Good luck getting these guys to schedule an appointment or even getting them on the phone. Called multiple times. Was able to leave a voicemail the first time and then all the times after the voicemail box was full. Ridiculous.

SCAM ARTIST AND CROOK!! The tried to charge $1800 after weeks of not being able to get ahold of them after the first call. A trustworthy company came right out and said everything they said was a lie and had it fixed in 20 minutes for $150 plus the service call fee!!!! DO NOT USE THEM

Quick and professional. Dan was very knowledgeable and fixed our AC problem quick and easy. We've had other companies out before to look at the unit and they were unable to fix our problem. Dan fixed it the same day he was out.

Sad to see me pay more than 100$ through my home warranty company and being told that I need to get in touch with the company that installed the AC as he cannot rectify the problem. The brands being different etc . Shouldn’t that have been checked before coming over ? I have a bill with hardly a 15 mins visit with no resolution or correction to show for and need to pay additional money to the new vendor now .

We will start at the beginning... We first bought our home back in May 2018, as first time homebuyers we were very excited and anxious especially because we were starting our family and had a babygirl due in October. Our home came with an HSA warranty which calmed our worries a bit if something did happen..

Fast forward to the end of winter 2018/2019.. our furnace went out (it was put in back in 1991 so we knew it was getting close) we contacted our home warranty company and they had Dan from Always Affordable Air come out and look at it. After a bunch of back and forth the warranty company agreed to replace the furnace. We have an Oil furnace and as much as we wanted to switch to something else they told us they couldn’t replace what we didn’t have so we had to stick with the Oil..

It is now 90 degrees outside in August and Dan is just now getting around to putting the Furnace in. Him and another guy spend a whole day putting in said furnace, turns it on and swears it works.. Dan shows us how to bleed the line and reset the furnace, we don’t know any better so we pay him the $2000 dollars that was our ‘out of pocket fee’ and live life.. (he never gave us a manual or any type of paperwork that the furnace came with a warranty)

Fast forward to October, it’s getting cold out so we go to turn on the furnace and only cold air comes out. Joseph bleeds the line and tries to reset it (like Dan told us to back in August) and nothing happens. We call Dan and he says he doesn’t have to but he’ll come out and look at it. Takes a few days but luckily we have a wood burning stove so we agree.

He comes out on a Friday, looks at it for about 15/20 minutes and tell me that he believe our oil line is clogged and we need to contact CoAlliance and have them come out. While he is here he looks me straight in the eye while I’m holding my 1 year old daughter and states “I know you guys are a young couple and a lot of people take advantage of that but I won’t do that” he stated he had only worked on a hand full of oil furnaces and he would talk to his contacts and let us know what he came up with... Since then (it’s been 2 weeks) we have not heard anything.

We had another company come out and that’s when we found out he had cut into our wall and encapsulated crawl space without our permission and he put in a discontinued furnace.

I called our home warranty company and let them know what had happened and they asked him to come back to fix what he started and he told them that HE NO LONGER SERVICES OUR AREA.

It’s very unfortunate, he has a lot of good reviews and maybe he just bit off more than he could chew with our furnace but why look me in the eye and tell me how I am a young person and you won’t screw me over like other people would.

My recommendation is do not use this service and if you are currently in contract with him, TRIPLE check his work!

I placed a service request through my home warranty company on August 22nd because my AC unit was not working properly. They assigned Always Affordable Air. I spoke with someone and they were supposed to come out to my house on August 25th to figure out the issue. They never showed up. Tried calling MULTIPLE times, and they never answered or called back. I finally decided to reach back out to the warranty company - who told me they could not cancel contract with this company until they said they could not perform services… Ok tried reaching the company multiple times again, no answer.
Finally on September 15th, almost a MONTH later I received a text message from a RANDOM number, not associated with the company at all (or no where that I could find), asking if I would be home in the next 20-30 minutes so they could send a tech out to look at my AC. The tech came out & looked and said my AC unit was freezing up because it needed refrigerant & that he would have to give this info to his boss and that they would be in touch with me about it in a few days… okay great!!! Here we are, October 6th and I have heard nothing from this company. I ended up having to pay another RELIABLE company to come out and fix my unit. Which turned out to be that my return air duct needed replaced, had nothing to do with refrigerant.
So out the money I had to pay for this service request because this company is AWFUL & has AWFUL customer service!

I understand that dealing with Home Warranty is awful but stop screwing people over because you’re too lazy to make a phone call and update your customers on what’s going on. 👎👎👎👎

I had company who installed my thermostat and my furnace was not turning on, they said they couldnt come that day and the first appointment available was 2 days out. Contact AAA about my issue with my furnace not turning on. He came out the same day and found the problem with in minutes and had it fix within minutes and followed up the next day to confirm there were no further issue. Excellent service and very professional.

Always Affordable Air is an amazing company!!! Our A/C went out and our home warranty company dropped the ball big time by canceling our appt with them without letting me know. When I contacted Danny he took the extra effort to make sure we still were taken care of on our original appt date which is HUGE because this is their busiest season. Not only that, he stayed longer to show me the problem, how to fix it in the future and told us we could always call for advice anytime we needed it. His respect for military, firefighters, and police is also greatly appreciated. He’s very knowledgeable, honest and trustworthy and that is very hard to find these days. I would highly recommend Always Affordable Air for all of your HVAC needs.

In Dec 2017 my furnace was making loud noises, short cycling and not heating my house (it was ~50 degrees at one point!). I called my Home Warranty company (HSA Home Warranty) and they sent out Dan from Always Affordable Air. He said my pilot light was out and there was not much else he could do. He showed my how to re-light my pilot light and left. The furnace still was not heating the house correctly. I called to get a 2nd opinion from another contractor outside of the home warranty network (Broad Ripple Heatind and Air). After they came out, scoped my furnace, and discovered my heat exchanger was cracked, turned OFF MY GAS, had me sign paperwork acknowledging the danger of running my furnace due to the crack, I called Always Affordable Air (Dan) back letting them know that I received a 2nd opinion and explain that my furnace did in fact need replaced and shared the severity of the issue. He came out and replaced my furnace. Because the furnace is oversized my furnace AND AC unit are less efficient, I’ve incurred increase gas costs over the past two years, and the furnace that was installed will have a dramatically shortened life because it will overwork itself (essentially its like trying to breath through a straw). The home warranty company is giving me the run around and Always Affordable Air is not taking any responsibility.

When dealing with home warranty replacements, home owners have two options (1) take a cash out and work with a company of my choosing or (2) have the work completed by a contractor in their (home warranty) network. In my case, this would be Always Affordable Air. I was trusting of Dan and Always Affordable Air to do the work right and install the correctly sized unit for my house. Always Affordable Air is blaming the home warranty company for installing the incorrect sized unit, even though they were the one who installed the unit. And IF it was in fact the home warranty’s “fault,” Always Affordable Air should have done the moral and ethical thing and advised me to take the cash out and allocate the money toward purchasing a correctly sized unit. However, they did not. I trusted them and I got taken advantage of. I would suggest not to work with Always Affordable Air as they are not trustworthy and do not have their customers best interest in mind.
