Shelly with SK Designs is absolutely fantastic to work with. I have worked with her for the past 4 years supplying appliances. She makes sure all her jobs run smooth and professionally. Whenever I have suggestions, she listens and the final results always look amazing. SK Design has undertaken two distinct projects for me. The first project involved primarily selecting and arranging furnishings, along with some minor construction work. The second project was a comprehensive remodel of a remote home located in the mountains of Utah. This renovation included installing a new kitchen and new bathrooms, updating the flooring, adding wall coverings and window treatments, and furnishing the space with new furniture. I thoroughly enjoy working with Shelly and her team at SK Design. Shelly consistently collaborates with excellent subcontractors, ensuring high-quality work throughout each project. Shelly is always mindful of pricing, ensuring costs remain reasonable and transparent throughout the design and remodeling processes. I look forward to working with her on my next project.

I’ve worked with Shelly Kramarczuk, owner of SK Design, on multiple projects and she has delivered amazing results without fail. She has a true artistic eye and always manages to pull everything together in a way that looks elegant and cohesive.

Shelly’s professionalism and meticulousness truly sets her apart. She is extremely organized, always on top of every selection, measurement, and finish. She works extremely well with contractors, ensuring that the vision is properly executed and does whatever it takes to makes projects less stressful for her clients.

On top of all that, Shelly is a genuinely kind and thoughtful person. She is so easy to work with, talented, and so down to earth. She has wowed me on every project, and I would never consider using anyone else.

Very responsive and professional as we worked with them while we lived in another country. The work was done on time. The finished product is lovely.

The absolute best team of folks to work with! Original, unique and a complete joy to with. Can’t wait to work with them again on another restaurant project!!

So, I work in real estate, I'm an artist, I love cats, and I wanted to do an Airbnb. My garage was not a functional space at all. It was kind of a mess to be honest. So making that a usable space was really important to me. And I wanted something to help me pay my mortgage.

They came up with some really innovative ideas that I loved — that I never would have thought of myself. They really did make this ADU a possibility for me.

And I actually ended up living in it and renting my house. It's definitely a life-changing opportunity to have that kind of freedom.

This home is my haven. It’s always been a comfortable house, but since the remodel, it’s just an oasis.

I entertain a fair amount and it used to be if I did have any more than like six people for dinner, I’d have to put tables in the family room to make a dining space because the dining room was so tiny.

I was making do, but it was always a conundrum as far as how to make the space work.

So I called Fraley + Company and just felt so comfortable with him, pretty much off the bat. It just was such a positive experience and Joel just took any angst out. He acted as the project manager all the way through, and that was nice to know — that I had that kind of advocacy.

I had done this watercolor and I pulled that out as inspiration. The colors were narrowed down to aqua, orange and copper. It just adds such warmth and positive feelings.

When I walked in — when it was pretty much done — it was love at first sight, I have to say. It was just like “Oh my gosh, I get to be in this space. This gets to be mine.”

It kind of took my breath. It works together so well and, like I said, it’s such a happy place. I just really, really enjoy it, and I’m so proud of my space.

I love working with Joel. He redid our mountain cabin, coordinated and referred a great General Contractor and stayed true to his commitment. Very trustworthy, with a great aesthetic sense for a period (1950's) appropriate remodel/update.

We are in the city of Denver, about six minutes from downtown, in a house that gives us the best of both worlds — in town so we could have a city lifestyle but not feel claustrophobic because we back up to a park that overlooks a lake, right in front of the mountains.

It is just a beautiful space, but our house is strange — people would joke around when they first saw “the compound” because it was just a rat maze. There hasn't been a pizza delivery person who hasn't called us from the car wondering where to go and what to do.

That needed to change, but we didn’t want to lose the majestic feel of the house or property.

It was really good to have Joel's expertise and high level of taste to put those ideas all in together into one plan. Now, we have a really inviting and a natural way to get into our home.

With architectural features like a Mediterranean-looking roof and some parapet walls and arches, it has completely changed the feel of this house. It makes more sense for our family and reflects our love for the southwestern look. We just love it.

Working with Fraley + Company was a pleasurable, educational and rewarding experience that resulted in a beautiful, highly functioning kitchen, and beverage bar conveniently positioned near the living area and dining room for entertaining. Our remodeled kitchen works like a dream - plenty of room for all necessary components and spaces organized by function. Great experience and spectacular result!

Joel, Nicole and team created a gorgeous design to give us the “WOW” factor. We remodeled our kitchen and 4 bathrooms. The results are stunning! They are great designers and we thoroughly enjoyed working with them.

We bought our 1920’s craftsman house in SE Portland because it fit us as a family. But the kitchen especially was just tired and awkward. We’d done minor renovations on our own, but this was way bigger than we could handle. Joel was referred to us, and we haven’t looked back!

He and his team are magical. He knows home renovation and construction, he’s a master of design, and he’s got a really great sense of style.

Now that our plans are drawn up and samples locked in, we’re moving into construction and can’t wait to transform the vision into real life.

If you’re thinking of doing any design work, large or small scale, get Joel and his team at Fraley + Company. We literally cannot stop ourselves from working with him.

We used Fraley + Company to design our finished basement and we couldn't be happier! Joel and the team were very professional, always courteous and patient with our questions and requests and willing to steer us in the right direction when we were off track. We are very happy with how the project turned out and we would recommend their work to anyone.

Fraley & Company led a remodel where we turned an upstairs closet (our only one!) into a bathroom, added a beautifully tiled mudroom to our front entry, installed new oak floor on the entire main level and installed beautiful custom closets and new skylights in our primary and secondary bedrooms. My wife is a CPA and very frugal and she gave perhaps the highest compliment I've ever heard her give: "I can't imagine having spent this money any other way."

Jason and I are Mid-Century modern design enthusiasts and we had a very outdated and ugly kitchen that needed to be completely gutted. We wanted to take everything back to how it was, with an update of course.

When we approached Joel about working with us to design our new kitchen, he was stoked about the opportunity and we appreciated his enthusiasm.

This was our first extensive remodel project and there were definitely emotional moments. We learned very quickly from Joel that what we were feeling was totally normal and he was very supportive through the process.

We love our new kitchen so much! It is what Joel likes to call "top quality bad-assery." All the materials work beautifully together and we have Fraley & Company to thank. It’s an amazing transformation.

Joel and Linzy were the partners we needed in our remodel. They kept us on track and always with a great starting point on all of the decisions required to update our master bed and bath and add a powder room. They struck the balance we sought in getting our 110 year old home closer to its original aesthetic without making tradeoffs in its contemporary appeal. Across almost every element Joel showed off his skills, most notably with a design of a period-right custom vanity and mirrors. Our master bath now feels warmer and more inviting even though we carved off enough room for a new 1/2 bath, and our master bedroom has gone from a cave-like room ala the Brady Bunch to a light, open and welcome abode. We are very happy.

I've used Fraley + Company on several large projects, and I'm very satisfied with the results. Joel and his team are very creative, but good listeners as well - they're great at taking my rough thoughts and turning them into great design.

We thoroughly enjoyed working with Fraley + Company on our bathrooms remodel. Joel and his staff were easy and fun to work with. Their collaborative style was appreciated. They offered good advice on materials and were always willing to hear and consider our ideas. Some of our time together was during the early pandemic, but we were able to continue our work with them in a safe way. We highly recommend Fraley + Company for your design needs.
