B & L Electric did an amazing job at our Des Moines ministry location. Due to copper pipe theft on our previous AC Unit, we had Modern Heating & Air put a new unit on the roof (another excellent company!) That required special electrical attention and a full day's work. I'm so glad that the AC team made the connection with B & L for us to get it all done right! They were courteous, did quality work, and the customer service was outstanding. We are thankful for the new relationship and will call you first now anytime we have electrical needs. We LOVE working with B&L Electric. Tanner and team are extremely professional, always do incredible work, and charge fair prices. We have had B&L do numerous projects at our house including hanging light fixtures, adding recessed lighting, replacing sockets, adding new sockets, etc. Every project, regardless of size or complexity, has been completed to a high standard of work. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

B&L Electric LLC came to our rescue last winter. Our meter box over heated and had to be pulled right away by the Electric company, this was after 5pm. B&L came right away. After they had accessed the situation they got busy and fixed our meter super fast and also contacted the Electric Co. right away to come back and get us hooked back up. They were outstanding!!!

I called mid morning overwhelmed with a slight emergent matter, Rachel was friendly and helpful she reached out to the Boss he called right away, I explained my situation and he told me his crew had an appointment but would be able to get me right after.. Jorden and Tanner called shortly afterwards and headed my way they were very polite and patient with me explaining my issues I know nothing about electrical work. They looked at the problem and were very helpful and honest. I would highly recommend and I would also use them in the future for any electrical work needed. They cleaned up after themselves and were very respectful. From initial phone call to final work being done, it was between 3-4 business days!

Overall a really good experience with B&L. By far the best part was the price. Much more affordable than other quotes we rec’d and they did the same work. The guys showed up on time and stayed late to get the job done and were good to work with! A few minor cosmetic things like needing to fix siding after upgrading the electrical box, but those are probably to be expected with such a large project and at the price they charged. Good experience, will work with them again!

Rental inspection required GFI outlet installation. B&L was the only company I called that gave me an estimate of cost. They arrived on time, completed the work, and came out when the reinspection of the work was done. If I need electrical work done in the future they will be my first call.

Had a great overall experience using B & L Electric. From setting up the appointment over the phone with Rachel, who is very friendly, to having Logan, who was professional and courteous, come out to my property for the estimate, and giving me different options, to David and Mason, the two electricians that completed my project at my house. With their combined experience, they recommended a better way to run a 240 V line from my basement breaker box out to my garage without having to have any unsightly conduit running up the outside of the drywall in my garage. They went above and beyond my expectations in getting my 7500W electric heater put up just the way I wanted it. To top it off, their price was about 10% less than another company’s estimate I had gotten. I highly recommend using them!

Tanner and Josh have been great work. Tanner is very professional and willing to answer our questions about electrical scope and budget management for our new home. Very open and tranparent which gives us confidence and trust in their company. Josh is also very responsive on-site and willing to take time to answer my questions and to coordinate his will other contractors on-site.
