The work Williams Tree Company did on my property was good. They cut down a large, heavily leaning tree in a difficult spot. The price for the work was also fair. The person who came out to do the estimate and the main contact at the office were very polite and professional. Communication was a bit of a challenge - we did have to reschedule a couple of times for equipment and weather reasons and I did have to reach out to them more than once over the course of a few weeks about when they were coming back. The job I hired them for was a 2-day job, but that wasn’t communicated to me, so when they finished work for one day and left in the mid-afternoon, I thought they were finished and had left half the tree standing and debris all over my yard. They did come back and finish the job and clean up most of the debris, but they didn’t put back the fence panel they had to take down to finish the job and I had to email them and ask that they send someone out to put it back, which they did. Also, a limb fell on a chain-link fence while the work was being done. I was told that someone would get in touch with me to discuss repairing it, but no one ever did. I had to call and email to get someone to come out and repair it. They did come out to repair it eventually, and it looks basically as good as new. They did send me an invoice reminder while I was waiting to have the fence fixed. Also, I would have appreciated if they had given me a call day-of to let me know they were coming out to my house, because I work from home and would have appreciated a heads-up, but that never happened.

If I knew communication would be better the second time around, I would hire them again because the actual tree work was skillful. However, communication and scheduling was difficult and there were a few loose ends as far as repair and cleanup that I found frustrating.

Absolutely love the jobs they’ve done for us! Carl is the best to work with, but they are all really good. Highly recommend.

The Brooklyn Cemetery suffered major tree damage due to a wind storm. Five tress came down on graves and drive. The crew got on the job right away and did an excellent job! They smoothed off the ground damaged by the trees as well as got rid of all debris. You cannot go wrong with them Thank you all! You are awesome!

Couldn't be happier with this company. They listened to our concerns and what we wanted. They were safety conscious, professional, and just nice guys. The tree climber was outstanding as well as the saw guys on the ground. They took care in not doing damage to our fence, plants and smaller trees on each side of the big maple that was being trimmed. Highly recommend this company.

Great experience! They were able to get me in quicker than any other service I contacted. They showed up when they were scheduled. Worked all day on getting a massive tree down and only took one (much deserved) break. Came back to grind the stump when they said they would. Every person I was in contact with was super pleasant. Only, minimal, complaint is the 3% surcharge on credit card payments. The cost of taking a tree down is not cheap so the extra 3% processing fee when you're paying in full is a bit much.

So I’m pretty sure these are the guys that are cutting trees down in Brown County on 135 cause the trucks look the same. I just have to say someone needs to do something about their drivers that drive the pickup I watch one this morning put out in front of a school bus this morning that was caring our kids. Then the other day one just stopped dead in the middle of 135 where the speed limit is 50mph no flashing lights or turn signals he just decided to stop and let an employee run across traffic to catch a ride almost causing a huge accident.

The guys that came out to remove our problem tree were great. They removed a very tall tree without damaging any other tree's in the area. Interesting to see someone climb up 60/65 feet too do the job right. The estimator and the other people I work with on the phone or also great. F,Y,I For me five star is an extremely high bar to reach, 4.5 stars.

Outstanding Service from Williams Tree Company

During a recent storm, we had 12 mature, 30-year-old pine trees damaged—many of which fell into our neighbor’s yard. Williams Tree Company responded quickly, provided a fair quote, and was able to begin work right away.

Their crew was professional, courteous, and respectful throughout the entire process. They not only removed all the damaged trees, limbs, and debris, but went above and beyond by planting grass seed to help repair the areas affected in our neighbor’s yard.

We were extremely impressed with their service and wouldn’t hesitate to call them again. We highly recommend Williams Tree Company to anyone in need of reliable and thoughtful tree care.

The week of July 4th a storm blew through and reeked havoc in my mom's yard in Bloomington. Today a Williams truck pulled up and they took all of the brush on the lawn and even cleaned up the sidewalk and the Street. The guys were friendly and courteous and did a fantastic job.

This is the third project this company has done for me and my family. The first was a huge maple that rotted at the base and hit my house. The wall on which the tree fell was mostly glass windows. They removed the tree without harming the windows or the deck.

The second was for my daughter and involved taking down trees blocking her solar panel. Work was done carefully and was just as promised.

The third was a 70 ft or more poplar that was rotten about three quarters of the way through. Real danger of it taking out my garage. It took a crane and a bucket truck but they very carefully took it down in sections without damage to any of my buildings.

They took great care when dropping tree. Large Mulberry in a confined area with deck and other fir trees. Really good clean up. Very personable crew. Highly recommend.

We had a tree fall against the side of our house. These folks showed up within 24 hours and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend their service to anyone.

The guys made fast work of a super tall dead tree leaning in such a way that I could not tackle it without hazard. They brought in the crawler machine with 55 foot Lift height bucket and pieced the tree down in fast fashion. Everything.

I am completely THRILLED with the work done by Williams Tree Company! The whole process was smooth, from getting an estimate for the work I wanted done to getting the stumps ground out and the clean up. Everyone I dealt with with beyond professional, hard working, and friendly. Carl, the estimator, gave me a couple of written options, which was really helpful. I chose to pay a little extra to have the wood cut into pieces we can burn. Nick was an expert on tree climbing and cutting and he operated and worked from the large lift like a pro. (The trees were removed from the top down, yet without the need of a crane.) Larry and Greg did the brush removal and chainsaw work from the ground. Dustin worked his magic with the stump grinder and everyone spent time raking at the end to ensure the holes were filled and debris was all removed. The guys all worked seamlessly together and you could tell them really enjoy the work they do and like working together. During this two day project I have already shared the contact info for Williams Tree Company with several of my clients and friends. I hope you will also contact them; you will NOT be disappointed! The team did a great job helping me remove two difficult trees near my house and over a driveway that I wasn't able to do on my own. They quoted the job, followed through on their timing and cleaned up after themselves. I'd hire them again. A++

I highly recommend Williams Tree Company. They made quick work of our 3 large trees (3 days) with navigating around a power line. They left our yard in cleaner condition than when they came after hauling away the debri. As an added bonus, the guys that were out here were a lot of fun! It was really cool watching them skillfully drop the limbs with the anchors.
