Interior Designer reviews across the US

Keeling is a true professional and very, very gifted. She did my living room and it is gorgeous! I am hiring her again for my master bedroom. I highly recommend Ketlin.

Ketlin was a delight to work with on my kitchen, living room/dining room and guest bath renovations!
She completely coordinated all the contracting work, searched for appliances, flooring, tile, stools, accessories and paint!
From the beginning consultation and throughout the entire project she was right on with the whole theme of soft, warm and welcoming blending the rooms together for a smooth flow!
She kept in close contact with me throughout the entire process!
Ketlin always got back to me whenever I had any questions or concerns no matter what the day or hour!
I could never have achieved such a beautiful transformation without her guidance!
She has been an absolute gem to work with!

Kristy was great. I had very specific questions that laid the groundwork for a whole-house design approach. The two hour session gave me a roadmap on how to approach wall color, lighting, rugs, wallpaper, paint and more. We started at 30,000 ft and now I will drill down. Kristy helped me get there!

Kristy at Refinery Interiors is the ultimate professional and has an amazing eye for design, color and details. She helped us elevate our space from run of the mill to magazine-worthy. Contact her if you want something truly special in your home.

A million thank yous for guiding our remodel. We appreciate all the little details you looked into, the time you took to get to know our style and what we liked and going the extra mile for great quality, both of products and the people we worked with from the contractor to everyone else.
We could not have done it without you.
You helped us find great appliances and furniture, pick fun and different things, pushed our style boundaries yet respected our comfort zone too.
I love our "new" house. It feels homey and chic at the same time.

We used Kristy and Refinery interiors to redo/update a home office. We LOVE the results. Super clean, modern, and functional. Kristy guided us through all aspects of the design by presenting color options, layout, furniture, art, etc. We love the new space - it's perfect. We will definitely hire Refinery Interiors in the future.

Kristy is a dream to work with. She listens for the client's perspective and, while she has a point of view, she does not force her taste over the client. She is extremely organized, and has a wealth of knowledge on the industry, along with a robust network of contacts. We loved the design she created for us, and felt like we were respected and supported the entire time. Very much recommend working with her!

Kristy and Refinery Interiors helped with us evolve our house’s style during a recent remodel. She re-worked a floor plan for our family room that took it from outdated and semi-functional to a modern (but classic) space that we now love to use. Kristy is keen and artistic in her design process and ideas, which she tailored to our style and preferences. She came up with finish ideas which we would never have thought of or identified on our own, and she has access to beautiful, high-quality custom furniture and furnishings. We’re delighted to have new spaces with colors we love, and some new comfy living room chairs and a fantastic rug that we’ll enjoy for years. As a couple with a full-time plus jobs, Refinery’s full-service approach made getting things done and decisions made seamless for my husband and I.

After admiring Kristy's creative and interior work for 15+ years, I was beyond excited to have Refinery Interiors design our kitchen. Our house was built in 1920 and had suffered through several random "updates," leaving our kitchen especially dark and dated. Kristy worked within our budget to totally reimagine the space into the most charming room that we now enjoy gathering in. Her vision honored the era of the house, selecting vintage-inspired light fixtures and cabinet pulls, and a lovely color palette of blues and greens that softened up the space. Her choice of wallpaper wows everyone who walks into the room, and her guidance for updating the cabinets gave them a pretty new look without the expense of installing new ones. She also selected a new table and chairs that make the room feel more spacious and was a pro at suggesting new lighting sources that have brightened the room considerably. We were in love the moment she showed us her design proposal and she delivered 100%+! Kristy was super easy to work with, communicated well, and had so many great ideas for even the smallest details.

I worked with AKD Design for my Hamptons home renovation. Hands on, extremely professional and truly seasoned designer, Avivit was masterful to work with. She listened as much as she led the project, provided thoughtful and customized ideas and guidance.
