of work, the pricing and the completion date. Dawn communicated with me constantly, giving me updates on the work and city inspections, and they cleaned up my yard pretty good. I will def. use them again in future. After having a truly negative experience with another company, dealing with Downing Plumbing was like the light at the end of the tunnel. I had a major plumbing job, and they were up for the task. The replaced the main water line, did excavation and moved pipes to relocate the water meter. They had a team of guys working round the clock and finished the work on time. They even helped me with financing the project. Pricewise, I did my research and called around many companies, they are pretty competitive. They will be getting more business from me. Thanks guys :)

I called Downing Plumbing because they work on Saturday's. The owner
gave me a estimate wait time of 2 hrs. Sure enough the owner called
and said they were on their way.
Chad and Arnold were very informative regarding the toilets.
They fixed both in record time.
I'm very happy with my service.

I had a very plugged up kitchen sink. Technicians Ben and Ray were wonderful to deal with. Very professional and quick to solve my problem. Have used Downing Plumbing twice now. Horrible when you need a plumber but they make it as easy as possible.

Called Downing after having Roto Rooter come out because I had a mainline backing up they were NO help & were apparently rodding out the WRONG line (drain tile) so Downing Plumbing sent 2 guys that did an amazing job gave me full details on the situation even gave budget friendly alternatives & extra details about my plumbing that I can repair myself, they unclogged my drain within a hour. Service kind of pricey but what you expect when you need professional work done. I will be going with them for every plumbing repair I can’t do from now on! Highly recommend

Ben and Tyler are fantastic. I called on Wed. and they were here in 25 minutes to assess our problem. They came back the next day and did exactly as they said they would. We no longer have a backed up shower drain. Plus it was the hottest day of the year and they never complained and made sure they kept working until we had a working drain.

The most courteous efficient and knowledgeable plumbers around. They gave a fair price for my emergency plumbing needs. Yes I would call them again.

We had Bob this time and before repairing garbage disposal replacement and he is always extremely knowledgeable and straight forward about our plumbing needs and does everything he can to give us the best price too.
We needed to install a heavy duty ADA toilet because of frequent use of our downstairs toilet! He also installed a heavy duty Ejector pump with sump pump with new battery backup system
which we are relieved to have this new system to avoid flooding in our basement!!! The other man assisted with great cleanup too!!

I called Downing Plumbing for an emergency plumbing repair in our school, & they came right out that afternoon! Ray & Will were very helpful & easy to work with. We needed more invasive sewage repairs, and Matt & Ben came out early the next morning & fixed the problem! They explained everything they were doing & the cost to fix it. They too, were extremely helpful & very easy to work with. I would recommend Downing Plumbing 100% & will continue to call them in the future if needed again.

We had Mike come out yesterday for a plugged up kitchen sink. He was on time, and called when he was headed our way. The repair was completed very quick . He cleaned up after he was done. Mike was very friendly and I would highly recommend Mike and Downing plumbing.

Called Downing to schedule someone to check a drain issue we were having in our duplex. Dawn in office was very responsive and friendly and kept me posted as soon as one of their workers were finished on another nearby job. Ray came out on time and found the drain that he was able to clean out and clear. He was very professional and knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. I highly recommend this company as we have hired them on several occasions and always do a thorough job. I won't hesitate to ask for Ray for any other plumbing issues we may have. THANK YOU!!!

Mike came out early, gave me our quote, fixed sink timely. Very personable and great to work with. Very professionable and cleaned up the area. He will be back to fix the laundry sink next. Have a great Memorial Day weekend Mike.

I had an emergency situation, Ben and his young man helper,(I am so sorry I did not get his name), together with another plumber all came to my aid. They did a wonderful job, they were respectful, courteous, knowledgeable and very hard working. They fixed the problem without a hitch. I highly recommend this company, and am very grateful for all they did.

Chad was amazing. He was kind, prompt and gave the reassurance necessary. Not very often you can find a good plumber who won't "find problems". He was honest and the fee was well worth it. Will use again if I need a plumber which I hope I don't lol.

I was very impressed with the professionalism and the quality of service that was provided by Ben and Mike @ Downing Plumbing. We had a company come out prior to Downing and they were unable to resolve our issue.
Downing Plumbing came right out and had our drains unplugged in no time. They also attended to a few 'extra' finishing details while they were here. I highly recommend your company and will be using Downing Plumbing for our future needs.

Called Downing to have a faucet replaced in my kitchen. Mike showed up during the timeframe I was told and was very personable and knowledgeable. Gave me a quote within 10 minutes and had the faucet replaced within an hour. Mike was nice and explained everything he had to do. Highly recommend him for all your future plumbing needs.

Water coming up from our drain downstairs laundry room, shower, and toilet plugged. Downing came over right away. Our Home Warranty sent out a Plumber and he said he couldn't do the work, Downing had no problem doing what needed to be done! I purchased the Ducky plan, thanks to my Mom for the referral!! Thanks to Ben and Mike from Downing!!

Downing Plumbing came to complete a huge project at my home, the guys were very professional and personable! They didn't mind me asking all the questions that I had, Chad ,Ray, Ben, Tyler, Pauly, The Boss Man and the other guys I don't remember their names!!! Would definitely recommend!!

I had a toilet shutoff valve start to fail and called Downing to replace it. My tech Mike came out and quickly and neatly changed out the valve. He was very professional and courteous, and answered any questions I had. If I'm needing any plumbing work in the future, I will ask for him again. Thanks again!!

I contacted Downing Plumbing to replace a very old water heater. The technician quoted me for the replacement water heater and after I approved the quote was able to schedule me for same day installation. The technicians were prompt and courteous, and was able to answer any questions I had. I am very happy with the work performed.
