Interior Designer reviews across the US

House Sprucing has a lovely showroom with very nice furniture and accessories. We recently purchased a settee. We picked up the settee already wrapped in plastic and didn't ask that the plastic be removed before leaving the showroom. Shame on us. When we got the piece home, after transporting it in our pick up truck, we noticed one of the legs was bent and the bottom of the settee was sliced (razor cut when personnel from the store opened the original manufacturer's box). We reached out to owners to inform them of the damage. While they acknowledged the razor cut was their issue, they indicated we must have damaged the leg during transport. They submitted a claim to the manufacturer and the manufacturer indicated there was nothing they could do because it arrived at House Sprucing in good order. They further indicated we should contact a handy man to have the leg repaired.

Shame on us for trusting the owner and not conducting our own QC before leaving the show room floor. After all, if they were unwilling to divulge the sliced the bottom of the chair, how can we trust that the leg wasn't damaged in the showroom - especially if the settee was wrapped when we picked it up.

Buyer beware, conduct the proper QC on anything you buy from House Sprucing.

I cannot recommend House Sprucing enough! I would give them ten stars if I could. I contacted them with a very short window, needing someone to come out to the design center with me in about two days! They were able to connect me with Lauren, who is a dream to work with. Lauren very quickly understood my style and goals. I cannot imagine having to go to the design center without her. She had a remarkable way of knowing when I needed her to take charge and when I knew what I wanted. She is so so good at what she does and you would be lucky to get to work with her! I can't wait for my new house build to be complete so that Lauren can help me furnish my home.

Alyssa helped me select furniture pieces for my home. She did an amazing job! I love all of the pieces. Alyssa was kind and professional. I was also able to visit the shop and got to see some of the selections in person. I highly recommend House Spurcing!

What an incredible team, and process. We enjoyed every minute of the time spent with Heather and her team. They captured our vision perfectly, and made sure that they kept our home as a representation of our Family. We love Heather and her team dearly and could not recommend them enough! Our home is gorgeous and I look at it everyday and feel so lucky.

We worked with Heather and her team as we were moving into a new build and anxious about starting our home with intentional design. Heather does an incredible job at helping clients find and represent their own design voices, and I additionally appreciated her ability to point me towards timeless foundation pieces. That would be enough for me to leave a 5 star review, but the House Sprucing team combines this professionalism with an approach that is absolutely a joy to be around. Heather has the ability to inspire and uplift everyone she meets, so working with her is also an incredible experience.

I had the privilege to work with House Sprucing on 3 large Dental office expansions/New Builds and the experience was excellent! I worked closely with Ashley Eli and she was professional, diligent, detail oriented and customer focused. All of the projects turned out great. Having experts that understand layouts, colors and flow allowed us to sit back with confidence. I would highly recommend HS for any commercial redesign or buildout.

I love shopping home decor stores and had the pleasure of visiting House Sprucing. I’ve followed Heather and her team on Instagram for a few years and was excited when I stopped by the store and met her and some of her team. I was introduced to Alyssa who helped me pick out new pillows to freshen up my sofa for Spring/Summer. Alyssa was delightful to work with and so helpful with suggesting colors and patterns that worked well together. I look forward to stopping by on a regular basis to see what is new and will be recommending their design firm and store/showroom to all my friends.

I had the honor and pleasure of having the House Sprucing team decorate our living and dining rooms, along with our master bedroom and accessorize our kitchen. Heather and Ashley were responsive to my requests and fully executed all of my ideas and likes into a space that is functional and beautiful. They worked with me to find pieces that are family friendly yet stylish. The House Sprucing team also set up and decorated our Christmas tree with ornaments and Christmas tree decorations which was more than I ever would have been able to dream of. I could not be happier nor recommend their services more. Every person on the House Sprucing team has been professional, kind and attentive including Tyson and Jordan.

Tyson and Heather are super talented at what they do! They definitely know what they’re doing. I’ve been to their store and wanted to buy just about everything inside! They have beautiful vision and I look forward to going back!

We have been using House Sprucing for the interior design, furnishing and decorating of our new custom home.

A project of any size can be stressful and ours became overwhelming for many reasons. We brought in House Sprucing after construction had started and they took so much of the burden and stress off of us that we actually started to enjoy building our dream home again, versus dreading it.

The entire House Sprucing team has been wonderful to work with. They have done a fantastic job and we could not be happier with the results, our house has turned out better than we had envisioned.

Tyson and Heather are oustanding! They really take the time to get to know you and understand your vision while offering up their expertise. Very impressed with the customer service and our results they helped us accomplish. We will recommend all family and friends to them from here on out!

I always find such unique decor at HS! Tyson was so very helpful as we made rug selections. Keeping us in budget and looking fabulous!

Walking into Spruced Home is like going to the beautifully curated home of a friend. We were welcomed like family by Ashley, Tyson and Heather who were I happy to help and make great suggestions or just to chat about their background and show us around the store. The furniture is unique and fun, and the accessories and accents were beautifully displayed and well priced. Will definitely be going back for design advice and gift ideas!

Our experience with House Sprucing has been amazing! They are very detailed oriented and very responsive. We moved into a beautiful house about a year ago and we wanted it to be perfect because is the place where we will live in many years. House Sprucing offers such nice designs and furniture. We loved every piece we got from them. We highly recommend it !

I am happy with the furniture we got, but I don't think the amount you pay is worth it. I personally think you are better off going to Pottery Barn or West Elm, and having their interior design help. I think you will get the same experience. All you get are furniture ideas, if you want the room setup that is an additional cost even though you have already paid thousands of $$. I made the wrong assumption when you hire an interior design company that isn't covered in the initial payment. Paid for their moving company to deliver our furniture. They had no idea how it was supposed to be positioned and setup, never got a check in from House Sprucing to see if we even liked how everything was setup. Maybe you have to spend closer to 50,000 to get more customer service, vs just spending 15,000.

This was our first time using a designer and we really enjoyed the process! Alyssa was great to work with. She was thorough during the design process and consistent with her weekly status updates. We are very happy with the selections she chose!

We loved working with House Sprucing! Upon moving to the Dallas area, we engaged House Sprucing to transform our new home into a graceful, timeless reflection of our French contemporary exterior. Alyssa did a stellar job of designing, organizing, and communicating with us while creating the perfect design within our budget. Her artistic eye missed no deal in selecting gorgeous furniture, elegant window treatments, and beautiful accessories in coordinating colors and interesting textures. The finished project is a sophisticated space that we are proud to call home.

We loved getting to meet Tyson and Heather. They were so warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful! I could have spent all day perusing things in the store. So many amazing pieces! We loved everything we got and will definitely be back. Just go. You won’t be disappointed

Heather and Tyson were wonderful and the store is a great place for inspiration. I love the leather chairs I purchased! Stop by and check out their store the next time you need furniture and decor. #shopsmallbusiness

I have been so happy with the work by Alyssa (and Megan) at House Sprucing! Alyssa designed our living room, breakfast nook, entry, office, formal dining, guest room, and master bedroom (essentially our entire first floor!). I trusted her 100% and couldn’t be more pleased with our home! We have now hired her to do our upstairs as well as recommended her to friends and family.

Tyson has also been fantastic through the process and helped us along the way with great referrals for outdoor landscaping.

Thank you to the House Sprucing team!!!
