Cottage Care does a thorough job, leaving my home sparkling clean and fresh every time. I'm thrilled to get my preferred cleaner Tina regularly, because she is friendly, professional, and careful with my stuff. I've been a regular Cottage Care client for nearly 5 years now, and I appreciate the consistently high quality service. Excellent service, super nice people, and they never let me down. HIGHLY recommended!

If I could give zero stars I would. Extremely friendly but do not clean well at all. I was quoted a move out deep clean on a rental home that I own for $436.00 that included cleaning the stove. After they were done it was apparent they had not cleaned the bathroom floor which shocked me. They also claimed to have cleaned baseboards but they were still dirty. I had them come back out and they did clean the bathroom floor, recleaned the baseboards and cleaned air intakes which they hadn't cleaned before. They comped me the stove cleaning for the inconvenience so I paid $386.00 total. Well shame on me because I should have looked a LOT harder. The place looked cleaner because things were wiped down and cabinets were vacuumed out etc. but they just surfaced cleaned. The floors in the home are dark and patterned so it's hard to see dirt and I should have got down on my hands and knees with a light and looked. About a week later we went back into the house to do some work - no one had been in the home since it was cleaned. I brought cleaning supplies with me in case the work we were doing caused something to have to be cleaned up. With the sun shining in I saw some dirt on the floor so I got the mop out and some hot water and mopped the area - I could not believe how BLACK the water was where I mopped. Before I continued I turned all the lights on and really got down and looked at floors. They had been swept - not washed. There was grime in the corners similar to the grime that showed up on the light bathroom floors. I should have known when the bathroom floor wasn't done that they simply didn't do any of the floors. They left without wet cleaning any of the floors and they CLAIM they get on their hands and knees to scrub the kitchen and bathroom floors. (see pics) That claim is honestly what sold me because to me that meant they were thorough. I continued to mop the floors and with just a mop and warm water and had to change the water about 6 times because it was black. (pic of water dumped into tub for reference) Upon further inspection I realized the mosaic multicolor backsplash in the kitchen still had food splatter all over it and the gas stove still had food debris on the surface and the grates. Nothing had been scrubbed at all. They claim to clean ceiling fans as well and I examined closer and realized that maybe they dusted them but we all know dusting a kitchen ceiling fan doesn't work - a cleaner would need to be used. I really should have looked harder before signing off on it - they were so nice that I trusted them at their word and the place did look cleaner because they did wipe things - but they didn't deep clean at all. I'm just really shocked that a company with this many good reviews left my house like this. Not going to lie - it was dirty. But I paid for a move out deep clean and they should have done that and they didn't. Also the 3 bedrooms had no flooring in them due to the carpet being pulled out so all they had to do in those rooms was clean the baseboards and they didn't give me any discount for that at all. I didn't ask for one but now that I realize the horrible job they did, I'm realizing how much they took advantage of me. They've told me that because it's been 8 days it's past their 24 policy and they can't do anything for me. That's fine. I'll leave my review here and make sure to tell people not to use them. It's my fault for being so trusting. Edited to add that they also told me they clean out the cabinets in the kitchen and while the food debris was vacuumed or wiped out they did not clean the shelves. There were still things stuck to them.

Cottage Care goes above and beyond! They were willing to do a very last minute cleaning for me before I got home from an extended hospital stay. It was wonderful to come home to a clean house and no worries while I recovered. They were so kind and I could tell that they were truly happy to help!
