Reviews of local pros in Thorntown, Indiana

McCoy's Tree Service, removed a tree in our front yard. We also had them remove the stump and grind it down. They were very professional and did an excellent job for us. I highly recommend using them if you have any tree services needing done. Five Star Service all the way around. Thanks to the ground crew for doing a fantastic job!

I have used them for the past 4 years. They do an amazing job! They go above and beyond expectations and are more than fair with pricing. We are forever customers!

Excellent work. I would recommend this family owned business for anyone interested in tree removal that is both skilled and efficient. Thank you!

It only took them an hour and fifteen minutes to take the tree down grind the stump and clean up! Great people and they did an amazing job I highly recommend them!

They took down a 40’ Ash tree that was sick . They were very quick and very professional. After they left you would not know they had even been there . Highly recommended them !

The service was great. Had them cut down a tree on my campsite. Tree was very large, 100ft tall or so. Campers on both sides, did not drop a single limb on either camper. True professionals.

Have had them out in 2023 and 2024 to remove three trees. They did a very nice job removing the trees and cleaning up. Will probably have them back again to remove more.

They butchered my trees. Left a huge mess of limbs and leaves all over the yard. That my kids and I had to pick up! They also piled the limbs in my driveway which was unusable for hours! I would never hire Mc Coy's tree service! Nor would I ever recommend them!

I went to the website at the reccomendation of another company because they weren't able to deal with a large tree and said McCoys was. I went to the "Request Quote" page on their website and left my contact info. I received a call and it was not a pleasant experience. I don't think I have ever had someone work so hard to NOT want to do a job or be hired! They asked me what was I contacting them for, is it for the tree service? Well yes, since that is were I requested the quote from. Next it was, are you in Boone County, and what do you need? I said yes and I need a tree removed from my back yard that can be accessed from the side yard. Then she said can we get a bucket truck to it? Because if we can't we can't do it. I said I don't know, thats why I contacted you, can you come look at it and tell me if you can? Then it was, I could maybe come tomorrow or maybe next week, but it would be late fall before we might get to it. I said never mind. So I guess from the pictures and reviews they do good work, they just don't need the work if this is how they treat someone on the phone

We had a fallen tree across our driveway after a storm. McCoy's Tree Service came quickly, on time, cleaned up everything, and their price was very competitive. Impressive service!

These folks are the real McCoy's.
Professional and punctual with fair prices. I'm very impressed with the level of quality.
Highly recommended.

I would definitely recommend McCoy's tree service, they are the best. Very nice, polite and honest people! We had a huge tree over 100 years old , they had it down, cleaned up and was gone before I got home from work . Absolutely no mess left behind, you couldn't even tell they had been there other than the dirt from where the tree stood. Great job!
