About the business:
Jeff & Kathleen purchased Cinder Box August 1, 2014 from the founder who is also Jeff's long time friend since childhood. They now run a family owned business with their son Mike who worked for the previous owner, & continues to work for Cinder Box. Mike has multiple certifications & over 10 years experience in the field. They have additional certified techs with years of experience. While they may not be blood, they are family. Jeff & Kathleen believe that knowledge of the industry & upcoming products & technology is the key to continued growth & success. Therefore, all employees, including office staff, are required to be CSIA (Chimney Safety Institute of America) certified chimney sweeps. They are strong members of National Chimney Sweep Guild, National Fireplace Institute & National Safety Institute of America. They follow the NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) & CSIA guidelines and code of ethics. They are a respected leading company in the chimney & fireplace industry.
