Concrete Contractor reviews in Des Moines, Iowa

Promptly returned my calls. Started job when promised. Fast and efficient. Cleaned job site at the end. Very satisfied.

Another satisfied customer, the concrete work is all good, the driveway is 100% great, better than we expected. The stamping is 9 of 10, and the grading is 9 of 10, good. Jose was a pleasure to work with, listened and installed as requested. Good price, on time, good clean up. Recommended.

Jose' and his team did an amazing job pouring a new mini-golf build for us! They did the forms perfectly and were easy to work with! I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs a solid team - no matter how big or little the job is!

We had a large patio poured, and they did a terrific job. Very reasonably priced, thorough, high-quality craftsmanship. They came back later to remove the forms and put fresh dirt around. This will be my first call if we have future concrete needs. Overall, couldn’t be happier with the price, quality, and service!

Colin concrete was able to restore our stamped concrete back to better than new!

We had a very good experience with Colin Concrete and we worked with Jose and his brother and the rest of the team. I understand why they get a 5 star review. I would HIGHLY recommend them.. We will be using them this summer for another concrete step that needs updated. They came in and went right to work and got the job done.. We had many compliments that the step looks great and improves the value of the home... Thank you....

Colin Concrete was very responsive, especially for what I believe is a Sole Proprietor who has to juggle dozens of calls a day. Came out very quickly to measure and had a quote created on the spot. Within a few weeks, the crew was out to replace my sidewalk. They were in and out in a day, then came back a few days later to cut in the relief joints after some cure time. The bill was what we agreed upon. Overall, a very responsive, quick and trustworthy company. A plus rating in my book. Thank you!

They did a 32ftx12ft concrete patio for me. It looks nice. My issue is that I had to chase them down to clean up after the job. They did the whole job on Thursday, which was great, and came back on Friday to clean up, but left an entire pile of rock in my neighbor's yard, left pipes/hoses, and they had severed a power cord in my backyard that led to my garage and didn't even tell me about it. So, I had to call back and have Jose come back out to my property to fix it. But, he didn't bring anything to move the rock, so he said he would come Saturday, then they told me Monday. When I pushed back on them, they finally came out on Saturday. They didn't move the rock, they just kinda patted it down and said "Is it good?" They're a fine company. The price was good. I would monitor them and ensure they clean up before they go.

Colin did a fantastic job on our driveway. We made a portion of it a patio with a colored cobble stone print pattern. It came out nicely. Just what we pictured it would look like. We had some existing stone and brick work that he had to work around. We also had a gate and some stairs that were removed to lay the concrete in the best looking way. He and his team returned and reinstalled everything. We also ended up needing some foundation repair. There were a few issues that we wanted addressed, and Colin came right away and addressed them until we were satisfied. He and his team were very easy to work with. I would highly recommend the quality of his work.

Despite mentioning several times that there is a storm predicted in the afternoon, Colin decided to lay the concrete for my driveway.
He kept saying it will not be an issue. Just as they were pouring the last section of the driveway, it started to pour, leaving several rain marks on the concrete.
Overall it was not a pleasant experience. The company has skilled workers but I would give the owner poor marks for communication. I had to ask him if I need to water the concrete daily or how long I could not drive on it. He never bothered to mention any of these.
I now have a driveway with rain marks and poor finish. Not the kind of driveway I had asked for.

Jose and his crew replaced my driveway the results were amazing we recommend Colin concrete to anyone.

Excellent experience! After calling for a quote Jose actually showed up later that afternoon and gave a very competitive quote for a concrete patio. He also filled in some areas with rock in my backyard. Within 1 week his crew came out and poured a fantastic looking stamped concrete patio. Would highly recommend using Colin Concrete for any of your concrete needs!

Jose gave us a quick estimate, came to complete the work on time and on budget (per estimate. The crew was polite and hard working. Clean language and professional. And clean up at the end was 1st class. Thank you.

Awesome service, good price came when they said they would. Really happy.
Thank you, Bill

José and his crew repaired concrete steps that were cracking/missing chunks of material. The new steps look amazing and we are very happy with the quality of the work.

I am absolutely satisfied with the project from start to finish. Colin employees are hard working no nonsense kind of guys.

Jose came out the same day I requested to give a quote and that night I had a written quote. After confirming his crew was out within two weeks to get started. This was our first time hiring something like this and everything went fantastic! Thanks again

I am a commercial superintendent and had an issue with a Paint booths pit. I called these guys. They were able to meet my schedule and price they came, and did the demolition in one day came in the next day formed everything up, poured everything and knocked it out of the park. And they did more with fewer guys than a bigger crew did with three times the crew

Jose was super quick to respond to my request for a quote! He came out to our home to give said quote the next day. He offered a great price and set a project start date of early June. Lo-and-behold he actually started and completed the project before the end of May! The team even installed underground drains to assist with safety and a great facade! We could not have asked for a better experience. We will be referring Colin Concrete Des Moines LLC to anyone who asks us for a concrete company in the future!

After having Colin Concrete do a high quality job on our sidewalk squares, we asked them to replace our walkway to the front porch. They did a great job!

They did a great job on our patio! The quote was reasonable and the turnaround time from quote to project completion was really quick—less than a week. We’d use again for future concrete needs and would recommend to others.
