Had water backing up called said they would be out first thing in the morning didn't hear anything out of them till close to 5 p.m. said they were having vehicle issues they finally showed up the next day spent 3 hours jetting my line told me I had a break in my line quoted me 2500 to 3500 to repair it following day contacted Bob Hoover out of Princeton he came out snake my line had it clear in less than an hour sent camera down the line no break sketchy people here I tell you what

Not very professional. Does good work IF you can get him to show up. Makes too many excuses. Tells u he is coming and doesnt show up. Voice mail always full. I am very disappointed. Gave them many chances to work for me. Have used them before and they were great but lately something has changed.

We tried to use them. John came to our house and agreed to have a quote to us within a few days for replacement and possible upgrade of our water heaters. Been weeks no reply. Had someone else do the work. Wouldn't recommend this company.

Called for work and estimate on work told me that they would be out later that day and would call when they was on their way.

Well they never called back, never came out and still till this day haven't heard anything from them.

Had us waiting without running water for 36 hours before i found another contractor to come out, we have kids and pets so 36 hours without water their is no excuse, they could have atleast called and said they couldn't help.

Also every time I called afterwards no answer voice mail and on top of that mail box full seems they never answer the phone.

Worst contractor ever , on professionalism, common courtesy, if i could i would rate a 0 star rating.

Called John on a Sunday afternoon with sewer lines backed up he said Monday morning he would be there. Dawson came and told me he got the sewer line cleaned out and talked with me about tree root killer and how to use it! Very professional and on time!

My mother's sewer was backed up and they came the same day on a federal holiday. They had the line cleared of tree roots quickly. Will definitely use them again.

Hired them to check/clean drain. Had hard time locating line.One guy came, couldn't run backhoe. Finally 2 more people came found end pipe.All left, supposed come back and finish. No one came back

The service from the owner, John, and his staff was top notch. We woke up to our old hot water heater no longer working and they had it replaced within 24 hours, where other companies said it would take atleast a few days. They were all very polite, quick, and informative…despite some weather conditions that had everyone closing and running behind. We will definitely be calling Southern Iowa Plumbing first from now on.

Called them out to look at my house, said he would get back the following day with a quote. Never heard anything so tried calling, took a week to get a hold of them. Once I finally got a hold of them, told me he still didn’t figure it out but would get back to me promptly. Waited another week and still nothing. Finally decided to just get someone else, set my project back 2 weeks due to the screwing around. Might send him an invoice for wasting my time lol
