I found Jim to be very skilled, friendly, honest, hard working and true to his word. I was impressed with how he overcame obstacles with my job to minimize lawn damage and was precise in placement of limbs as he was cutting. I couldn't have been more pleased by his work and will contact him again when tree cutting is required in the future.

In December 2020, Lumberjack Jim fell three very very large trees, two of which were very near our house. When he was finished, the branches and brush were all piled up neatly all in the same direction. The wood he cut was located in an area nearby. Additionally he came and removed the wood chips, blew off all debris from our porches and patios and re-covered the ground out tree stump areas with soil. The entire experience exceeded our expectations. Jim was entirely punctual, friendly and ultimately professional. We would absolutely recommend his services to anyone considering tree trimming or tree removal or stump grinding. A five star service and experience.

We have used Jim for several jobs. He removed some giant trees from our property that were in bad shape and headed to another property after storms brought down another large tree. He was dependable, qualified, and reasonably priced for all that he did. We were pleasantly surprised that there was absolutely no mess when he was done!

Lumberjack Jim did a great job for me about four years ago. I have two large maple trees and each had large dead limbs that were definitely beyond my capabilities. I knew who to call and again, was not disappointed. Limbs were safely removed and cleaned up with no drama or surprises. You can’t go wrong with this guy!

Nobody is better. I gathered quotes from 4 tree removal companies and Jim was the most reasonable but that is not the only reason I hired him. From speaking with him on the phone and via texts he was the most prompt, concise and professional from top to bottom. Others wanted to make a big deal out of it, and it seemed that to Jim the job was just another day. He had this job others were groaning about done in an 8-hour day from the time they left the office to their return. He also worked with us to be paid through a payment method he was not familiar with. Look no further. Hire these guys.
