General Contractor reviews in Ankeny, Iowa

I would hire T&E to do anything. They are prompt and communicate every step of the way. 5 star quality and 5 star service!

T and E did a fantastic job. The quality of their work was great. The finished product was first rate. I highly recommend them.🤩

Eric and everyone at T&E were great the entire process. Their contractors were always there as scheduled and any changes were always communicated by the project manager. Highly recommend!

This was our first time hiring someone to do work on our home (we are DIYers), but a big job like siding, stone, and a new front porch was more than we wanted to take on ourselves. We are so glad we found this company, what a great experience! Everyone on the team was great to work with and Matt provided prompt communication every step of the way so we always knew what to expect. We had a few unexpected changes needed during the project but they adjusted everything quickly and even helped us with design and colors when we were feeling indecisive. At the end of each day everything was picked up neatly and they were respectful of our landscaping. Their attention to detail was amazing; they have earned our trust 100%!

We recently used T&E to remodel three bathrooms in our home. We are quite experienced in hiring remodelers as we have done extensive remodeling of our home since moving in 14 years ago. I can honestly say T&E was by far the best contractor we have worked with! The communication was far and above anyone else we have used and their workmanship was was amazing as well. Our bathrooms turned out beautifully!!

Eric and his team did an absolutely excellent job finishing our basement space. They gave a very competitive bid for the work and had no issues tackling any of the minor issues that arose. The entire crew was professional, courteous and did an amazing job. Additionally they communicated with us every week about what to expect and which steps were being completed. We could not be more pleased with the new addition. Their prices are very competitive and stayed well within our budget. Absolutely would recommend.

We just had a screened-in deck built and we couldn’t be happier with the end result! From start to finish, the communication was top-notch and always knew what to expect during the process. I had a couple questions along the way and they were answered the same day. We are also thrilled with the quality as it looks to be a natural part of the house, not an after-market addition. We’ve received so many compliments already and are loving using it.
Overall this is a great company to work with and would highly recommend. We will be using again if anything else comes up in the wishlist.

Travis, Eric and Matt we’re outstanding from start to finish on the construction of our home. We’ve built 5 homes with different builders and this has been by far our best experience. They truly care about their clients wants and needs and always go the extra mile.
The follow up after completion of our home has also been excellent.
I endorse and recommend them and would build with them again without hesitation.

Sincerely Jeff and Julie Johnson

The entire team at T&E was absolutely wonderful to work with from day one! We were never left wondering because Eric and Matt were great communicators. We were truly impressed by their trustworthiness and the craftsmanship their entire team brought to our kitchen remodel. They made our dream kitchen come true and I would work them again and again!

Eric, Travis and the T&E Team were a real pleasure to work with on our new home at Lake Ponderosa. From the earliest planning phases, through construction and follow-up post-construction, they were honest, thorough and outstanding partners. We love the quality of their construction and craftsmanship and couldn't be happier with the finished product.

We had a wonderful experience working with T & E. From design to the finish Eric, Matt, Travis & team were to work with on the project.

We had T & E do a significant remodel on a Lake Ponderosa house that called for taking out cinder block walls , moving plumbing and two bathrooms and kitchen remodel. Working with the T & E team was a very positive experience. The team had good suggestions, were excellent at communication, and were flexible when we asked for changes. We could not be happier with the quality of finished project.

T&E Construction and their team were outstanding to work with. We have built 5 homes and this was by far the best experience we have had with any builder! Their knowledge, experience, quality, and follow-up are exceptional. We would absolutely recommend T&E to anyone looking for a positive experience building a home or remodeling. Thank you so much Eric, Travis, and team. We love our home!

Sincerely,

Jeff & Julie Johnson

T&E had done a lot of work in our neighborhood and all of their work looked great. So when we looked to add a screened in porch we gave them a call. Eric did a nice job talking through the details and the quote. Matt and team executed the build as the plan laid out and the end result has been beautiful. I highly recommend giving them a call.

We were very impressed with the open communication of the whole project. They are very professional and knowledgeable.
T and E finished the project so efficiently. The new deck looks great and can’t wait to use it here this spring and summer, especially when there’s a pool next to it! We highly recommend Eric and the crew to do your dream project.

We were looking to expand an area in our kitchen and knew exactly who to contact. T&E Construction had done other work at our home so they were the only call we made.
Eric came to our home, sat down and talked to us, looked through pictures of what we wanted as a final vision for our kitchen, sketched out ideas and off we went. With a hiccup of supporting columns in our way, a workaround was discussed, engineers brought in before any work was started to ensure the project could be completed so everything would be structurally sound and perfect for the dream we envisioned.
Travis and the crew at T&E are true masters in their trade! All are professionals, quality individuals who we consider a part of our family because of the respect they showed during the build and upbeat, helpful attitude they brought to the house every day.
Matt was in charge of the project, subs, schedule, everything and with an App provided by T&E, I knew what was going to happen every day, which trade was going to be here and when the job would be done. A fantastic tool to have at our disposal. Matt was always easy to reach, quick with a response and on the site each day. He was wonderful to work with.
We are beyond thrilled with the way our kitchen and pantry turned out. We are so proud to tell everyone about T&E Construction when asked who did the work!
Thank you to all involved to make it happen!

T&E Construction did an absolutely fabulous job on our upstairs remodel. They quoted us 6 to 8 weeks for the remodel from start to finish and gave us an extremely detailed schedule of exactly what would happen each day. And every single thing was right on schedule and within budget. The initial estimate they gave us included a price range for very good quality products, which meant while picking out flooring and fixtures we were able to get the products we wanted without seeing an increase to our budget. We plan to remodel our main level in a few years and will definitely be going back to T & E Construction. Thank you Travis and Eric for making our first remodel experience a success!!

Great workmanship. Rich is awesome!!!!

A very honest company. You definitely get your moneys worth.

Lazy. Shoddy work. Wouldn’t recommend these people to my worst neighbor.

Our new siding is wonderful! Jose and his crew are easy to work with and very professional. Jose gave us an estimate quickly and completed the work in a very timely manner. DLR does whatever they can to have good project outcomes. I will hire them again for future home improvements. Mary Markwalter. Mason City, Iowa

Got my basement remodeling. They gave us very detailed estimate and reasonable price. Very mindful and careful. We love the result.
