Kitchen Remodeler reviews in Des Moines, Iowa

AIM remodeled our bathroom. The process was very easy for us and we are very happy with the result.

AIM took our bathrooms and made them into something wonderful. Thank you to the staff for all their hard work!

Enjoyed every minute of my process with AIM very knowledgeable & great prices! They made my project so seamless & easy!

We had one bathroom remodeled- removed tub and installed shower and new vanity. Very happy with the result. The crew was great, stayed on the job and finished in the amount of time promised.

Brady, Joe, Hunter, James are all great craftsmen, our remodel exceeds our expectations

Alex and his team did an amazing job on our kitchen! I couldn't have been more pleased. They are one stop shop for construction, counters, plumbing, electrical, flooring, counters and design. He was quick to answer my questions on nights and weekends. Stuck to our budget and we couldn't be more pleased!

We had AIM install can lights and a ceiling fan in our living room. They do amazing work, the electrician Ben is VERY good. I would recommend them for anything!!

Just finished our master bath with Corey and Brian. Highly recommend them for any remodeling needs. So easy to work with- great communication and quality work!

Alex and his crew did a full kitchen remodel. They tore down a wall which opened the kitchen up to the dining room. They added new cabinets, new quartz counter tops, new sink, new backsplash, pantry, and lighting. We couldn't be more happy with the results. We spend most of our time at home in this space now. The crew was very professional and kept the area very clean when the left for the day. I would recommend them to anyone and plan to use them in the future for additional updates.

Complete remodel of master bath.
Alex was great to work with throughout the entire project. He presented great ideas and stuck to our budget.
Jeremy and Aaron have great craftsmanship and always cleaned up at the end of the day. Very respectful of their surroundings.

AIM did an amazing job updating my bathroom. They were beyond helpful. Everyone was very professional and my bathroom makeover exceeded my expectations.

Like many others during COVID, my wife and I looked around at the house and went “hmmm, we probably need to update this.” For us, that project was our upstairs bathroom. It’s not that it was *bad*….it’s just that the bathtub looked like it was going to fall through the floor at any moment, our sink had varying degrees of pressure, we had little to no storage space, and that the space between the vanity and bathtub made it virtually impossible for two adults to move past each other without actually having to get into the tub. Enter AIM.

Now, I won’t sugarcoat it. Getting from calling to set up an appointment to actual renovation was about 15 months. We started the process in February 2021 and final inspection was July 2022. Much, if not all of this, was due to manpower and supply shortages as well as the number of projects that were ongoing. Our start date changed several times and the design point of contact we had was as responsive as we would have hoped for considering the scale of the project that we were undertaking. However, once we got a start date, things became a lot smoother.

We underwent a full tear out and that took about 2 days, certainly much faster than if I had to do it myself. Once down to the joists, it was discovered that they needed to be reinforced with 2x6s to level them off so it took a bit more time during that first week. From there, it was some what small steps. Certain parts of the bathroom were able to go in quickly although we had to wait on subcontractors for the others. Everything came out just fine in the end but there were some small back end things that led to slight delays.

As for the service, our contractor Ryan was fantastic. He was extremely thorough in his work and honest about what was being done and how long it would take. Like I said, some days there was a lot of progress; other days, not so much. I felt like there were no corners cut and Ryan even relaid the entire tile floor after it was discovered that one box had been shipped with a different sheen than the rest. We certainly appreciated his hard work and dedication in the overall effort.

Overall, we are extremely pleased with how the final product turned out. I received several phone calls from the general manager and owner throughout the process, updating us on issues and asking for feedback. It was nice knowing that our project wasn’t just another job to them. I would recommend AIM to anyone and just emphasize patience when it comes to getting your project completed. They certainly emphasize thoroughness over expediency.

AIM did a great job remodeling our bathroom from start to finish! Even though this process took longer due to working through a pandemic they kept us informed and involved throughout. Genuinely nice folks to work with!

If you're looking for high quality service and craftsmanship for your home remodel, you have to call these guys! You won't be disappointed. Their team is so talented (from their eye for design to the remodel, finished work itself) and their care for their customers is first class. I highly recommend AIM Kitchen & Bath!

Alex provided great design ideas and Brian and crew were everything you want in a contractor. AIM has done 3 projects for us and couldn't be happier with the results. Highly recommended.

We have chosen AIM four times for projects in our home. Each experience was unique, fun and the final product met our high expectations. We have entrusted our home remodels to Alex and the team at AIM for over a decade. The HIGHEST recommendation for AIM Kitchen & Bath in the heart of Beaverdale.

I worked with AIM in October of 2023 on a small bathroom remodel in my home. The project needed expert hands due to some very uneven walls and other unique issues in my older home. AIM tackled it with skill and professionalism. Great to work with.

We used AIM Kitchen and Bath to upgrade our kitchen. Stephanie was our contact throughout the project and was great to work with. We upgraded our counter tops, kitchen sink and had backsplash tile installed. The results were amazing. We couldn't be happier with the finished product. We will definitely use this business again when it's time to upgrade or 3 bathrooms.

Aim met and even exceeded our expectations! We’ve had other house remodels done in the past, and the quality and professionalism of Aim is in another league compared to random contractors we’ve used before. Our kitchen is breathtakingly beautiful, and we are so thankful to Patrick, Ben, Ben, and Brad for their hard work! We will definitely work with Aim from now on for any future remodeling projects!

AIM was absolutely wonderful to work with. Everyone from the office staff to the design team and tradespeople are super friendly and knowledgable. They completely removed a very scary basement bathroom, and replaced it with a beautiful, functional space. The space was very challenging and had a number of tricky spots, but they were great at creating innovative solutions that look great. They listened to what I wanted, and worked with the challenges of supply chain issues really well. They really care about their customers, and do everything they can to ensure you're happy with the end result. During the actual renovation, the same two guys came every day, which was great for peace of mind. They also were happy to stop and teach me a bit about what they were doing, which was nice. They were always super respectful, and made the process go by super quick. Would definitely recommend them for any big or complicated renovations!

AIM has done multiple projects in our home including an entire first floor renovation. They have exceptional customer service and attention to detail. Having their crew working in our home has always given us great peace of mind knowing they are trustworthy and easy to work with. If you want a full service design and remodel contractor you can't go wrong with AIM.
